Yep, and Caitlin has apparently absolutely no clue how expensive it is to live on Hawai'i - even more so when you no longer get 174K a year for being a member of Congress. Her husband as freelance photographer also does not make much money. So shee needs the job!
You're human, just like all of us here. I too was fooled by Tulsi Gabbard (until 2021), Obama, Clinton, Fetterman, and so many others. Once your eyes are awake (as they seem to be now), you'll start look for signs of deception in ALL political leaders (regardless of ideology) - and that is a good thing!
I suspect that in the beginning she was probably honestly anti-war, but once she'd been playing the political game for a while and saw what rewards honesty provided rather than its opposite grabbed for the gold instead.
The honorable thing for Tulsi to have done when Trump said "she is wrong" would have been to quit. What you said Caitlin, "Fuck this asshole, fuck Trump, fuck Israel, and fuck the US empire."
Tulsi still can act as a pacifying influence on Trump. She had to mea culpa to stay on his team for the perception of unity. Better her than John Bolton. If she quit she could have no influence on Trump. Sure, it's a bad look for her but we don't know the inner workings. We'll see how it plays out. Calm heads must prevail and the leaders of Russia and China are very calm, so WW3 is unlikely. Meanwhile, for your viewing pleasure watch The CJ Werleman Show: https://youtu.be/TdhKRfP-O4o?si=oot-C3lW7hXwwMhj
no, that is their game. tulsi had one job, that is to quit and make a ruckus if they'd manipulate or ignore the intelligence on foreign conflicts to start a war. she blew it.
She would have been ignored if she quit. Tucker Carlson is against US intervention and so is Candance Owens and their platform is huge, but will it influence Trump? It doesn't appear so. But at least sovfar the US hasn't fired a shot, even though they have supported Israel with intelligence but its not working.
Tres Wiseman:
Former U.S. Marine and ex-weapons inspector Scott Ritter has stated that Iran has dealt Israel a devastating blow.
The port of Haifa has been turned into rubble. Ben Gurion Airport has been badly hit. Gas facilities have been destroyed. Multiple key targets inside Israel have been struck. And this is only what is being shown to us—much more is being hidden.
The Israeli Air Force can't even safely take off from its own airbases. That's why it is relying on British-controlled military bases in Cyprus. This situation is likely to deteriorate further in the coming days.
The Iron Dome, the defense system that the U.S. spent billions of dollars developing, has become ineffective. The missiles that are being intercepted are only the ones that were meant to be intercepted. Iran has modified its decades-old missiles in such a way that they confuse the defense system—forcing it to engage decoy missiles while the real ones hit their targets successfully.
The U.S. now lacks missiles to supply. Officers in the Asia-Pacific Command are now questioning: if tensions with China rise, how will we defend ourselves? Everything has been sacrificed for Israel. Even an aircraft carrier like the USS Nimitz has been moved to the Middle East, weakening the defense posture in the South China Sea.
The President’s talk of a "Golden Dome" is nothing but a dream. The system they're proposing to spend $175 billion on doesn’t even exist yet. And if it does get built, it will take decades and cost trillions of dollars.
The problem isn’t just with the system—it’s with the leadership. The inexperience and ignorance of the President is being paid for by the Israeli people, and no one feels sympathy for them, because of what they’ve done in Gaza over the past year and a half. Thousands of innocent Palestinians—women and children—have been killed, and the world remained silent.
Now Iran’s response has been precise and targeted, but Israel continues to bombard indiscriminately. In a single building, 60 people were killed—including 26 children. Yet the world stays silent.
This is the same Israel that claims to have the “most moral” army in the world, yet it is committing the worst atrocities. They attacked Iran without any legal justification. International laws, United Nations regulations—all were trampled.
Iran was preparing for a nuclear agreement. It had offered full cooperation with the IAEA. It was even willing to allow American inspectors. But the American President betrayed that trust. Iran thought things were moving toward peace—but behind the scenes, their entire negotiating team was assassinated. People like Ali Shamkhani, who tried to bring Iran onto the path of peace, were martyred.
This was all done to catch Iran off guard. The attack was as secretive and baseless as Pearl Harbor. And we Americans were the perpetrators of this crime.
The worst part is that the people orchestrating all this are clueless, foolish, and reckless. The President is surrounded by no serious or wise advisors. He takes advice from people who treat war like a game. And the whole world is paying the price for this war.
