Caitlin, we're all grateful for your "trip". We wouldn't be here on THIS journey with you otherwise.
Your ability to put into words what most of us have felt since October 7 (and earlier) is an art that most people cannot master. But it's something you should be proud of.
You may have been naive at one point (as we all were), but now all of our eyes are wide open.
Like you wrote yesterday, people cannot unsee what they've seen.
It feels very much like we're living through the Matrix, but without the obligatory Hollywood ending.

"The onus is on the party committing genocide to stop committing genocide. The onus is not on the victims of the genocide to sign agreements in the hope of saving themselves from the genocide. This is obvious to anyone who isn’t a psychopath"
We're in 2025, and the fact that this needs to be said defies all sense of comprehension.
Caitline writes "I just kinda felt my way through the human experience as the barefoot hippie earth mama that I am, and it carried me to a clear intuitive understanding that the western empire must end and that capitalism cannot carry our species into the future."
The Western empire is based on capitalism which brings power for only a part of us.
In my already longtime opinion this should and will collapse. Maybe with Trump ?
>>"In my already longtime opinion this should and will collapse. Maybe with Trump ?"
I hope so. I've been attempting to explain to people how Trump is killing America (and the rest of the world of course) from the inside - i.e. internal implosion. Trump is also doing what he can (unknowingly and unintentionally) to kill Capitalism (due to the self-cannibalizing nature of capitalism).
Those that truly understand how Capitalism works understand the dynamics and relationships between numerous variables here, while those that don't refuse to 'open their eyes' to see the changes happening right in front of their eyes due to the policies, actions, and behaviors of the Trump administration.
Yes, it was sheer madness and chaos. There are NO winners with his ‘tariffs’ craziness. Everyone loses (including him). But Trump’s too stupid/dumb to realize this, and his enablers all have their own agendas.
I think/hope so too. All I know is that humanity (and the world) is in DESPERATE need for some help. If there ever was a God, NOW is the time to show up and right some grievous wrongs perpetrated on so many humans throughout the world by those in positions of power (and wealth).
The collapse of the USSR was not peaceful; it was accompanied by bloody wars. In some republics, wars are still ongoing. Similar wars will occur in the United States, as Washington will never voluntarily grant freedom to the states. However, the states will not only fight against Washington; they will also engage in conflicts with each other over land and natural resources.
I feel like all the talk of Trump's and Netanyahu's peace plan is concealing the fact it is actual a piece plan - Trump gets a big piece, Israel gets a big piece, and the Palestinians get screwed.
That is exactly what I was thinking, not peace; pieces to be shared with the supporters of the genocide, who should actually be standing in front of the CCC AND CCJ.
The vand their accomplicies should be made to rebuild the homes and businesses their complicity or support that allowed to be destroyed, including the Arab states that did nothing to help, even after Israel bombed the meeting place of the pretend peace talks
Well said. The "piece" plan, rewards the occupiers and those who enable it, while further disenfranchising the victims of the ongoing genocide and further denying them their rights, dignity and sovereignty. What a shameful "peace" plan
I wonder if it isn't more like Trump gets a huge piece, Bibi gets all the rest, and the Palestinians get totally screwed, or just wiped out completely.
This peace plan is based on a poison pill, namely continued Israeli occupation with Gaza remaining a prison, with exit and entry controlled by the IDF. In addition, the naval blockade, which prevents Palestine from developing its 1 trillion cu ft of gas in the Gaza Marine is, by definition, an act of war, which undermines the lable of Peace Agreement. And as Israel blocks humanitarian aid by sea, that makes it a war crime.
The purpose is to present a plan that demands that Hamas surrender, disarm and give up all hostages so it has no leverage at all, leaving Gaza totally in control of its prison guards. The puurpose of the poison pill is to know that Hamas will reject, which will rationalize intensifying the genocidal attack on Gaza.
It's a set up to justify the"final solution," which is to kill more people and make Gaza so unlivable that ethnic cleansing will become a "life-saving" operation, since Gazans will be faced with leave or die.
