Hegseth : Never before have I seen a public figure display his/her depravity so proudly. How doth the world at large feel about this utter lack of any morals, a pure pursuit of self interest at the expense of everyone else, this naked reach for evil world domination? The Trumpists even share that barbaric war-worshiping religious cultism with the Nazis, referring often to Christianity but never to the teachings of Christ.

Compared with Hegseth, Joe Stalin was a peacenik.

Philippa Rees's avatar

Yes, insane levels of delusion from the US inner circle. Just as insane as our rabbit-in-the-headlights Starmer. He lacks the resources to do what Hegseth is promising but his support of genocide and aiding Netanyahu with spy flights and intelligence is only different in scale, but just as evil.

Humiliating, isn't it? To find this once respected country ( the one with all that literature, and Newton and Shakespeare, Turner and Blake and and and...) governed by the midgets trying to elbow for the front row, when the 'big boys' are in town?

Susan T's avatar

Humiliating is the least of their problems. They are demented and with even less morals than they had before.

Veronica Baker's avatar

To be honest, I'm seventy one, I can't ever remember a time when our government and military had any morals, they got lost a long, long time ago.

Philippa Rees's avatar

I meant the humiliation is ours! They are all beyond shame, or guilt, or honesty. You need any one of the three to be humiliated!

Susan T's avatar

Rage is more fitting that humiliation in that case.

When there is no other justification, “religion” gets invoked. I guess this is what happens when muscles develop and brains don’t.

Bhavana Lymworth's avatar

Remember the first presidency, with all the gatherings in the oval office and all the laying on of hands? That looked super weird and creepy. This post makes it clear that that was child's play...

The U.S. population is periodically subjected to video clips in the media of Pete Hegseth working out shirtless in the gym — Robert Kennedy, Jr., too. It’s like a cult thing.

It's the kind of performative masculinity you get from insecure little boys.

The whole timing etc; of firing on Iran was ritualistic and very free masonic. Fired the first shot at 3:30 and Trump had a white cap on, wearing of white head gear on certain occasions is a freemason thing.

Then there was the date, 28th, the 11th day of Ramadan and of course it's the ninth month on the calendar in Iran. 9/11 which makes the murder of all those school children a ritualistic sacrifice to their Lucifarian God.

Veronica Baker's avatar

Our military jets are shooting down Iranian drones so as far as I am concerned that's offensive not defensive.

Though offensive in more ways than one. One of our British pilots was bragging he'd got first kill, thankfully he was only talking about a drone.

Feral Finster's avatar

Yes, what does anyone propose to do about it? Hegseth is proud of this.

Might as well try to shame a wolf by calling him a "predator".

MadWorld's avatar

L. Graham does a pretty good job displaying his depravity.

I think Trump’s former followers have been some of the most vocal and determined opponents of this war.

Trump owns the slaughter of school children and the killing of a young women’s volleyball team, and the assassination of Iran’s supreme leader, but it’s worth remembering that this war was part of the Wolfowitz Doctrine to cement a West Asian stronghold for Israel and the American Empire. That was formulated over 20 years ago, and hopefully Iran’s resistance will be a sign that the Israeli cabal in Washington is losing traction.

Between Epstein and this war, the whole Washington cesspool of Zionist loyalists has made the U.S. government a front for an extremist, largely foreign faction. The American people are the dupes, and agent orange is the grand dupe.

But this is the overt and unambiguous realm, and the U.S. is under the yoke of intelligence operators of whom Israelis are well represented. Just as the Democrat Party is indistinguishable from the Republican Party in all geopolitical and military matters, the treachery of Mossad and the treasonous strategies of the CIA are of the same cloth.

The house of lies is being exposed, and America’s reflexive maneuvers, i.e., destabilization, regime change, bombing and killing, these are the means by which the Empire is being seen and its illegitimacy is being recognized.

I am hoping that America’s declared enemies, Iran and Russia and China will remain vigilant and I hope Americans will recognize that those designated enemies are the only ones who can force the rogue government here to be mortally wounded.

