This is a spiritual attack on humanity. All religions around the world have warned against these “evil principalities” or “archons, rulers of this material world. Their number one tool is deception and because of that humanity has no idea what they look like.

What's crazy is so many wage slaves have been brain washed into believing life has to be this way, that self-centered greed is the only way a civilization can grow. Americans have been subjected to half a century of indoctrination of the Horatio Alger myth, and the myth they live in a meritocracy. That if they just get rid of the rules and regulations - get rid of any kind of government, and live like lawless criminals, or return to living like Barbarians - everyone will prosper! It's bloody nuts.
If we had people and systems in place that actually prioritized the well-being of people and planet we could be living such great lives on a healing planet.
We could have the best lives, societies and cultures ever. We could have everyone housed, fed and well-educated, becoming our best selves. We could have restored rivers, lakes, forests, and ecosystems.
Instead we're finding better ways of killing each other, destroying the planet and getting more crappy stuff we don't need.
The only problem...well A problem with this is that when people are well-fed and don't have to work as much for that full stomach, they seem directly inclined to jealousy and other behaviors inimical to comity. I think that may be human nature. Maybe need to channel that toward the utopian fantasy.
I think we're fed an ugly story about human nature. When I think of every day life and the way people generally treat each other, I have faith in the goodness of ordinary people.

I can't find meaning in the words read by technology, the same goes for videos or music or writing...the words may be understandable but the meaning does not resonate in the same way a human would read or write or speak. I do appreciate, everyday, that your essays are read by Tim Foley. It is true and a real voice that brings the words, the message (whether or not one agrees) to connect us to a core knowledge that a human speaks to a human.

We're here because too many people seem to prefer dystopia. I encountered a good example today. The NEMO just published that in Qtr 2 of 2026 renewables supplied a record 42.1% of the electricity and wholesale power prices crashed 47%.*
At the same time, here up Dawson Creek (that's the electorate of Dawson) they're holding a public meeting to fight the development of a wind farm. For all the usual bullshit reasons: the view, landowners access rights, property values etc.
Plus one I've never heard before - it might affect GPS that farmers use to run their farms. Who knew that windmills can interfere with satellites in orbit?
I guess that's why the Dutch never invented GPS in the 1600s.

I don't dispute the inequality and injustice the billionaires bring. But everything else aside we are still just too many.
I don't know where you live but I see it evidenced every day. Almost every square of ground has housing on it and still we have a housing crisis (partly caused by Airbnb, granted).
Unfortunately, the problem is indisputable. We are a stupid species and our greed, along with our proliferation beyond which is sustainable, will see us off.
I live in the US. Have traveled from one coast to the other. There is wide swathes of unoccupied land as far as the eye can see. There is more than enough land for everyone still. This is simply an easily observable fact.
There is also more than enough resources and food, if humankind learns to collaborate and cooperate for the common good - instead of serve the greed of a handful of obscenely rich human beings.
For example, Amazon made $77.7 billion in profit last year. A new GAO report found its workers still can't afford food. In the states studied, about 12,350 Amazon employees are on food stamps and 11,340 on Medicaid.
Poverty in the US does not exist because we cannot feed the poor, but because we cannot satisfy the rich.