War is a racket ISmedley butler wrote in 1936) and Netanyahu and Trump are just two con men with a phony deal designed to blame Hamas for the war and continued genocide.

LIVERPOOL, England (AP) — Former British Prime Minister Tony Blair has returned to the forefront of Middle East peace efforts after a U.S. peace plan on ending the Israel-Hamas war cast him in a leading role in overseeing the post-war administration and reconstruction of the Gaza Strip."
"It’s familiar territory for Blair, who spent eight years working to promote peace between Israel and the Palestinians as the international community’s envoy to the Middle East."
"His decision to step down in 2015 was seen as a reflection of the dire state of Mideast peace efforts that devolved further under the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu."
"The U.S. proposal — which President Donald Trump and Netanyahu said they agreed on after talks at the White House on Monday — would put Gaza’s territory and its more than 2 million people effectively under international control, deploying an international security force and installing a “Board of Peace” headed by Trump and Blair to oversee the administration and reconstruction."
"Hamas said Tuesday it would study the plan, both within the group and with other Palestinian factions before responding."
"This feels like kind of a confession"......but from where I sit, you have nothing to confess. You got here. Many never do. During the Vietnam war when I was in Paris, I met a lot of Vietnamese people who were there studying so they could go back to Vietnam, get the Americans out, and run a communist government. Up until then I was oblivious to the fact that we are lied to about what is actually going on in the world. Unbelievably, I actually thought that we lived in a democracy where those with power cared about who they governed. And I thought we were saving the people in Vietnam from communism. Little by little, I have come to the place where I am now, which is mostly a place of no trust at all in our so-called system of democracy and in our so-called "leaders". Well, actually, I often feel confused and incredibly sad because I am really worried that there is no real hope. Either climate change or war will get us all. So now I use the spiritual practices (mostly meditation)I have also learned over the years to try to cope with this reality.
Allow me to help you on your journey: "Climate Change" is a lie too. Perhaps you aren't "meditating" correctly if the best you can achieve is "coping with reality"
Yep. All is well with the climate. These elevated temperatures and all the forest fires are just natural change. I know. You must be right. Thanks for the reminder
agreed, i am doubtful the occupiers would ever abide by the rules and wouldn't just go back to committing genocide once the hostage exchange was made under this "peace" plan. They have already violated the ceasefire whenever they chose previously during this genocide
Two white supremacist Nazi scum presuming the authority to decide the fate of Palestinians is not just repulsive. it's a grotesque display of colonial dominance. This isn’t diplomacy. It’s raw, racist power. Any plan that excludes Palestinians and hands Israel, the settler-colonial aggressor,, any measure of legitimacy is not just invalid; it’s a deliberate continuation of ethnic cleansing. This is white imperialism at its core: colonizers arbitrarily determining the lives of the people they’ve brutalized. There is no justification, no neutrality, no legitimacy here , only violent, racist fraud. What a transparently fraudulent move. These genocidal mass murderers need to be tried in a Nuremberg style court and punished for their crimes, not get to decide on the future of the people they are genociding. What an obscenity.
what do you mean what can anyone do about it? Maybe some elected officials can have half the spine Thunberg has and actually arrest Netanyahu, stop sending arms and work together to put a stop to Israel and try these people in court instead of hiding behind flowery rhetoric while a teenager goes out there risking her life trying to make a stance in the face of such imminent danger. The answers are not hard or complicated, they just require integrity and spine, none of which elected officials in the West have. We all know why they US is owned by Israel. And European nations are mostly vassal to the US. But that is all a choice at some point.
"My job as a westerner is to oppose the western empire that is butchering them, not to finger-wag and moralize at the empire’s victims."
Exactly. We can't judge what we're not experiencing. It's time for westerners to stop acting like they have to "parent" other cultures who are too childish to take care of themselves. It's time to check that arrogance.
