What I find very unfunny is that rudiments of security were not adhered to by the fricken Secret Service. Why are they allowing a nearby building’s rooftop to be unsecured? There’s no way that rifleman even gets on a nearby rooftop let alone have time to set up fire without dereliction of duty or an outright setup.

The shooting was fake. Trump didn't get hit. The fireman didn't die. Everybody in the stands behind Trump were the worst crisis actors of all time. Trump's ear healed up perfectly within the week. There's a reason Trump drew people's attention away right before the shot. Why would they carry the supposedly dead fireman away by the legs and arms? Why would they wash down the roof without investigating the crime scene? Why is there no footage of the shooting from behind the podium? Why isn't Trump showing everyone photos of his scared ear? Why are most people believing in something so obviously fake?

Hey, on September 11, 2001, I had a story I'd been working on a long time on air pollution trading published on page one of the Wall Street Journal. I got the money quotes. It made Christie Whitman look bad.

Not funny and bad form to joke about assassinations.

Curious, The NY Times is running a narrated video that shows, apparently in real time, that Secret Service snipers were aimed at the assassin BEFORE shots were fired. The narrator even says this! If true, that will spawn some dangerous shit.

BTW, I just got terminated by X for a tweet where I suggested that an urban cyclist to kill himself in some other way, because if he continued to ride like the video he posted he was dead man walking, for sure.

According to X censors, that was "violent speech". But the cyclists' video, which encouraged extremely dangerous riding that is certain to get people killed if emulated, was A OK. That Just shows how stupid AI algorithms are.

NYT reported that the assassin fired 8 shots. I saw the UK story. I am no gun expert, but the alleged instantaneous "recoil" looks more like the sniper rising up off his scope and aim to get a visual. Those guys don't miss from 150 yards, so how could the assassin get time to fire 7 more shots? Or how could he have fired 8 shots before the sniper(s) took him out?

I saw an FBI spokesperson making EXACTLY the same claim in a network TV clip. SO, this is becoming the official excuse.

The NYT also reported that their expert concluded that the snipers fired AFTER the assassin did. Kind of like having the Zapruder video with people saying they saw men with guns firing from the grassy knoll published in real time.

I am in the UK and I have fired 3 different guns in my life:

An Academic perspective

"Abstract

European imperialism justified itself in terms of a ‘science’ of racial hierarchy with white people at the top. Orwell experienced racial injustice in the East and sought to emancipate himself from racial thinking: he concluded there was no such thing as race, which was ‘the invention of conquering nations’. Nonetheless, while some of his compatriots shrank from Asians as ‘beastly’, he writes with strange enthusiasm about the beauty of Burmese men. The dark suffering face became his recurring metonym for injustice. After Burma he says he was haunted by the ‘innumerable remembered faces’ of Burmese imprisoned, beaten, and condemned: in Nineteen Eighty-Four, the future is a boot stamping on a human face. In wartime, African Americans and Jews joined his list of victims of racial injustice, and he struggled to understand anti-Semitism: ‘the Jew is evidently a scapegoat, though for what he is a scapegoat we do not yet know’.

I just watched this video and, although I was never a sniper like this young man is, I do have some similar training on weapons from my military career. He lays it all out very distinctly, much as I had already thought about based on other reports I had read so far.

I had written an Op Ed earlier today for my own channel to be livestreamed later that will now be revised to reflect what this young man detailed in this interview.

I will be paying close attention to the media from all over the world in the coming days to see how all of this gets spun out.

Will this incident push the MAGA's into the white house and U.S. congress? That may be the existential question on everyone's lips around the world right now and what will that man for the future of the United States and the world at large.

Why have they been after Trump this badly then? Why is this TDS a real thing (I know, I've observed it up close and personal, and not once)?

Expand full comment

I don't know, but it's as if the propagandists have riled up people to the point that they believe Trump is the epitome of all evil and so it's permissible to take shots at him in a crowd. They've created a full-blown mental illness with TDS. And they're okay with that. Must be part of their plan to manipulate and control us?

Expand full comment

So it's not because they're afraid for him to destroy their nirvana, albeit clumsily and unwittingly?

He said "we're in Syria for oil" - bluntly revealing what the US is about. He's after NATO - they're all horrified if he's president again. He's definitely after fixing Ukraine war, and even if he does nothing for Gaza, stopping Ukraine bloodshed is not a small thing, don't you think? And that intent makes the world war cabal's blood boil. It's not a coincidence Orban has been traveling back and forth meeting with Trump, and not with anyone currently in power. Heck, even Maduro sent his best wishes to Trump.

We could come up with some more. Are these not legitimate reasons for them to try take him out? Are they not what current global cabal is fearful of?

As far as manipulation and controlling - they've been doing it pretty well with other means. Trump is convenient to have, but they'd have other tools in his absence. They do try to get rid of him after all.

