Rubio neatly pirouettes around the fact that the very same groups who "ignored and ridiculed" UFO witnesses for decades are now a reliable source of information about them.

The levels of bullshit here are perilous, and we're all without boots.

"Direct mention is made of the possibility that UFOs could be highly advanced Russian or Chinese technology."

This is patently jingoist. The suggestion of a "possibility" of something is made only for distraction and fear mongering.

"UFOs "pose a hazard to safety of flight" and could be a national security threat."

There is absolutely no evidence to support this statement, anymore than there was for Russiagate or Syrian Chemical Weapons attacks. It is just made up for propaganda purposed.

Caitlin, you hit the nail on the head once again. The Military-Industrial-Complex is now so desperate for more war and more money, they're using UFOs and maybe even their own secret technologies to make up crap about alien threats. Or worse, Russian and Chinese threats. These psychopaths won't stop at anything to carve the heart out of this planet and anyone else that may live in this vast incredible universe. Their new adorable term, UAP, is a psyop to make the idea more swallowable for UFO skeptics. XFiles nerds and geeks need not apply to the Rubio fearmongering agenda. Only sophisticated realists deeply concerned with national security and all those cluttered skies threatening our jet-set tourists will be able to swallow Rubio's pile of crap. We're about to go extinct from climate change, do these morons have nothing better to do?

I've commented the same blinken twit that you rtw and now im in blackout, the words Assange and Guantanamo were in mine response, this is worst than 1984. Yes we could use some UFO's and intelligent aliens to force this US empire to the right track of history.

I fear for Caitlin Johnston. She is the Socrates of our time. Just as Socrates development of personality was shaped by an abusive spouse, so was Johnston's. She is like a Vulcan among us asking pertinent questions. Please do not mistake me, I find no fault with her reasoning. The virtue of her argument is self evident in each case. Her reasoning shines the light of truth and so exposes the falseness that would otherwise hide in obscurity.

We humans are in a long period of transition from omnivorous apes to conscious self-governing apes. Some aspects of our collective personality must be selected against. Our militarism for example. In order to emerge as reasonable inhabitants of this planet we must give-up the armies, navies, air-forces and all attendant weaponry.

We need to accept the reasoning of Caitlin Johnston and all like her. She must prevail.
