"A Palestine supporter witnesses new footage every day of children being mutilated, shredded and burned to death by Israel. An Israel supporter spends every day avoiding looking at that same footage. This one fact tells you very clearly who is on the wrong side of history here."

... and the Palestine supporter is berated, condemned, penalised, censored for supposedly siding with 'terrorists' - the name given by demagogues, dictators, scoundrels to the oppressed who no longer have a means of securing their right to life other than by, paradoxically, fighting for peace ... in their revolt committing violent and appalling acts for which they are reviled, though the real 'terrorists', those who have held whole peoples hostage for decades and persecuted them in all manner of ways are now defended for committing much worse acts of the utmost brutality and on a scale far greater than anything those *freedom fighters* were driven to commit are supported in their slaughter of women, children, infants because they are acting in *self defence.*

Caitlin, more than the billionaires and oligarchs like Musk, Trump, etc., what disgusts me are the cadre of top-level people supporting such sociopaths and psychopaths - I'm talking of ordinary people like private security forces, accountants, financial planners, lawyers, yes-men (and women), assistants, PR agents, and more -> all subservient, obsequious, slavish, compliant sycophants that do the bidding for the WORST of humanity.

I'm talking of the 1-2% that DIRECTLY support the top %1 in every way - the wannabe's, the 'I want to be the next billionaire too' slimeballs, the 'I'll do whatever it takes to get to the top (even if it means genociding innocent people)' kind of people/support staff.

Forget about shame, guilt, principles, values, or morals - as these support-people seem to have none.. There is a WHOLE POPULATION of people that support the likes of deranged people like Musk, Trump, etc. Our society has degenerated into a sickness for which I fear there is no cure.

Even if people like Trump, Musk, Netanyahu, etc. were to be eliminated, there are scores of 'wannabes' that seem to be more than eager to replace them. THIS is the DEEP SICKNESS that afflicts our societies.

Sorry if I'm going on a tangent, but as much as I loathe creatures like Musk, Trump, Satanyahu, etc. - I feel an equal amount of contempt for the 1-2% of the population that enable and support the behaviors of these monsters at every turn.

HOW do we prevent/cure this psychopathy in society? Is there no hope? Will even 'killing Capitalism' cure us (i.e. humanity) of this? I'm absolutely livid with anger not just at the 0.01% but also at the 1-2% directly under this 0.01% that make the behavior of the 0.01% viable in the first place.

Chang C. Maybe you can find a little hope with BRICS whose philosophy is we win-you win, mutually respected; and country size is ignored. All are equal. Taking the power of the dollar being used as a weapon to commit coups, wars, punish other countries with brutal sanctions, will make the US unable to steal others money and destroy them whenever those countries won't do as the US dictates. BRICS countries will be free at last from this cruel empire. The US and Israel will lose their power. At last.

No offense, Rob Roy, but I'm very familiar with BRICS, their history, their objectives, and more.

I suggest reading "BRICS: An Anti-Capitalist Critique" (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/25102689) that takes a critical view towards the BRICS that's exhibited in concrete events, as opposed to the BRICS as it exists in the rhetoric leadership that is being used to tap into 'third-worldist' hopes/dreams.

BRICS has pretty much surrendered to neoliberal globalization (remember -> it is a capitalist trading bloc against the Western institutionalized financial and trade systems/arrangements), and not a force for 'social change' or 'left or right' ideologies.

>>"The US and Israel will lose their power."

That is a good start, but I doubt that will be enough or will come even remotely close to demolishing Capitalism. Something else is needed...

"HOW do we prevent/cure this psychopathy in society? ... Will even 'killing Capitalism' cure us (i.e. humanity) of this?"

Good questions. Well, first of all, those who want to rail against the system of capitalism as some kind of primary *cause* of psychopathy, are definitely barking up the wrong tree. It simply isn't the system. For one thing, a century of psychopathic "Marxists" (curiously, and by far, the ones running things at the top) have easily been as abusive as capitalists, or worse. Not acknowledging this is simply denial; but of course vested interests live on, just as they do for psychopathic capitalists.

Desires for both social cooperation (objects of socialism) *and* possession and material rewards for effort (objects of capitalism) are ineradicable parts of human nature, and in the 21st century it is only fools (or monsters) who think we can completely destroy either as the path to nirvana (though WEF is putting in quite the effort). So let's start understanding this through biology and evolution for psychopathy, and environmental psychopathology for sociopathy. And leave the (macro)economics for later.

The (naturally) powerless *never* actually become powerful. It's an oxymoron. Happy lives for the powerless require instead a healthy (non-psychopathic) society with noblesse oblige. But pied pipers certainly spring eternal; if we are careless, we'll go on fooling ourselves that some new-and-improved revolution will fix it all.

"I'm absolutely livid with anger"

I think it's better to think of the iron law of oligarchy as completely natural, and that psychopaths have *always* risen to the top. Nothing has really been getting worse in human nature. It is the accumulation of technological power is really what is allowing things to get worse. The bright side is that we are, very likely, now in a world that, in breadth, has never been more conscious of the destructive effects of psychopathy.

