Your claim is slightly wrong. There's no way to prove that Israel could not have evolved into a normal country. Had Ben-Gurion managed to hang a few settlers like he wanted and 67 not unfolded like it did it might have happened. The correct claim is that *it didn't happen, things are headed in entirely the wrong direction, and there's no going back*.