Scott Ritter says that Russia has made it clear: it will not strike first. But if the U.S. uses nuclear weapons on Iran, Russia will target Europe. This threat is real. And the sad part is that the American leadership is unable to comprehend this reality.
All of this happened because of the President's weakness, selfishness, and untrustworthy nature. A man who keeps talking about peace, but then wages war under pressure—is neither a leader nor a man, but a weak, emotional, and deluded person.
Whatever little hope the world had was kept alive by those leaders who wanted to build a new future in the Middle East based on trade and development. But the American President has crushed even those efforts.
Scott Ritter ends with a question: where do we, the common people, stand? There is no protest, no movement. As if we’ve all accepted this injustice. We have collectively failed.
the future potential ignoring does not override the actual ignoring and treasonous 180°. i'm aware of the things tres wiseman is reporting.
pearl harbor being secretive and baseless is still up for debate, imo. there's other perspectives worth considering.
the us and european elites do not care about russian nuclear strikes on europe. the us would even welcome it. russians should know by now that only a direct threat on empire's warmongering elites wherever they're hiding, can function as 'deterrence'. although the case for collective failure can surely be made, it should never mean giving up. tulsi's not quitting, is quitting the greater cause to obtain self-preservation, though.
(also '... so far the US hasn't fired a shot ...', yeah, they're as innocent and uninvolved as a sniper-spotter.)
Yep, power certainly seems to attract the wrong kind of people. Or maybe the wrong kind of people are attracted to power MORE than normal people? (I'm thinking both).
Chang, it has always been so. A$$holes are always attracted to power as they don't have other qualities. They will lick behind and kiss the ring and follow the "leader" until they get into position of power when they can oppress those below.
They’re really going to ignite WW3 with total bullshit. It’s unbelievable. At least in the lead up to Iraq they had the specter of the 9/11 false flag to beat the war drums to. This time it is pure, naked subservience to Israel, laid bare for all to see. I’m speechless.
No. I don’t believe it’s about US subservience to Israel. Israel is a protectorate and proxy of the USA. Israel and much of Congress is catering to the agenda of the same Zionists and AIPAC.
Due to a combination of great Zionist/AIPAC propaganda and profound public ignorance, millions of Americans don’t know the difference. Millions of Americans don’t understand that not all Jews are Zionists and vice versa. Millions of Americans also don’t understand that not all Israelis are Jews.
israel OWNS the US lock, stock & barrel. They purchased the US sovereignty immediately after 22 November 1963 when they "removed" the obstacle JFK. All this BS about israel bein a proxy is a diversion for the sheeple to keep them from figuring it out. israel is the controller. They put their headquarters (AIPAC) in Washington DC
Not going to argue against Israel dominating or even running U.S. Middle East policy but the U.S. Empire is a lot vaster than the Middle East. What you are saying would mean that Israel is behind everything from Vietnam to Nicaragua to ICE. That's a very far stretch - but I'm willing to listen if you can provide some convincing evidence.
The US controls approximately 750 military bases of various sizes in at least 80 countries worldwide.
Literally thousands of US private corporations have operations, worldwide. Politicians may argue that those military bases exist to protect US “interests” in those countries. Perhaps they do and perhaps there are other motivations. If those military installations really do exist to protect private US companies’ “interests”, those companies and their shareholders should be paying for such protection, rather than engaging in legal or illegal tax avoidance.
If the Zionists are indeed controlling this game, I would also like to see the evidence. Roger Lambert may be on to something of critical importance.
At various times throughout his political career, Joe Biden publicly proclaimed himself to be a Zionist. As the POTUS, VPOTUS and US Senator, Biden apparently supported/promoted the Zionist agenda. DJT apparently also supports the Zionist agenda.
Until I have compelling proof of a global Zionist conspiracy (which is still a Nazi theory in my book) I'm considering these people pro-Zionists rather: their interests happen to coincide with Zionism, without it being their main framework or agenda.
Unfortunately, we live in the Age of The Sellout, where money and status so dominates and corrupts everything that nobody anywhere near power is willing to tell the truth or do the right thing. I think they implicitly understand how ruthless inequality is in America, and are willing to do whatever it takes to stay on the gravy train.
