There are thousands of Lindsey Grahams waiting in the wings to replace him. The core evil of the US is the system that constantly produces Lindsey Grahams

letterwriter's avatar

And that's one reason we must not and cannot allow the nervous nellies of the petit bourgeoisie with their mincing sense of propriety force us to play at mewling, hushed-parlor pieties in re Graham’s demise.

It is essential that his replacement have a different perspective on war, and to accomplish that, we need to talk unceasingly about how vile and dangerous Graham was.

Another reason we shouldn't ever repeat nonsense such as "it's not good to speak ill of the dead" is because that's a wagonload of superstitious claptrap and we should root out such paranoid impulses wherever they exhibit.

It is good to learn from history and 49.9% of people are worse than average. We must be able to discuss this and their death id exactly when to do this, as that's when the impulse to keep their ideas alive rears its conserving head.

Carol Neilands's avatar

That’s true. LG was created, and the system creates many more each day.

Helga Fellay's avatar

and he let it. The system tries to create countless Lindseys, but no one and no system will ever turn me into another Lindsey, all it will do is dislike the system even more.

We can start by eating the rich and STOMPING OUT Zionism and capitalism. That would be fun. 🧨

Catherine O'Neill Thorn's avatar

And Netanyahoo can fuck all the way off to hell.

Nana Baakan Agyiriwah's avatar

Catherine, I know that's just a saying, "eat the rich" but think about it. Another saying is, "you are what you eat". Do you wanna be that?? How about we give them their own little treasure Island, like in "Lord of the Flies" and see how they fair without us plebs doing all the dirty work for them. Just saying.

Catherine O'Neill Thorn's avatar

But it would be glorious to have our labour be for the good of humanity rather than for the rich to steal for their own wealth—which they use against us. You’re right, I doubt they’d fare well without us. And yet here we are, buying things and paying taxes, as usual 😒

Catherine O'Neill Thorn's avatar

Hahaha. It’s not that literal, it’s from the French Revolution 🤣. “When the people shall have nothing more to eat, they will eat the rich” (anyone in power).

Martin C. Fredricks IV's avatar

While that is true, it doesn't mean Graham and his ilk any less evil or despicable.

This is the "Shared Value" between 'izrael' and the US. 'izrael' produces monsters 24/7.

Basil Rathbone's avatar

But few are as outspokenly evil as Graham, with the exceptions of Netanfuckyou, Ben Gvir, Smotrich and that monstrous clique. And of course Trump, Tom Cotton, Ted Cruz, Fetterman, and a few dozen other swamp creatures. May they all revel in their sins in hell. If only.

Thanks for GL, for bursting my few seconds of jubilation balloon. According to Peter Phillips book Titans, there are around 40 mil. people involved in the global domination gambit. For now, there is always someone to step into a vacated lead role, but we have to start some where. 99.99% of the rest of the globe has our back! Nuremburg the anti-humans!

Maybe millions.

Although it is not good to speak of the dead, one can make certain exceptions if the deceased was evil to his very core and had no redeeming qualities.

why is it not good to speak of the dead? People speak ill of the dead all the time including many historic figures. Would anyone ever say that about Himmler? Just because someone died, it doesn;t mean their life and legacy cannot be discussed, especially if it is was a public servant whose decisions and actions had such dire and horrific consequences for hundreds of millions of people.

People need to be judged for their actions. He was a war monger who advocated for nuking Gaza and celebrated the massacre of the 160+ school children in Iran and repeatedly endorsing the destruction of entire populations and societies. Those aren't footnotes - they are central to his public legacy.

I understand the instinct for decorum, but this isn't genuine decorum. It serves no one. Let's not whitewash someone's legacy just they are dead or even suggest as much in gest. It asks people to soften or sanitize the record of someone whose actions and rhetoric caused extraordinary harm simply because they're dead. That's not respect - it's historical whitewashing. If we can't speak honestly about a person's legacy after they die, then accountability becomes meaningless.

