"There’s actually a very healthy explosion of Israel hatred."

Indeed. It's an appropriate reaction to a livestreamed genocide. Boy George is a psychopath if he has the opposite reaction to the murders of innocents.

Davina's avatar

With some people money is what brings them happiness, and israel is willing to pay anyone who's willing to say any nice thing about it. Boy george is not getting much publicity, and israel will pay US$7,000. That's a lot when all your getting is onaTV series that has past its use by date.

I have a hard time taking seriously what any "man " wearing makeup has to say about anything.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

But you'll take a "woman" seriously wearing makeup? What if she chooses to not wear makeup--is she not "serious" then? You need to get past the outward appearance and into the heart and soul of the person. If they're okay with genocide, it doesn't really matter what their makeup use is, right?

After reading Caitlin's review of "Earth's Greatest Enemy", I bought it from Vimeo so that I could share it. It should be required watching for every politician and CEO who is part of or who supports making money and more money. War and more war. Especially for Americans and Israelis, but really, for everyone. It is not an easy, fun watch, but it is the sad truth. I have been thinking about it all day. Trump and all those too afraid to call him on his insanity are directing the US military and supporting the Israeli military thereby being complicit in the destruction of the earth.

JackStar's avatar

Susan it's definitely an eye opener,l had the privilege meeting Abby Martin on Monday night at her screening of her movie at our local cinema. Everyone needs to watch this movie, i've shared the link to all my friends...lets hope they watch it.

Trump and his hordes are deconstructionists. In the worst way. Psychopaths on steroids.

And Boy George dosent research.

Bibi and maniacal Zionists instituted every psychological program they could manufacture to ensure Hamas attacked.

Ginnie's avatar

Nah. With Trump the US finally got a president and leadership commensurate with its spirit: vulgar, greedy, hollow hucksters worshipping wealth while possessing neither wisdom, dignity, or substance. He is not an aberration but a perfect expression of a culture drunk on superficiality, obsessed with status, indifferent to truth, and incapable of distinguishing genuine achievement from gaudy spectacle - one where superficiality is mistaken for success, wealth for virtue, and selfishness for strength.

His greed is surpassed only by the ignorance, cultural barrenness, and moral shallowness that elevated him. A society consumed by consumerism and self-interest looked into the mirror and saw this thing staring back. The relationship is almost poetic: a phony leader for a phony culture, each feeding the other's worst instincts in an endless cycle of arrogance, stupidity, and decline.

Chetzmom4's avatar

Yes, and these people- Trump's Red & Blue Team PEDOE PROTECTORS- actually still use phrases like "Family Values" or "Our Values as Americans."

Could They explain WHAT those Values are? So far as I can see...

"Family Values" means breaking up families, making it harder to even have a family!

"American Values" appear to be being a Goy-SLOPP Gobbling Peasant who is blind to PEDOE Billionaires & Technofascists, who want Americans as Breeders & Cannon-fodder Soldiers for the GREATER ISREAL PROJECT.

Boy Gorge hasn't been relevant since the fncking 1980s.

Way to torch ANY warm nostalgia feelings anyone had for him or his music. Go out as a Defender of GENOCIDE. Hey Boy George, why tou defending the #1 SAFE HAVEN 4 PEDOES ON EARTH- Mizz Izzy EPSTEIN!

Dual Citizenship has its privileges.

If the US Senate votes for the current NDAA (National Defense Authorization Act) there is a new provision that FUSES the US & Israeli Military.

It ALSO will ALLOW ISRAEL TO MAKE LAWS IN THE USA.

IF the US Senate passes the NDAA, a Foreign Power can create a law in the USA to begin rounding up ANY Antizionists... jail or DEBANKING disruptive Goy PEASANTS.

THIS is what is happening to Americans, and MOST do not even know it.

I notice the vulgarity increasing daily. Both dump and some representatives have begun using the F-word openly in Congress and in interviews. It's massively inappropriate in these settings.

Peter Sawchuk's avatar

It's a common phenomenom, using profanity when you have nothing of substance to express.

John Mann's avatar

In any setting . . .

David's avatar

If you want to understand what is driving America into the chasm try to join any conversation in a social setting. The talk is of the mundane and trivial and if you try to discuss serious issues i.e. social reform you will get a blank stare and be diverted to a comment about the weather. No wonder the nation is in dire straits it needs to look itself in the mirror but all they will see is the Ugly American.

