But there is one flaw in your argument re the UK parliament’s proscription of Palestine Action and mass arrests of elderly people holding handwritten cardboard signs. Long before that the UK authorities were harassing, arresting and invoking the Terrorism Act 2000 on independent journalists who were exposing Israel’s crimes against humanity and the activities of its supporters. Germany and other European countries were also engaged in similar actions. This was not known among people who rely on corporate media because they never, ever mention it. So the proscription of a direct-action group was a watershed moment for the Western world, but only because the mainstream media blackout could no longer be maintained.
