I think when they say they don't want war they mean they want instant and full compliance with their every whim globally. "We didn't want to bomb you, but when you don't give us 100% compliance we just have no choice," seems to be the subtext. Much like an abusive spouse claiming "You see what you made me do?"

One of the myths of America is that we love to fight. We love to murder, not fight. We drop bombs from high-flying bombers or launch missiles from hundreds of miles away or guide drones across another nation's landscape to slaughter a wedding party or force the Ukrainians to lose a generation fighting the Russians for enrichment of our weapons manufacturers and access to their resources and land. None of that is fighting. As with all bullies, the U.S. is cowardly, craven and self-centered. We kill for profit and to give our hollowed out culture the delusion of purpose and courage. America is anything but courageous. I have never been so ashamed of this nation.

The mad dogs have been at war for 220 of the last 240 years. There is no better predictor of future performance than past performance.

The march toward Full Scale War against Iran & The Axis of Resistance is now inevitable:

Nobody believes the Empire of Lies when it says 'we don't seek war,' Men of the Resistance know very well that such a Vile Beast can only be expelled via Force, & that is precisely what they will do.

Newspeak is here. Basically the exact opposite of everything "the government" say is true.

Hitler insisted that he didn't want war until literally the very end.

Closer to home, the United States claimed in pious tones not to want war with Iraq, even as it was obvious that it was seeking any pretext to wage aggressive war against that country.

No, they don't want to fight. They want one-sided attacks. They want full compliance, with just enough profit-generating attacking, preferably done by proxies. I do think there will be no widespread resistance to this in the US until some sort of draft is proposed, and death gets more real than what is carefully curated and shown on mainstream media.

War is peace. Peace is War. The Lying Lady is the empire's whore.

Yup. Our leadership's behavior is consistent with that of a malignant narcissist. Gaslighting and projection combined with abusiveness and chilling absence of moral conscience.

100% pure asshole.

As I have said many times, the US, being a bully, just loves killing people and causing destruction. It loves making money out of selling arms and reconstructing nations. Halliburton, which is a worldwide company in construction had as its CEO Dick Cheney while he was Vice-President. Defence Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was accused of completely taking over control of construction at Halliburton in a $7bn contract for oil and infrastructure in Iraq. US leaders are entirely tied into major US corporations: the two Bush presidents were put in place with Texas oil money. I am sure there are countless other examples of this. The big US oil companies are derived out of one company, Standard Oil owned by J.D, Rockefeller which had complete control of Middle East oil at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries. The Rockefeller wealth was derived from plantations and, therefore, the use of slave labour. This is, indeed, the source of a lot of UK wealth as well as providing the wealth for the Founding Fathers. It is still obvious these families treat anyone who is not one of them as a commodity to be used and abused at will.

The empire of lies is based in and operates on the deceitfulness of the lies told, it seems that the more outrageous the lies are the more rewards are given to the various faces behind the plastic masks. They obviously have a standard set of talking points that sell the narrative with a common set of lies that must be designed to confuse, mislead and distract the audience from the truth of their actions and plans.

The lies in the empire are not restricted to war of course: we have, "2 weeks to slow the curve", "vaccines are safe and effective" and "Epstein killed himself" - all obvious lies that are reinforced to hide the guilt of those in power.

"They wear a plastic smiling mask and pay lip service to peace while operating the single most aggressive and murderous power structure on this planet."

You know, the "peace mask" isn't covering much, is it, United States? Unless you invest in a "full body mask" and cover up your fists and your kicking legs, there's no way you can ever fool everybody into thinking you're seeking peace. The absurdity and the surreal nature of the US State Department's and the Pentagon's and the White House's press conferences just can't be covered over with a cheap plastic smiling mask and fake words of concern. Remember the old adages: "You shall know them by their actions," and "Actions speak louder than words." Make actual moves toward peace and shut down the war machine or just stfu, will ya?

Calling news headlines news is an absurdity ..

If Orwell was alive today he would kill himself out of beeing horrified of what he sees as the manifestations of his worst nightmares come true.

I'm sickened by it myself. I'm also sickened by how many people fall for it.

Or are in on it.

It seems our manifest destiny has become our extinction event...