Ginnie's avatar

Oh, absolutely. Any serious conversation that actually tries to dissect something in a meaningful way gets you laughed out of the room. You're immediately written off as a sourpuss or a debbie downer who is just so mean and negative - and those are the charitable responses. Most of the time you're branded an "extremist" who is unfair because you refuse to see "both sides" and won't hand out participation trophies to people driven by greed, cruelty, or naked opportunism. Apparently "seeing both sides" means pretending every position deserves equal moral weight, no matter how indefensible it is.

Most people are blue pilled and they like it that way. There is no curiosity there, it's been replaced with reflexive tribalism and critical thinking gets treated like a personality flaw. The irony is that that intellectual complacency helped pave the way for Trump and the political mess we're living through, and they still dont get it!!

John Ressler's avatar

Spot on comment - thanks for being aware & conscious.

Just Sayn's avatar

That is the very reason we are indoctrinated to believe it's not polite to discuss religion or politics. The very subjects that need discussed. Discussion not argument. However any honest discussion of Israel could result in a Charlie Kirk moment, or arrest, imprisonment.

David Baird's avatar

Damn right, Cal. Boy George is a child. Still. Pathetically thick. The scales are actually falling from the eyes of people around the world, despite the best efforts of NaZionist propagandists. Given the utter misery inflicted by the IDF over decades, if you don't hate the State of Israel, you're a fucking psychopath fellow-traveller. They've spied upon, blackmailed, and bought, and used more politicians in 'friendly' countries than anyone could have thought possible. If Israeli Jews don't want to be hated, they might think about not electing representatives whose whole existence is malign. They might perhaps realise that their ardent desire to wipe out, or exploit, the goyim, is not making a lot of friends these days. It's simple - the more Israel's genocidal behaviour continues, the more justified the hatred of them becomes. If Jews around the world don't want to be hated, started screaming at your mother-fucking mother-country!

Heroes needed. Caitlin Johnstone is one of them. Who is yours?

Susan T's avatar

Actually, I think heroes are not needed. We all need to be fighting the fight and not relying on heroes. Once someone gets to be a hero there is all this adulation and cowtowing and others end up diminishing themselves as they pay tribute to their "heroes". That is not to diminish Caitlin. She is with us, fighting. Gathering information. She does not need to be worshiped, I don't think. Admired, but not made into a hero.

jamenta's avatar

You see, guys and gals want to be heroes. So they go out and search for that fire breathing dragon. They ignore all the stories about how nobody has come back from the dragon's lair. They go in there - planning to be a hero - and then get eaten alive. It's gruesome! And ... the end.

You want to know why there are so few heroes? Because the dragon ate them.

When I was a younger cat, the following quote was attributed to one of the Sex Pistols:

"Kill your heroes before they get a chance to embarrass you."

Regardless of the provenance of this quote (I never have been able to determine it), it seems like eminently good sense.

Those who need an object lesson can look at that dipshit Bono.

shamana's avatar

Whats wrong with Bono?

John Turcot's avatar

“Kill your heroes before they can embarrass you”. …. has to be the strangest concept I’ve ever read? Probably as convoluted and paradoxical as it gets…, even Trump wouldn’t be able to fathom that tidbit?

Feral Finster's avatar

I always thought that it made perfect sense.

How many times have you met your heroes, only to find out what schmucks they are? How many times have you listened to someone you once admired and thought "Just think, I used to have that idiot's picture on my wall!!?"

John Turcot's avatar

That’s an interesting rabbit hole. I must admit that my personal ‘hero’ list is pretty small.

In general terms, no one is without some hang-ups of some kind, so maybe placing them on a pedestal might a disservice from the start.

A hero for me would be someone who finds a way to get rid of nuclear weapons, save the environments of the planet from further destruction, and wise enough to suggest ways with which we can live together without war..

As you can probably attest from my unrealistic expectations, that list of names is not likely to get any ink.

shamana's avatar

there are many heroes, working away quietly in the background to save the planet and we can live together in peace there are models of communities there are so many good people working on all these issues we just need to scale them you need the money to scale them before it is too late

A confused animal can be the most dangerous, often striking out

unpredictably, out of terror, or disoriented. A link in Caitlin's article led me to this: the US/Saudi attack on Iraq, "The US and Saudi Arabia launched major airstrikes in Iraq overnight, targeting the Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF), a coalition of mostly Shia militias formed in 2014 to fight ISIS." So now the US supports a former ISIS.al-Qaeda leader in Syria but is bombing (killing 20) a militia formed to fight ISIS.???

It gets more confusing. Trump said the attack was coordinated with Iraq" but Baghdad strongly condemned the strikes, with Iraq’s National Security Council saying they “resulted in a group of innocent martyrs and wounded.”

