Remember the names of all the Zionists (and they come in many different forms) that have supported Israel, the Genocide, and provided PR (and diplomatic cover, etc.) for the PURE EVIL that is Israel. HOLD THEM ACCOUNTABLE! (now and forever).

[PS: This is not about hate/revenge - this is about morality, justice, and making the world right]

Completely agree with you Panagiotis Chatzistefanou! There are some people (here and elsewhere) that have a black-and-white approach to the 'complex emotion that is hate', preferring to admonish/chastise others instead of delving deeper into the many 'nuances of hate'. (Some people do it to display moral superiority, others as virtue signalling, and yet others as a way to shut down debate).

Davina's avatar

Well, maybe tell that to the Israelis. Their hate has led them to killing Palestinians for nothing more than living on their thousands of years of ancestral lands, so they're not staying away from the people they hate - they are trying to exterminate them on a lie, after huge lie at that.

So, how about you go and tell them not to hate Palestinians, and while your there tell them to stop stealing their land and mostly STOP KILLING PALESTINIANS.

It is better not to hate, not least because of what it does to the hater themselves.

But sometimes, the "Can you put yourself in their position" fails, fails entirely.

I wouldn't even starve the perpetrators of this evil crime to death as a karmic punishment, so no, I can't.

Hate can be a reaction to hateful behaviour, and while it's still not healthy, it can be seen as justified.

Expand full comment
Chang Chokaski's avatar

Another aspect of 'hate/hating' that people often overlook is one of 'personal safety/security'. Hating someone/something often leads to avoiding/staying-away-from the 'hateful thing', which sometimes provides a measure of safety/security for the hater. 'Hate' is a complex emotion with several behavioral aspects to it, and requires nuance and context. Too many people write it off as 'simply undesirable' without attempting to understand its uses/effects in different contexts and the interplay with other unconscious emotions/behaviors.

Gnuneo's avatar

Hate makes one dehumanise, are you going to be careful and only dehumanise the specific individuals, or the entire group (Jewish Israelis)?

Does Gideon Levy deserve to the dehumanised fx?

Hatred is a very powerful and dangerous emotion; it can make sense in a personalised context - such and such a person did such a wrong I cannot forgive them - but applied with broad strokes then there is a large chance of psychic harm to the hater, from creating "racism" in them fx, etc.

Until you become the very thing that you hate.

Would you be able to justify the entire Israeli population treated in the same way that Palestinians are being treated?

And before you know it you'll agree with pre-emptive such actions, and then you are no better than the ones you hate.

"You become the things you hate". There is truth in this.

Anger, rage - quite justified. Hate takes you into deeper territory.

I'm not saying I can't see how it would be justified.

But the truly great leaders, Gandhi, Ho Chi Min, fx, they did not let hate - even justifiable hatred at the atrocities they saw against their own people - take over.

A whole Phd thesis (and books) can be written about HATE - and the many dimensions of it. I'm not sure why you're still stuck in your 'black-and-white' interpretation of the complex emotion of hate.

Also, watchout for strawman arguments and assuming more than just what my comment mentions - as you seem to be going off on your own trajectory on the topic of hate and implying/alluding to things never mentioned by me.

A group of ultra-wealthy Zionist oligarchs—primarily based in the U.S. and Israel—have funneled hundreds of millions into funding illegal Israeli settlements and far-right politics. These include:

• Miriam Adelson – Casino heiress funding Netanyahu and settler media.

• Jared Kushner – Trump’s son-in-law; his family foundation funded West Bank settlements like Beit El.

• Ron Lauder – Estée Lauder heir with deep ties to Zionist lobbying.

• Bernard Marcus – Home Depot co-founder backing pro-Israel think tanks.

• Paul Singer – Hedge fund mogul funding neoconservative, settler-aligned groups.

• Haim Saban – Pro-Israel media tycoon funding military and settler narratives.

• Roman Abramovich – Donated over $100 million to East Jerusalem settler organisations like Elad.

• Lev Leviev (not pictured) – Built settlements through his companies.

• Silvan Adams – Billionaire pushing Israeli image-laundering events abroad.

• Kenneth Abramowitz – Venture capitalist funding ultra-Zionist organisations.

These oligarchs use tax-exempt charities and political connections to empower settler violence, land grabs, and apartheid infrastructure — all under the guise of “heritage” and “security.”

Sadly, that same sickness is growng like a cancer on mainland USA and that is the trigger that Israel considers they will use to convert all of America as a supporter of their criminal ambitions. Hence, election fraud, massive donations to rightwing causes, restrictions on free speech, university targeting of students and faculty with opinions other than those espoused by already corrupted University managements,

Just on that subject alone, the penetration into academia by Israelis over the past 20 years is now paying off, not just in the USA but also in other white Western countries, experiencing the same level of corrupt influence and controls.

Very seldom identified and corrected by state structures, always needing funded support to remain in business.

It is corruption such as above that will contribute to their success until the USA gets a representation in the White House which truly meets the demands of the majority.

Unlikely for many years.

Need to move fast on that one, as the insidious parasites of Israel and their puppets in every corridor in Washington are so well organised, planning going back eight decades.

Best example......Trump and his military / industrial cronies. The very image of corruption. Before him.......Biden, an Israeli controlled mass murderer. Before that Obama after Bush. And on it goes.

If they want to assert the photographs coming out of Gaza are rigged then there’s a simple solution to this : let independent reporters and the Red Cross in to evaluate the health of the Palestinians and publish their results to the world. Let UNAWR back in to distribute the food. They have no credibility so they hurl accusations to try to change the subject from starvation.

The fact this little boy had complicating health issues makes their claims all the more deceptive. His condition could have been treated with adequate nutrition, competent health care and a safe environment. The Zionist doctors know this and are counting on the rest of us not to.

Starvation is what killed that child because he needed to be FED a special diet, and that diet included the right types of FOOD.

NEW TACTIC! Time To Pressure Congressional Staff Supporting Genociders

Call your Congressional delegation and tell the staffer: "“I know the money from the Zionist lobby will keep Sen./Rep. _______ supporting the starvation of babies and children in Gaza, but I’d like to make a statement of fact for you and your colleagues to consider. Just as the secretaries and file clerks who processed the paperwork for the weekly deliveries of Zyclon-B for the gas chambers at the Nazi Dachau death camp were complicit with the murder of innocents during World War II, so too, you staffers working today in congressional offices are complicit with the genocide in Gaza. Ah yes—‘pre-existing conditions.’ What were they before, Humana or United Healthcare underwriters? That’s a new twist on the excuses of every monstrous regime when they starve people to death—and a convenient shield for their apologists, so they can pretend they’re not complicit in evil. Maybe the NYT can follow up with a piece on how Auschwitz victims were just chronically malnourished. Funny how, when the politics align, deliberate famine gets repackaged as a healthcare crisis. Eichmann would’ve killed for this kind of PR. You literally cannot make this shit up.

Expand full comment

I am sitting here thinking how ridiculous this whole situation is. I’ve finally cracked the code. The victims of the Nazis and Zionists weren’t murdered—they merely experienced “acute food insecurity in conflict zones.” Just an unfortunate failure of resource allocation and personal wellness management. If only they’d addressed their dietary deficiencies, evacuated from designated “nutritional risk zones,” and enrolled in an IDF Resilience Program™, maybe things would’ve turned out fine. Perhaps Auschwitz just lacked access to resilient supply chains or failed to meet Nazi food equity benchmarks.

But don’t call it genocide—call it a systemic breakdown in sustainable hunger mitigation strategy. Obviously, the real blame lies with the children.