The US has WMD. Iraq never did. The US has nuclear weapons. Iran never has. The US is responsible for more death and destruction across the globe than any other nation on Earth. The US is the largest weapons manufacturer by far. The US has the largest military budget in the world. The US has the largest prison population, hands down. The US has the most grotesque wealth and income inequality by far. The US has one of the highest maternal and infant mortality rates among industrialized countries. Can anyone imagine a more lethal, toxic, pathological cesspool of a country?

Helen Londe MD's avatar

Not to forget that Israel also has nuclear weapons.

Brianna Amore's avatar

The US also has the biggest problem with toxic religion infesting our own government than any other nation other than Islamic nations.

Chinelo Furlow's avatar

Absolutely nailed it. The USSA is everything that it accuses Iran of being.

Feral Finster's avatar

The difference is that the United States is strong. Iran in not.

Because they don't actually believe a word of it.

Why isn't it terrifying everyone?

John Ressler's avatar

Great question. Here are a few of my observations. Americans have been lied to for their entire history and many STILL believe what they were told - many are waiting for elections so the Blue liars can take power and do nothing to change things - a lifetime of drinking the Red / Blue kool-aid - many think all of this is gods plan. Thank you.

Pippi Smythe's avatar

"Americans have been lied to for their entire history and many STILL believe what they were told "

We are taught to be wary of such lies, and power consolidating. Plus there is too much evidence of past lies. Willfull ignorance is not defensible in law. They will lose their freedom permanently for their ego to be right? Suicidal.

Certainly terrifying me.

Veronica Baker's avatar

That's exactly what they want, I don't like bullies who make people scared so I refuse to let them terrify me. I do feel sick at heart for those who they are attacking, disgusted by their depraved behaviour, and them saying "Trump has been anointed by Jesus, to usher Armageddon in" just shows how low they've gone.

Because so many of us are distracted and/or overburdend with bills and just trying to make ends meet. The Fourth Estate has been taken over and corrupted by right wing billionaires so that they can control the narrative to fit their needs, and interest. We don't get the news/information we need to make informed decisions, we get infotainment. Because so many of us are trapped in the rat race, we have very little, if any time to devote to Civics, which BTW, we haven't taught since Reagan got rid of it in his first term. What downtime we have is consumed by amusing ourselves, as in Neil Postman's brilliant book titled "Amusing Ourselves to Death".

Today people live in their own little bubbles, disconnected from the outside world which is exactly how the ruling class wants it. It's not until something affects one personally, that one reacts. "The war with Iran, not my problem, too busy with work or I'd rather be chilling with my friends playing video games". We're not taught Civics or Critical Thinking for a reason. We're just given bread and circuses to keep us ignorant, and pacified.

The only things you can discuss in social circles in America are sports, Hollywood and trivia. Try discussing a serious issue and you will get silence or some wag will say "it's a nice day out there" and change the topic. There is no freedom of thought in America.

Veronica Baker's avatar

Sounds exactly like England and a majority of the people.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I agree with you on how most people react, thankfully there are still those of us who do still care very much about those they are attacking.

"demented religious zealotry". That's the clue to much of this.

As a pagan, I say f*ck all these traditionally brainwashed cretins who compete for the title of best and most powerful cloud being, competing for that "honor" through the horror of homicidal war — and a justification list predicated on which religion's fanatics have historically murdered more widely and efficiently. Again, to hell with all of you delusional a-holes. Murder is murder, whether it's initiated in the name of some vaporous deity, celebrity, or your pet snake.

🇮🇶 Secretary-General of the Sayyed Al-Shuhada Brigades in the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, Abu Alaa Al-Walae:

To the American people,

Trump and Netanyahu have seized your democracy, taken your taxes, and sent your sons into hell after convincing you that an imminent threat was looming over you. The truth is that the only real threat is your president turning into a puppet to fulfill Netanyahu’s desires under the slogan “Israel First.”