Mary Trump, a clinical psychologist with firsthand knowledge of her Uncle, Donald, captures the essence of the mental disorder of the very rich in the title of her book: Too Much and Never Enough. She chronicles how Donald Trump, to avoid the abuse his brother received at the hands of racist Fred Trump, the father, whom Mary Trump describes as a sociopath, adopts the sociopathic traits of his father. He lives with the idea that to lose is to be a failure and unworthy of love, which explains why even when it is clear he has lost, he cannot admit it. It is how he copes with failure, by blaming others for cheating to claim victory.

Musk, like Trump, had a domineering father who was abusive and who belittled him for any failures: "In interviews with Walter Isaacson for his biography of Elon, the tech mogul said that, before he left South Africa for Canada in the 1980s, his father predicted that he would be back in a few months because he would “never be successful.” Elon has said that his father "went a little crazy."

We see a similar obsession with success, of the concept that if one fails, one is unworthy of love or respect, and so develops an ego that cannot live with anything but great success, which explains why Elon Musk has invented a narrative to claim he founded Paypal, Tesla, etc, when in fact he did not but invested in them and then, by hook and crook, took over.

The mental derangement in which there is never enough explains many wealthy men (with a few rare exceptions), for this is a tormented soul seeking assurance of love and respect but fearing that it can only be gained by seizing more and more, and yet knowing that the very wealthy can never be sure they are loved or admired, because of the possibility it is their wealth that is the real attraction. And so we see in such men a history of failed marriages and relationships.....tainted with cheating and betrayal, for one of the ways to prove one's worth is by conquering many women, even to the point of rape, as with convicted rapist Trump.

And this brings me to the term that best describes this mental monstrosity which is variously called psychopathology, malignant narcissism, greed, etc. The term I find most fitting is the word RAPACIOUS, which is the violent seizure we associate with greedy sociopaths, rapists, and military villains, seizing land, people, and attempting to top of their power by becoming master of the world, which we see in Musk becoming the richest man in the world (and thus the most loved...well, that romance is over)and Trump's tariff wars as an attempt to control the economy of the entire world, in an environment of seized wealth and power that is..............never enough.

So in the end, it is this inability to satisfy the inner demand which is a substitute for love and respect, the inability to fill the hollow space within with money, power, possessions, trophies of women and possessions.....for it is impossible to fill an empty soul, tho the illusion that more and more will satisfy the inner craving works tirelessly but with futiity to have enough: love, respect, and peace of mind. That is impossible for many of the rich, perhaps most.....because you cannot fill an endless inner vessel and so the attempt becomes a vicious cycle in which those on the periphery, as tho sucked into a black hole, which is a good description of the inner core of men like Trump and Musk, are replaced with others, who also are sucked into a hole so deep that it can never be filled but can never be denied.

I would call this mental disease, caused by a black hole where the soul should be, rapacity, or to use another term that comes to mind, callous apatheia, a cruel indifference to the suffering one causes, which reminds me of what Musk said about empathy being a disease and Trump

saying he 'couldn't care less' if auto prices rise because of tariffs. "

CanI add an international comment to two, Dale.

We must all know the following by now........

Trump was purchased by the Jewish shekel / USA gambling dollars thanks to the likes of Adelson, and big moneymakers like Musk and others of the same mind. But nobody ever adds in the ones that play it cool, avoid the front pages, the real money spinners, resident in Europe, the City of London, who attend the billionaire's club in Davos, whose money is in oil, real estate, investments, banks and precious metals and who have been around since year one, sponsoring world unrest when it suits them and holding politicians to account in all countries in so many ways.......but keeping their activities as low profile activities. Of course, living the grand life. Add to this…...

The similarlity between Trump and past Presidential puppets is that the haven't been highly intellectual human beings. In fact, quite the opposite as in 2025, evidenced whenever the current red-tie misfit chooses to put a sentence together. Right now, controlled tightly on the end of a short lead held by Israel, he is doing what he is told, therefore he is the perfect fit for the next step of the great plan.

Trump controls wars, industry, public opinion, media, a very large military who never ever seem to question any command from the White House, together with a sleepy population now seeing and accepting the daily actions of ICE, the militarised Mexican border forces, public servant reductions like never before, medical programs heading for a third world country standard and making all these changes now accepted as the new norm. How?

Media ownership. Media control. The truth is known to most but tailored to suit the masters.

Remember, they elected him. He is controlled by the world's most hated state, capable of making the USA their private domain and presiding over a predominantly apathetic population of 360 million people, yes, those who elected him.

Now if we can accept most of the above, dependent on one's exposure to the facts, occasionally evident, then the solution becomes clear with one small hiccough…...

