We’ve managed to get a third podcast episode up! Recording it and making enough time to create it and edit it are skills we’re still developing, but we’ve always learned on the job in this weird little project of ours anyway. Personally I think this is our best one yet:

I had friends in Allepo that confirmed every single thing he said, prior to the interview. It was our illustrious media who once again peddled pure their unadulterated bullshit! LISTEN to what he says and how he speaks. At no point does he NOT answer every single question directly! He doesn't equivocate one iota but especially in comparison to the American politicians. I jokingly said to my friends, Charlie went home and probably lambasted those who sent him - it was clear Assad wiped the floor with him. Every single thing Charlie asked him not only did he respond in great detail - he also proved the lies! I was a bit shocked how Charlie tried to bait him a few times but once again he had answers for every single allegation. There is a reason his approval rating at the time was over 80%.
Same as with Putin. Mainstream America can't think beyond the propaganda. I like him because I listen to what he says and read what he writes. He doesn't lie. Since all our politicians lie, they assume every other leader lies, too. I like Hamas, too. I loved how Assad talked about how are media operates - when it comes to telling the truth and the extent of the egregious lies they spew! It was priceless. No matter how many times Charlie attempted to almost put words in his mouth - he was excruciatingly polite and simply stated the facts and had the evidence to back it up. He also shamed the USA which the Palestinians have also thankfully exposed to the entire world. Charlie Rose was a social climber with no depth. I've always known the facts about Bashar al-Assad. I saw George Galloway for the first time on Charlie Rose where he mopped the floor with Charlie. That's when I knew how great and fearless Galloway is. About Aaron Bushnell, his decision, explanation for it, was so perfect. I was moved by his action more than I could ever express. I can't think of anyone purer than he. Chris Hedges took the line of "supreme madness," but I say it was "supreme sanity" on Aaron's part. I will remember him forever.

We protest every day and will continue our protest for Palestine for many reasons and that doesn’t mean we were indifferent to the suffering in Syria. I abhor atrocities against innocent civilians everywhere. The issue of Palestine is a struggle of social justice against racism, apartheid and exploitation. This is especially so for all who understand the history of Zionism as a political ideology, and a very racist one indeed. Palestinians have experienced massacres and expulsion followed by 75 years of brutal occupation, oppression, dehumanization, unjustified arrests, endless detentions, torture land theft and murder at the hands of their occupiers, the Israelis. Palestinian children witness the arrest of their mothers, fathers and sometimes their small siblings, with no charge, no trial and no date of release. They live in situations where they can not travel on or even enter roads in their own land. People of Gaza have no option of leaving the war zone, because they are under blockade from land, sea and air. That means they live in concentration camp. People in west bank routinely face horrific violence, such as Israeli enter their home in the middle of the night and lock them in a room, sometimes they arrest boys and men, and other times they kick them out and bulldoze their homes, and do that to build illegal settlements for so called Israelis. Against this backdrop, Palestinians have been trying to preserve their land and culture. They are fighting colonialism at its most brutal form. And now the world leaders watch them be killed, maimed and starved to death and they aid Israel to complete its genocide of Gaza. In contrast the atrocities against Syrians were multi folds. CIA armed and supported the Kurds, Assad killed Syrians, Russia, the US and Turkey also all took part in the killing spree, while ISIL was beheading Yazidi, Shiite Muslims among others. Syrians’ suffering can not be underestimated or overlooked. However, let us not forget that Germany alone under Chancellor Angela Merkel accepted 1million Syrian refugees. In contrast, Palestinians are left to die from bombs, starvation, thirst and disease while most of the Western world is arming Israel, and cutting off Aid to Gaza. Added to this is the fact that what is happening in Palestine is a 100 year plans for ethnic cleansing and genocide of Palestinians, setting it apart from other sufferings in other countries . No one in position of power is acting to avert this genocide and many are aiding it. In addition to this being a profit war for weapons manufacturers, the US wants Israel to keep middle east unstable and Israel is the agent of chaos for the US interests. So a bit of context and history may clarify this for you. But most importantly, it is imperative for oppressed people to stand in solidarity with other oppressed people. So there is no reason for people who have suffered wars and famine to express antipathy towards other oppressed people. Long live Palestine, power to the people of Syria, Iran, Yaman, Iraq snd many more. Also power to people who are protesting injustice everywhere. The plight of Syrians should not erase the struggle of Palestinians or vise versa.

In addition to this being a profit war for weapons manufacturers, the US wants Israel to keep middle east unstable and Israel is the agent of chaos for the US interests. So a bit of context and history may clarify this for you. But most importantly, it is imperative for oppressed people to stand in solidarity with other oppressed people. So there is no reason for people who have suffered wars and famine to express antipathy towards other oppressed people. Long live Palestine, power to the people of Syria, Iran, Yaman, Iraq snd many more. Also power to people who are protesting injustice everywhere. The plight of Syrians should not erase the struggle of Palestinians or vise versa.