You should take action as soon as possible to reclaim your country and prevent the bloodshed of your sons. Trump and his administration are lying to you. What is happening right now in the Middle East is a tragic waste of your human and financial resources. Even the Gulf states, which for decades believed they were protected by U.S. bases, have suddenly discovered that they are merely advanced outposts for the zionist entity and must now provide safe havens and escape routes for their soldiers.

Now is your time. The faster you act, the more you can protect your future, which is now more threatened and uncertain than ever.

Veronica Baker's avatar

He's spot on. Thank you for posting that.

Some will. Hopefully not too many 🤞🏼

To TPTB and the immoral power players - they will always ignore the wishes of the majority who want to live peacefully - same as it ever was. For fucks sake, the good guise Democrats ran a candidate that supported genocide and expected that we'd vote for them anyway - the good part is that many, like myself did not - the bad part is the convicted con man Orange won - hence, we and the world lost.

U$ is not even close to the “great” Satan who was a rebellious “angel”. No you are the demons Jesus threw into the pigs. And Americans? we are guilty for letting this continue. Massie seems to be the only congress person fighting for us. Standing alone against the current filth in America’s politics!!! As we sit on our asses and let the filth attack and threaten him for is righteous stance. We continue to vote into political seats corrupt filth into our congress and state legislators and, well, filthy billionaire/epstein class and devotees. We are relying too heavily on agencies and nonprofit organizations and the judiciary to do the right thing “for us” while we make a mess in falling for the 2-party corruption and the likes of organizations like RNC/dnc to show us our best corrupt options! Somehow we’ve allowed PAC $$$ and billionaire $$$ into our politics! We slept on all this and now we pay or fight.

"This would be the same Pete Hegseth who was mentioned in a recent article by Jonathan Larsen titled “U.S. Troops Were Told Iran War Is for ‘Armageddon,’ Return of Jesus”, which reports that US military commanders are telling American soldiers that they are on a mission from God to fulfill a biblical prophecy and bring about the end of the world."

Much I could say here, but I'll spare everyone the tedium, except to say, "Jeez-zuss Khee-rhyste!"

The Democrats, the “opposition”, are acting despicably in this situation. Lots of them are fully on-board with zionist sado-fascistic, expansionist, aggression. Some are cynical about it and are ok with it because they think it will be a disaster for Trump & the GOP come the mid-terms. With a dwindling number whom are against it and fewer yet still willing to openly, albeit nervously, speak against it. Where are the “Anti-War” protest movement? A week didn’t go by without a protest against Bush’s “War on Terror”. Everyone knew this was coming. They’ve even more-or-less given up on the pro-Palestine marches. At least in Britain there are ongoing, monthly, protest marches and demonstrations outside the US embassy and Downing Street. Starmer even felt the pressure enough to publicly deny permission for U.K. situated US bases to be used in offensive operations against Iran.

Helen Londe MD's avatar

Yes, Trump is a gift to the "good" old conventional corrupt Democrats who receive bribes from AIPAC and run on "we're not Trump"platforms.

Veronica Baker's avatar

We all know there's no "opposition", just different ways of handling it. I may be English but when the book Project 2025 came out I bought it and slogged my way through it. So back in June 2024 I knew Trump would win because I remembered him mentioning Project 2025 towards the end of his first term.

It's all going very much to plan and unless something drastic happens to stop it, the people at home in the USA have a lot more to go through yet.

Here in Lincolnshire where I live we have been told to ignore all the heavy traffic as the airbases here are practicing Operation Agile Warrior 26, against home invasion so we are told, knowing our military that means away invasion.

Feral Finster's avatar

Right has nothing to do with it.

Feral Finster's avatar

It's not backfiring at all, much as I wish otherwise.

The US enjoys air supremacy and is able to fly all over Iran at will. The number of Iranian missiles fired is decreasing as the Americans hunt them down.

Iran was foolish not to have attacked first, while thee were American AWACS sitting in neat rows on Saudi airfields.