She also said on Twitter and I quote : "Many ask about the gray streak in my hair. I started to gray in that spot during and after my first deployment to Iraq — and I’ve chosen to keep it as a daily reminder of the terrible cost of war, who pays the price of war, and the importance of peace." She should know better! Shame on her!!
CJ>>"“America has intelligence that Iran is at the point that it can produce a nuclear weapon within weeks to months, if they decide to finalize the assembly."
Yeah, just like how the U.S. had 'credible evidence' that Iraq had WMDs. 😵
To the U.S. Empire, the 'nuclear capabilities' of Iran seem to be a secondary concern (and not immediately relevant). Just like in Iraq, this is a REGIME CHANGE operation being conducted by BOTH the U.S. and Israel. BOTH U.S. and Israel have wanted a regime change in Iran since the overthrow of the last U.S. puppet leader in Iran.
The reason this is happening NOW is because Israel knows that it can get away with ANYTHING (due to the support of the U.S. Empire during the ethnic cleansing and genocide in Palestine and recent actions in Syria, Yemen, Lebanon and Jordon). I would NOT be surprised if Israel decides to use NUKES on Iran - nothing about Israel suprises me anymore.
WHEN will the responsible countries (I'm looking at China here) step in? Will they?
"1. I would NOT be surprised if Israel decides to use NUKES on Iran
2. WHEN will the responsible countries (I'm looking at China here) step in? Will they?"
A question I was hoping someone could answer. Such as where is Russia in all this? Now apparently so close to the megalomaniac Trump. But is he really?.
Putin's lack of attention and support for Iran right now has killed him off in my book.
But the subject of precious metals rings in my ears, A commercial venture? Trump, Putin and Partners Inc also incorporating large parts of Ukraine. Possible?
Ukraine possesses one of the largest reserves of critical minerals in Europe. Out of the 34 elements that the European Union considers essential for its economy, Ukraine holds 22, including lithium, titanium, graphite, and several rare earth elements such as neodymium and erbium. They are crucial for producing electric vehicle batteries, magnets used in wind turbines, electronic devices, and defence technological equipment.
Think on that for a second.
Many of these deposits are located in regions directly affected by the war. Luhansk, Donetsk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson—four regions annexed by Russia in 2022—holding approximately 53% of Ukraine’s mineral reserves. Moscow’s control over these areas has hindered Kyiv’s ability to exploit these resources, limiting its capacity to attract foreign investment and develop its local mining industry.
Add in the past........
We know about Trump and Epstein, but could those halcyon days of passion on the Little St James Island also have included Putin? It certainly had Clinton as a "guest" and Trump as well, very unlikely for him to have been only actively involved in playing golf. when other items were on the Little St James menu. He does have something of a reputation. Right?
No C33, I'm not buying your conspiracy theories about Putin. Epstein et al. are irrelevant here (in the context of Trump or anyone else).
You seem to have a particular bend towards conspiratorial thinking and conspiracism (I've noticed). Too many red herrings. Too many 'anything is possible' scenarios. Too many 'connecting of disparate/coincidental/low-importance' tokens into 'hopefully a theory that makes sense' here. Too much 'patternicity' (Patternicity: Finding Meaningful Patterns in Meaningless Noise -> Why the brain believes something is real when it is not -> https://www.scientificamerican.com/article/patternicity-finding-meaningful-patterns/).
The 'minerals/metals' in Ukraine are NOT a NEW discovery. People have known about it for decades. Also, OIL seems to be MORE important to Europe than minerals/metals (AFAIK). Hence, the disruption caused by a 'war with Iran' will have much larger consequences (globally) than ANY amount of minerals/metals in Ukraine.
Just a sidenote but it can't be stressed enough that being in the Epstein files is NOT an excuse for anything. If that's the reason someone doesn't prevent genocide or ww3 (whether Trump or Putin) that just proves that they are a horrible individual TWICE - first for doing whatever perverted stuff they did with Epstein and then for letting thousands die to save their own skin.
Too many of this and too much of that., Chang? This is a period of far too many things happening that have never happened before. Once upon a time one could respect a Western leader as truly representing the people he/she "managed". Not any more. Is that a Meaningless Pattern in Meaningless Noise, or a red herring or any of the other descriptive phrases used above.
Take Germany, As far right as one could ever be in that country since the 1940's. Like Japan, they are now prepared to have military call-ups and Japan is now re-arming..Onc one could rely on statements made by individual leaders, but now in Europe we have NATO, a consortium of countries itching for a fight. The sooner the better.