All Western governments are having their own problems due to a move to seeing the emergence of nazism as being acceptable in 2025. I ask you to look at Starmer in the UK, Merz in Germany, and others and tell me I am wrong. Their disregard, or their lack of interest in showing the USA their concerns at these new Jewish led policies in the Middle East (and the USA) and all the other associated crimes, is totally overshadowed by their primary goal and that is the control and manipulation of their own people, well under way. Again, thanks to media control, not very evident in Europe as well, their rightwing objectives are not very clear. The armed support for Ukraine being objective #1. The continued expansion of NATO, always on the top of the list.

The USA is heading fast to 'end of empire'. The Europeans are trying desperately to fill that gap and to recover the power that the USA will lose, to try and recover the status they used to have before WWII.

Of course , the remaining white Westerners, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, will do whatever they are told to do. No change there..

So why are the Europeans and Western governments not occupied with Trumps plans (yes,I know...Israel's plans), because they are playing their own game which they consider is of more interest to them than ethnic cleansing, blackmailed MAGA leaders and wars and mineral supplies and Gaza oil and gas, Gaza tourism, and on.

It's called priorities!

Trump is in power because people, especially Democratic Party leaders, underestimate his area of genius, which is in propaganda, whether commercial or political. He learned political propaganda from reading Hitler's New Order: collected speeches. He also learn style, the defiant gesture, the exaggeration, the demonization to rile up a crowd and create a mass movement based not on goals but shared hatred.

His mastery of this kind of communication far dwarfs his intellectual shallowness in terms of persuasion and attracting followers. By focusing on this deficiencies instead of understand his great talents, his political opponents failed to find a way to undermine his rhetorical mastery of crowd control. It is easier to condemn than to understand, and that is why Trump is President today.

Human domestication is the name of what we see now moving towards oligarchy that rules by blackmail and bribery, and human domestication is approximately 12,000 years old and still incorporates the oppressive tools that range from genocide to the now recent advances of material resources control by association with labor, which makes one the economic slave at any level of pay consumption. Gaza is an example of people in the way of oligarchy and resources as we see the end of natural rights. Where the rights of the oligarchs are decried as god given though money comes from graft, usury, and extortion, and to declare this godly authority, they have appropriated Judaism for their mafia and have extorted Europeans and the world.

No one appropriated Judaism. The Torah and Talmud are filled with blood-soaked pages about Jews slaughtering their neighbors because that is what God told them to do. And today Jews compare Gazans to those they previously slaughtered, completing an endless chain of slaughtering men, women, children, and livestock. The number of Jews opposing Israel is miniscule, good for them but they are ineffective against the millions supporting Israel and especially nearly 100% of wealthy Jews.

Unless more Jews in opposition to killing rise up as they did against Hitler in 1933 during the global Jewish boycott of Germany, the Jews who relish killing, pedophilia, and other psychopathic activities will prevail and spread throughout the world. These ugly Jews did not appropriate Judaism, they already had that. They appropriated nationalism and became Jewish fascists.

They most certainly did rise up against the Nazis. There was a global Jewish boycott of Germany supported by non-Jewish Americans and Christian groups and belatedly by the mainstream Jewish organizations in the US and UK among others. Germany needed international trade and foreign reserves, and the boycott hurt them. Ultimately, Jewish nationalists (many call them Zionists) IN GERMANY cut a deal with Hitler, in english the Transfer Agreement, to support Jewish migration to Palestine in return for those Jews purchasing goods from Germany for settlement thereby supporting the Nazi economy and trade and ultimately breaking the global Jewish boycott. The boycott by the way was dine at great sacrifice to European Jews. Warsaw for example was 25% Jewish and they had a strong trade with Germany that abruptly stopped when they started boycotting.

Hitler respected the idea of Jewish nationalism, he was after all the most extreme of nationalists, and the Agreement got rid of Jews and supported the Nazi economy.

Extreme wealth doesn’t just corrode minds by accident; it's a feature, not a bug.

Billionaires aren’t anomalies.

They are manufactured weapons.

Rich-brain?

No — it’s Designer Insanity: wealth-weaponized psychosis, crafted by a system that knows exactly what it’s doing.

Isolate them, inflate them, detach them from consequence — and you don't just get sick individuals.

You get willing architects of dystopia.

Because here’s the real ugly truth:

The billionaires aren't just "lost" in deep space.

They’ve been trained to orbit power.

Their sickness is useful.

Their neuroses are weapons.

Their madness isn’t a glitch in the system —

It is the system.

You want to know why Gaza burns while celebrities sing?

Why children are shredded live on the timeline while journalists ask you about concert controversies?

Because the empire doesn’t just tolerate psychotic billionaires —

It runs on them.

And you’re right: doing nothing isn’t neutrality — it’s consent.

Every shrugg, every look-away, every PR-fueled distraction lubricates the machine of genocide.

This isn’t a broken world.

This is a perfectly functioning one —

Engineered for lunacy, optimized for atrocity.

And until we stop treating billionaires like deformed gods instead of defective monsters,

until we rip the microphones from the hands of the professional bystanders,

this hell keeps grinding.
