I m not American so I'm not subject directly to its American exceptionalism propaganda. I'm Canadian so we are too close to it for my liking, but can't move the country. I'm also not a conscientious objector in that I think sometimes violence is justified - e.g. resistance to genocide. I would guess a lot of people in the military are not conscientious objectors in the sense you describe. This is by way of asking whether your organization also supports military personal who object to illegal wars, crimes against humanity, violations of international law, and deliberately killing civilians.

I have heard of this referred to as 'the loophole strategy' (or re-interpretation strategy) for the administrations to get their way without facing appropriate legal consequences.

I m not American so I'm not subject directly to its American exceptionalism propaganda. I'm Canadian so we are too close to it for my liking, but can't move the country. I'm also not a conscientious objector in that I think sometimes violence is justified - e.g. resistance to genocide. I would guess a lot of people in the military are not conscientious objectors in the sense you describe. This is by way of asking whether your organization also supports military personal who object to illegal wars, crimes against humanity, violations of international law, and deliberately killing civilians.
