If the US really cared about human rights, our news feeds would be filled with stories from Yemen and Gaza Instead of being the taboo topics that they are.

nor would bonded slavery in public and chattel slavery inside prisons still be a thing. The one good point about shaming China, India, or Russia, is that it's obvious little can be done, so little will be done; where Americans have agency, inside it's own borders, cognitive dissonance must reign supreme.

An old joke where a punch drunk fool punching himself and his nation is the punch line needs updating.

Putin: ‘Well, what did the geriatric old fool say to you.’

Xi: ‘He said that he is going to open up a two-front war while collapsing the American dollar.’

Modi: 'I'll do you one better, they now want a three-front war while starving their own poor.'

We in Canada thank you for the USD 3 Billion that will go to Canadian Weapons Manufacturers and Propaganda Producers in the name of Ukraine. It will go a long way in corroding the little remaining democracy.

The US doesn’t even care about the human rights of its own people for goodness sakes, people dying in this country on the streets every day….the US just can’t wait till there’s even more homeless people dying on city streets, what would they care about foreigners???

Reading Mark Curtis’ book Secret Affairs on U.K. involvement with radical Islamist groups to further U.K. and US foreign policy. In the case of Saudi Arabia we’ve always been happy to walk hand in hand with the regime there as long as it serves our purposes, ignoring the human rights abuses there as well as ignoring the country’s funding of terrorist organisations which we are happy to tolerate until it turns round and bites us in the ass! US should maybe look in the mirror first and deal with its own shit!

Saudi TV, in a first, ran comedic satire on US president, complete with man in drag as VP. From the quality of it, it's apparent this isn't something they are use to doing. https://twitter.com/AsaadHannaa/status/1513681354348716035

That even the Saudis no longer pretend who's 'wearing the pants' in the relationship.

This is a typical sociopath behavior. The wolrd has allowed this schoolyard bully to behave that way for too long.

Amidst all the obscenity, the moral stance the US, West and in particular at this point, Biden is taking and has taken, is completely, fu*king over the top. I gratuitously employ the asterisk as symbolic of the childish and obvious deception of the methods used. Now "they" "suspect" chemical weapons have been used in Iraq, and naturally, the Russians are the suspects, and as fuc#ing inconceivable as this all is, it still works beautifully in the f@cking, so aptly named "playbook", because it again allows for the clownish, "all options on the table", which options we now know they itch to use, God take the hindmost. Of course, they don't include themselves in that demographic - they're too exceptional, and it is that permanent delusional state that makes them existentially dangerous. Because if they act on that chimeric fantasy, it really is all over.

It is time we potential victims speak for all the potential victims, including those who have moral and existential rights but can't speak up, and collectively send them a message: "You malign agents of death, we don't believe a word you say: you are full of shit, have proven it time and again, and you don't represent us, the human inhabitants of this world whose responsibility it is to stand up to you, now."

I was particularly concerned about Russia's use of Chem Weapons in Mariupol yesterday. Three, yes, not one or two but three! Azov Nazis have reported slight chestiness and dizziness. (which is pretty much how I feel every morning) Liz Truss the UK Foreign Secretary, said if proved (the UNSC is on it and very troubled by the atrocity) she will be calling on the US to deploy the 173rd Airbourne (which I will be calling for too as I wheeze out of bed tomorrow morning in Tottenham, London...bloody Rusky's!)

And the mosquitos are dropping off in alarming, atypical numbers. I've noticed the same phenom here, well not the season yet, but I could bet on it-sooner-or... later. I don't think 173rd are up to it. This is B-I-G.

I saw a picture of Mariupol after the clean-up, and it had a pretty sad aura, whatever happened, but all of this could have been avoided had the US and Britain, especially, but the EU and others as well, had the good will and decency to avoid what made this unavoidable. And all set in a bed of lies. I only know one thing for sure: Russia had no choice in this, but what is the excuse for Iraq I and II? There is none. I saw a picture of an Iraqi mother who had seen her children blown up by a missile - disappeared before her eyes. That was suffering.

We talk about certain things, and others are verboten - as they used to say. The US encouraged the Marsh Shia to rebel against Saddam after the attack - and then turned on them and mowed them all down with firepower!!. Something like the way they encouraged Saddam Hussein to attack Kuwait which was slant drilling its oil and would neither stop nor pay for it: three times he asked US diplomats, and three times they answered - it was no business of the US - which it wasn't.

And before that, Yugoslavia - because evil of that magnitude has a mystical and historical connection - all embedded in a nest of hypocrisy and sleight-of-hand law. A magic trick, and it's all AOK, either before or after the fact. Surely the principles are criminals, the Bushes, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Clinton, Obama, all their advisors, co-rulers and New World Orderers?

If anyone can believe any Western authority after this - and so much more, they must see things I do not. And never will.

BACK STORY: "They care about peaking OIL PRICES for the oil lobby". Shhh.......what REALLY p**d them off was the drop in oil prices from India's miniscule purchase with Russia. They apparently have the ability to set marginal prices at whim per customer! World be damned!

Someone ought to tell Antony Blinkin that we are monitoring HIM and, so far, his social credit score is in the red.

"the world's two most populous nations uniting with the Russian nuclear superpower in the emerging bloc of nations who are rejecting absorption into the US-centralized power structure would be disastrous for the empire"

and short of catastrophic war it *will* happen. It's about as inevitable as gravity. That's what's so weird and creepy and inexplicable about all this, it's not just that these people are evil, it's that they seem utterly stuck in a strategy from 50 years ago

Track the careers of any of the foreign policy senior staff surrounding Biden (and Obama before him) -- some of whom go back to George HW Bush, most go back to the Bill Clinton administration -- and re-read the Wolfowitz Doctrine from 1992; they're nothing if not consistent. Christopher Hitchens had been calling this out going back to Clinton, Blumenthal, and Talbott's (British) university days. Guess we have been fooled again, shame on us.

Yes, I talk about that with Victoria Nuland in Escape from Azkeban. Taibbi writes about "Wolfowitz and the rest of the Risk-playing adolescents in the neo-con treehouse," which I though was brilliant.

I had to look up that reference but laughed so hard when I did! You're going to love the fly my daughter photoshopped onto Nuland's head from this description of Dolores Umbridge, Secretary to the Minister of Magic:

"When they entered the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom and saw Prof Umbridge in a fluffy pink sweater with a black bow on her head, Harry was reminded of a large fly perched unwisely on top of an even larger toad."

I try not to be mean but when someone's plotting nuclear armageddon to one-up her husband, we can make an exception, right?