Expand full comment

So why are they after Trump this badly? Wouldn't you agree that if Biden's brains were blown out then nothing would happen, as his are out of commission anyway? But apparently Trump's matter? Why?

i tried to reply for some reason substack is requiring me to sign in twice--anyway maybe just to destablize shit to the point of declaring martial law. I'm not saying it makes sense, but our "best and brightest" are lost in their own bubble--i dont know what kind of conversations they are having about how to deal with the rest of us, but i take it as a given they don't care what happens to us.

Expand full comment

OK, destabilization. Why is it that it's dealing with Trump exclusively that would achieve that? Why wouldn't they try to eliminate Biden or anybody else sufficiently high up? Or something else entirely if they're after martial law?

That is, why is it exclusively Trump via prosecution/elimination of whom the required destabilization can be achieved?

Expand full comment

im not saying they would be dealing with Trump exclusively. they would eliminate Biden or anyone higher up. Since Trump survived, i'm saying they likely would eliminate Biden exclusively, or whoever else gets in their way. Or both of them. I'm saying the goal is destabilization; that doesn't require the elimination of both--Trump is going to win in all probability now, and I would not be surprised to see Biden have an unfortunate stage accident or choke on his meds. Ari Emanuel the well known Jewish billionaire wants to dump Biden, for example. I expect he is representative of the megarich Jewish donor class, and maybe the megarich donor class in general. Biden and Trump are just their tools, and they are replaceable tools.

How did assassin get 8 shots off?

The timing will get very close investigation. I understand that snipers are integrated with ground crews. One had a headset on. A guy in a BBC interview said he and several others saw the assassin on the roof and were trying to warn cops for several minutes (3 or 4 I think he said). How is that possible?

Expand full comment

"How did assassin get 8 shots off?" - I never heard he made this many. From the sounds alone how can you tell who's shooting?

Expand full comment

I'm relying on NY Times reporting, who relied on an academic acoustics expert.. They said assassin fired 8 shots: a group of 3 followed by a burst of 5. I have no idea who was shooting. But surely the experts will know.

Expert Secret Service marksmen would not take 5 shots to kill a target just 150 yards away.

Expand full comment

They'd more or less land in the same area then. Well, they say one person dead and two critically injured. Maybe by more bullet than one each. Let's see what they say (hopefully) once they investigate.

Expand full comment

Wow!!!

Expand full comment

So what we have is a 20 year old, barely out of high school, used an AR-15 type rifle (outlawed in many other countries including Australia), who remarkably got close enough to make the shot, and was taken out seconds afterward by Secret Service marksmen.

Two interesting points the expert interviewed here makes:

1) Any trained sniper could have made this shot successfully. i.e. He called it a "chip" shot. Which indicates this 20 year old had probably never trained much at all. And from other reports the shooter had not been "rushed", he had been aiming for a minute or two

2) The Sniper Expert also said he wasn't too surprised the shooter was able to get so close. I think that was the biggest takeaway for me from the interview, that it wasn't too surprising you had someone able to crawl on a roof 150 meters away - at least to the Expert interviewer here. To me, that's one of the biggest surprises of what happened - how could the secret service miss someone climbing on a nearby roof??

My own afterthoughts here: at 20 years old, it's easy to lose yourself in ideology and not think very rationally, even if you don't have a history of any type of mental problems. This guy given initial reports, looked like a fairly ordinary 20 year old, no apparent history of psychiatric problems (as of today) - more will obviously be reported in the future.

And it's an AR-15 yet again. I mean, can we get a little stricter control over these weapons? Who the fuck needs an AR-15, other than mass shooters? And I believe in the right to own a firearm.

Expand full comment

If he were taken alive I could almost hear him utter "I'm a patsy". But the interested parties wouldn't want that.

Expand full comment

So you think a conspiracy assassin would MISS the target? Not credible.

Expand full comment

I don't think he was worked with directly, no. Looks like TDS worm was planted in his brain. Planters are all around and aplenty. That was sufficient.

But you never know what might pop in one's head once they're caught and made realize what they did and how their life's prior events add up.

Expand full comment

It will be interesting what is uncovered on this guy. If there are any connections at all to the deep state - any kind of liaisons discovered in his past, look out. But, my current guess is it's just another AR-15 nutjob shooter. But it's only been a day so we'll see. There will be plenty of conspiracy theories. The election though, pretty much over as soon as Trump did that fist pump to the rally and to the rest of us who watched afterwards. Compare that to Genocide Joe Biden's dementia patient routines - and well, yeah.

Expand full comment

Based on his age I'd say he's just totally filled with TDS and it rot his brain. Everybody around him knew it and he would be encouraged by the interested parties to make the next step, without anyone being directly involved. Just steer the fool and allow him to make the move.