It gets murkier: "The attacks were launched over claims that Iraqi militias targeted oil infrastructure in Saudi Arabia, though Yemen’s Ansar Allah appeared to take credit for the attacks, and the Islamic Resistance of Iraq, an Iran-aligned Shia coalition that includes PMF militias, denied responsibility."

So those who claimed credit for the attacks on Saudi Arabia, a designated terrorist group (the Houthis) are ignored while a branch of the Iraqi government that Trump claims gave permission for the attack is bombed: The Popular Mobilization Forces (PMF) as a whole is an official Iraqi state security organization, and it recognized by Iraq as an official independent governmental security force under the Prime Minister, receiving state funding.

So what we have is the US is now at war with Iraq,

and thy say that only mad dog and Engishmen go out in the midday sun.!

Summary: Trump having trashed a well-established nuclear plan with Iran, in his mission to undo everything that upstart Obama had accomplished, has

attacked Iran with no plan nor exist ramp just in time to goose

up gas prices, the obsessive metric by which Americans judge politicians and on which they vote, and losing the strategic war on Iran, having killed and destroyed but leaving the new harderline Iranian regime in a commanding position and the US stockpile of weapons so low they are allowing Iran missiles to destroy billions worth of planes

and bases, without firing them down, in a kind of premature ejaculation orgy, now limp.........and now, like a bull confused and full of rage, Trump has attacked our ally Iraq, in a blind fury ( The Epic Fury war against Iran now a lost cause and the November elections with them, ) striking at friends and then lying about it.

If you are not a US citizen, you have no idea of what torture we are experiencing with this malignant con-man with a lust to murder in charge of the sinking ship of state.

Also, when this “promise” was made, was it made in anticipation of a kingdom? Or a democracy? Or just an ethno-state?

Asking for a friend.

It's about the common spiritual premise you find in many different religions of keeping faith and hope alive. But it's not suppose to be interpreted in literal terms. It's just a story, a parable. That's what these fanatical, blood dripping freaks don't get.

I’m not a biblical scholar but I have read the whole book. One belief (I guess you would call it that) is absolutely the ancient nomadic tribe of Israel was promised the land we know as Palestine and God likes them best and they can do whatever they want to hang on to what they want. This probably worked out well for them several thousand years ago — I imagine life was plenty brutal and it was handy to have a brutal God backing you up — but it’s time to update to reality.

There is more than the written artefacts. There is the study of its long series of writing and editing and its hindsight narration from very long time. It has grown to accumulate enough verifiable or criticable data to paint a ruling classes attempt at syncretizing many existing nearby beliefs and stories of devierse organism and diverse branching. This pattern exist also for zoroastrism and many other stories that managed to survive the many ruling classes successions (civilizations in the grandiloquent sense)

I think this is a human story telling practice gone scriptures and gone idolatrous of the very written objects and literal word choices absent of the reality knowledge of their various political meddling and sociological constraints of the writing professions and survival per same type of top down control of “the narrative “

Religons might have managed to evolve past literal reading of the scriptures but politics ideology and modern ruling classes do like to go back to them in selective and bad faith usage ways

“Trump Inherited Peace Deals But Torched Them For More War”

The headline, tweaked a bit, actually goes back much further, one notable stopping point along the rocky way being Dumbya, who inherited a budget surplus, and lost little time in squandering it in tax cuts for the have-mores, and self-anointing himself a “war time” president (complete with a bust of Churchill in the Oval Office) with the circular logic of his invading Iraq and Afghanistan, war crimes. He left that as inheritance for those who came after him. But neither international law, the budget, nor the Constitution mattered to him, a distinguished alum of Harvard Business School.

Boy George. Oh, boy… Some time ago he made a big to-do (i.e. publicity ploy) saying he had six months to live. The reason was never clearly explained, some suggestion due to his drug addiction, in which case seeing as that pretty much comes with the territory in his line of work, not much one can say other than, “Gee. Tough s***.” So the reason for the announcement more likely had to do with flagging publicity and loss of interest in him, in any event he didn’t die. But he has kinda gone well past his sell-by date nonetheless.

“This right here is why we’re being force-fed so much hot garbage about ‘antisemitism’ these days. You’re being told there’s a dangerous explosion of Jew hatred to cover up the fact that there’s actually a very healthy explosion of Israel hatred.”

The final published version of the Balfour Declaration in 1917 ran to only 67 words, its consequences still unfolding to this day (July 2, 2026 marking the 1000th day of genocide in Gaza). In 2026, here in just 42 words, Caitlin has economically, and quite unequivocally, laid out one of them. What is that they say about “what goes around…?”