I must agree with you 100%. You have put my point much more articulately. Thank you

They're dead, what do they care.

I won't celebrate until 'Israel' falls. Spectacularly, completely and permanently.

But, it's a start.

Lars Hanson's avatar

That’s the goal. Is it a coincidence that McConnell and now Graham are gone?

Maybe the toilet is starting to flush. These events sometimes happen in threes. If so fingers crossed!

He was a warmonger his entire career. It made him feel like a man. He had to be attached to a strong man like McCain. Trump was chosen after his masculine identity figure died. Trump served this need so well. Alone he was a eunuch so to speak.

The support of Israeli genocide says it all. Sexuality is not relevant except to explain to my brain his linking to strong men. .

unwarranted's avatar

Is McConnell already dead, and that information is being suppressed? If so, that is a measure of regime tenuousness and its repressive power. We can expect only more of the same in the near future.

Lars Hanson's avatar

Good point. If not dead he likely will be soon. I was making an assumption. My bad.

My presumptive diagnosis is that he is in a vegetative state… anoxic encephalopathy. If so it could take a few days for this to play out.

Chico's avatar

Mary, I second that! Spoken straight from my heart.

Lindsey Graham finally did something good for America

Michael's avatar

Maybe there’s a new pandemic that only kills war mongers?

JennyStokes's avatar

OH........I do hope so.

Cynic's avatar

And soon Mitch McConnell will be joining him. Hell is having a party and nope, they won’t the ones enjoying it. They are the ones served as canapés.

Gay Chung's avatar

From your mouth to Satan's pointy ears.

jamenta's avatar

Tell Mitch we said "hi".

JennyStokes's avatar

Thank heavens we will not see his sneering face again.

There are quite a few others who should join him. Victoria Nuland.

Cardiac arrest had right to defend itself against unprovoked terrorist attacks from Lindsey Graham.

jamenta's avatar

How can a person have a heart attack if there’s no heart to attack?

Nick Douglas's avatar

He had a blood/cardiac pump masquerading as a heart.

Saint Jimmy's avatar

He stood for world war, genocide, bigotry, greed, increased poverty, and community decay.

Nick Douglas's avatar

Really difficult to match his "accomplishments". Will be remembered as one of the greatest americunts.

Sue's avatar

Caitlin’s comments are so accurate & she has covered LG ‘s character & actions so Flawlessly for the vile warmongering , violent psycho path that he was … one less psycho in the White House…

But it is a master asshole system that produces asshole offspring.

This made me think of an old classmate from college who shamed me for protesting a man from California living Israel who came to my campus to promote a trip to Israel only months after Oct 7. She was more upset at the fact we flipped him off, shaming his group of attendees rather than the fact there was a man here for Israel propaganda right after its intensified genocide of Gaza. Liberal manners are deeply rotten.

Shortly after Mr Nixon’s death, an editor at Dr Dobb’s Journal wrote this piece of doggerel:

Richard Nixon, scum of the earth

Buried with honours in the land of his birth.

Isn’t it time that somebody said

That it’s not always wrong to speak ill of the dead.

The name "Lindsey Graham" can be snowcloned with equal effect.

A.M.F. Lindsey Graham

Fedup Sheep's avatar

Finally, some good news. Though we all know there's a waiting list of candidates eager to crawl so far up Israel's arse all you can see are the toes wiggling. But let's enjoy these brief moments and celebrate for at least 1 minute.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

I picture Lindsay and McCain in hell plotting to invade BeelzebubLand and subjugating the minor demons there to the service of some imperialist fantasy that only they'd have the twistedness to conjure.

Alex Sachs's avatar

May he have suffered a lot before passing away!

unwarranted's avatar

This sounds like a thirst for justice unquenched.

Chico's avatar

100% agreed. He's dead. His biggest achievement in a rotten life. - Not to speak ill of the dead, I scream "Fuck you, Graham!" "Burn in eternal hell, with the collective pain of your victims!"