Somewhat similar to the guy who shot Fico of Slovakia. Only that one was much older. Just proving the age does not equal wisdom.

Expand full comment

Yes. So those doing the steering - any connections to deep state? Will obviously be investigated now for the next two decades.

Expand full comment

jamenta, A fist pump and a face contorted with hatred, ordering people to fight their own - is that what it takes for the American people to vote for a president?!

Expand full comment

I do not like Trump. I think he is a scamster and a con artist and a warmonger and a phony populist, among other things. But he was very clever with the fist pump, right after being shot at - because many people will see that as a show of strength, and it will work very well against a POTUS who refuses to resign because of his obvious dementia. Juxtapose someone who is clearly being selfish for his own aggrandizement, to a person who appears to have heroically survived an assassination attempt. It's all about the optics and the perception. And IMO, it's all over for Genocide Joe. Unless they find some other way to make Trump disappear, it's all she wrote.

First esoteric point on the flag as wind indicator is absurd. Shot was fired from less than 150 yards, greatly reducing role of wind. It was NOT 300 yards and Trump was not a moving target. I argue flag could have been placed there for photo op.

The shooter was a 20 year old with no training and the photos I saw show no scope on the rifle.

The videos I've seen of the people observing assassin on the roof were when he was DEAD after the fact. The witness testimony (BBC interview) is not supported by video.

Much too much of the other crap is paranoid conspiracy theory that ignores the basic facts, which are a Roshomon: they support both theories that it was an indide job and that it was staged by Trump.

Expand full comment

Trump moved his head. also Brian Berletic thinks the wind was still a factor, and he did receive military training in shooting.

Expand full comment

I like his analysis of security lapses and failures, but I wouldn't conjecture conspiracy theories (or false flag events) based on that analysis (like he alludes to in his video).

People often over-estimate the competence level of experts, academics, intellectuals, organizations, corporations, people in power, oligarchs, etc.. People often seem to believe that "if so-and-so person/organization is one of the best in the world" then they must be competent 'always'. The reality is that failures happen all the time. Mistakes happen all the time (sometimes even by the most qualified and experienced people). Add in the element of randomness and unpredictability - and you have multiple points of possible failure in any scenario/event (even high profile ones).

Unfortunately, most people are unable to come to grips with "normal human folly and stupidity", "inadequate preparedness", and "hubris that leads to complacency, shortsightedness, negligence, and errors in judgement" (especially for high profile/intensity events) - and often go in the direction of conspiracy theories to try to resolve the cognitive dissonance between what they observe/experience and their interpretation /conception of how the world works (or should).

In a sense, many conspiracy theories are an attempt to explain the reality in a way so as to "fit-in" with an already believed/ingrained world-view and system - i.e. making unexplainable observations fit/conform to existing belief systems. If narratives have to change for that to happen, then so be it - whatever resolves the discomfort. (Revisionist histories are a good example of changing narratives to fit dominant/socially-acceptable belief systems).

FWIW: there -IS- a problem on the US Southern Border.

What the cause is; why it is allowed; and what to do about it needs to be examined.

Trump didn't do anything about it while he was President. While Obama was President, cages were prepositioned before the on-rush of refugees.

A "real cynic" (such as myself) might compare this flood of refugees to what is happening in Gaza. Need I remind us all of Madeline Albright's declaration that the murder of 500,000 Iraqi Children was "worth it"?

It isn't helpful to call Trump a buffoon since that merely creates friction with those you might otherwise be able to talk with. An worse, it is a tacit indicator that you support Biden -- even if you don't.

May I recommend a heavy dose of Judge Nap's YouTube channel? His guests will provide valuable insights concerning the neocon efforts to maintain American Hegemony and how every scheme they try just makes things worse -- unless you are a BlackRock shareholder.

We have to look beyond Trump and Biden to understand the war fever that grips this nation.

The real problems in this world largely stem from NORTH of the U.S. southern border.

The sounds of a liberal chirping in the weeds—“talk nice or other people will be upset!” I watch Judge Nap everyday. Your conclusions about who and what I must think show you to be as big a buffoon as T-rump.

flip the script: ban on AR-15's

Expand full comment

Larry Johnson said it was a .22. The kind I used to hunt squirrels with.

Expand full comment

They're all saying that because they KNOW that if it is an AR-15 that will prompt a ban.

An AR-15 fires a .223 caliber bullet, essentially a .22 - but the velocity is very different and so is the effective power when a high speed bullet hits human flesh. It tumbles and destroys organs and bones. A .22 can't come close to that.

22lr and 22wmr tumble as well

There are many numbers of johns waving wads of cash at the whores in power. They’re called oligarchs and they’re all fighting each other for sole ownership of the whores. AIPAC, Zionists, WEF-ies, arms manufacturers, Epstein-ers, ALEC, mafia bosses, CIA—I’m sure you know the usual suspects.