Time will tell. These are not normal times and one is almost able to say without any fear of contradiction (except by some), that so many things are happening that have never happened before. Those very same actions attracting support from so many countries that have always been seen as democratic. No more. Decisions being made that are likely to cause upheavals among the populations,……..as in the UK.
That PM is extreme.....and favouring every aspect of Israel's genocidal pursuits. Never a question. The people, however, do not agree with him. Prepared to demonstrate like never before. Then there is Canada, France, Australia and New Zealand.
Holland recently....what a turnout that was, the biggest ever and on it goes. USA and almost every other country. Normal times? Hardly. Red herrings. Really?
By the way. Someone should tell Trump that oil is not more important than minerals especially as he has Saudi Arabia as a partner and friend with Gaza, just around the corner. Surely it is important who it is that controls the minerals/metals? The current games in play and the requirement for such minerals never before taking on such importance in this ever-increasing technical world. Of course, I am also probably completely wrong in this assumption.
The alternative to all the above is that things are OK in the world and all that is happening is no different to what it has always been.
Putin was at economic summit yesterday with South Africa looking very happy. I think he foresees the decline of the west and the rising of BRICS and their economic vision. In short he’s going about the things that interest Russia and BRICS and investing very little in the folly of the west at this moment.
Or this could all be a trap for the west (USSA and Co.). We don't know what is going on inside and between Iran, RF, China, etc. I have have strong intuition that the west will fail and israel will ultimately disappear. My only worry is that so many innocent civilians, so much blood, so much sadness, and so much violence will precede that. The other alternative is we all die.
We keep hearing about these traps at every stage of western aggression, but they never seem to happen.
It is abundantly obvious that there is no eleven dimensional chess, no master plan just dithering and indecision from leaders who hope the problem will just somehow go away.
You may be right. I said we don't know. It would be really suicidal for RF and China to let Iran fall. But the battle is still not over. Iran is more powerful than many think. And so many unknown unknowns. Empire may win but it will be pyric win leading to its collapse. So, we don't know.
Gabbard has always been a fake charlatan and so many of the supposed far left "radicals" thought she was a real comrade. People need to check into her background. She was raised in a far right quasi-Christian Hawaiian cult, which is why she has that streak of dyed white hair, which has some kind of symbolic reference within the cult and has gotten broader since she was appointed to her current grift. Both her first and second husband are in the cult.
She's an evil hypocrite. Always has been. Always will be.
I fully agree with your closing comments, Caitlin.
I am fucking done with this iteration of this country. D.O.N.E.

Key point, Martin. Double scumbaggery hardly an excuse for anything.
Back to sleep, everyone.
Putin was at economic summit yesterday with South Africa looking very happy. I think he foresees the decline of the west and the rising of BRICS and their economic vision. In short he’s going about the things that interest Russia and BRICS and investing very little in the folly of the west at this moment.
The Russian leadership in general is timid and indecisive.
China lacks force projection and Russia seeks, not to end the West, but to join it.
This is foolish, as the West sees Russian indecision and smells blood.
Caitlin, I believe Tulsi is putting her tongue to something more than shoe leather. Think “up”.
Some folks have very talented tongues, I guess, gyp, my dear.
Vin, I don’t believe it would even require much “talent” 😉
Gabbard has always been a fake charlatan and so many of the supposed far left "radicals" thought she was a real comrade. People need to check into her background. She was raised in a far right quasi-Christian Hawaiian cult, which is why she has that streak of dyed white hair, which has some kind of symbolic reference within the cult and has gotten broader since she was appointed to her current grift. Both her first and second husband are in the cult.
She's an evil hypocrite. Always has been. Always will be.
I fully agree with your closing comments, Caitlin.
Mad respect for all you do; I think you might need a vacation from all this. Take your mind off the madness for a few days and reboot.
From a friend.
People tell me this every time I express any kind of emotion. I'm fine. Feelings aren't dangerous.
Yessssssssss. 🔥
I am fucking done with this iteration of this country. D.O.N.E.
At this point, I don’t care whether we are ruled by a revolutionary council of socialist midget circus performers, as long as they are honest and peaceful…. and I’m not kidding. People are getting to this point.
JOBS, LIVEABLE WAGES, RETIREMENT, HEALTH CARE, NO MORE MOTHER FUCKING WARS.