No one but the Palestinians should be asked about what they want for their future, and no other country has any right to tell them what they should do, or persuade them into doing something that will hand their ancestral homeland to a bunch of lying usurpers who will destroy it into some plastic playground for bored rich people whose silence or support destroyed what was once a beautiful Eastern gem - until zionist liars decided they wanted to rule the world. Drumpf is in fact in for one huge surprise if this continues. He will be handed a few million, patted on the head and told to have a nice funeral, which shouldn't be too far off.
Trump & Netanyahu's peace plan in reality amounts to first of all the final solution for the Palestinians which is the genocide and chopping Gaza into little pieces of real estate including gasfields, which reminds me of Cheney's carve up of Iraq's oilfields.
No, your tax money is not going there. Your tax money goes for other things, but not for 'spending by the Federal Govt.' (Check out MMT - Modern Monetary Theory)
Dude - maybe first learn how taxation works before you speak such. The U.S. is not 'any' Govt. Any country that has sovereign control and monopoly of its currency (like the U.S. does), can print money as and when it needs it for spending purposes (like the $6 trillion for Covid and God alone knows how many trillions to bail out the banks during the financial crisis).
You think the current U.S. Debt (which is $36 trillion) came from a lack of taxes? You think all these trillions of spending on Covid and bailouts magically appeared from taxes out of thin air in an instant? Think again. The debt increases when the Fed prints money for spending purposes. Taxes are used for multiple things (like controlling inflation, etc.) but NOT for spending money by the Federal Govt.
Read and learn about how the U.S. Banking and financial system works (instead of believing narratives and talking points proferred by politicians and others).
So you're a moron then. Since you talk about U.S. taxes without knowing anything. Again, you are still VERY WRONG - as what I described is how Central Banks work - in the U.S., Canada, in Japan, in Australia, in MANY countries that have sovereign control over their currencies.
Do you understand what that means? Or do you just enjoy talking about things you have no idea/understanding of?
Of course, people like you don't like learning anything new or understanding how systems work. You just like to SHOUT whatever you believe - whether that's how it really works or not.
CJ>>"And I just found the whole thing baffling. I mean, why were these people ever attracted to the left in the first place?....."
Caitlin, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND for you to read the following book -> "Conspirituality: How New Age Conspiracy Theories Became a Health Threat" (https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/62874269) that talks more about the SPIRITUAL INDUSTRY and its confluence with Yoga, fascism, capitalism, conspiracy theories, pseudo-science cures, spritual beliefs, etc. and EXPLAINS the why/how of it all.
Here are some relevant quotes ->
(1) "Right-wing politics have always been more deeply connected to back-to-the-earth notions of natural living, bodily purity, spiritual heroism, and intuitive prophecy than is commonly acknowledged. This doesn’t mean that the majority of modern yoga and wellness people are unconsciously right-wing. Rather, it means there is an obscure pathway linking the appearance of progressivism to some very reactionary impulses."
(2) "Within months of COVID-19 erupting around the world, it was clear that the practices of disaster capitalism as described by Klein could be adapted to create an equally ruthless dynamic. In disaster spirituality, a real public health crisis, or a fictional moral panic like QAnon, can become the basis for an evangelical call to spiritual renewal. Whereas the captains of disaster capitalism seize distressed assets for privatization, the charismatics of disaster spirituality seize the attention and emotional commitment of their followers. That attention is then funneled into monetized networks that sell spiritual and wellness products focused on individual well-being (or smugness) as opposed to the common good. As a result, the consumer is left even more isolated and unprepared for social stress."
(3) "Disaster capitalism and disaster spirituality rely, respectively, on an endless supply of items to commodify and minds to recruit. While both roar into high gear in times of widespread precarity and vulnerability, in disaster spirituality there is arguably more at stake on the supply side. Hedge fund managers can buy up distressed properties in post-Katrina New Orleans to gentrify and flip. They have cash on hand to pull from when opportunity strikes, whereas most spiritual figures have to use other means for acquisitions and recruitment during times of distress."
(4) "Most of the influencers operating in today’s conspirituality landscape stand outside of mainstream economies and institutional support. They’ve been developing fringe religious ideas and making money however they can, as they battle high customer turnover."
(5) "True believers of conspirituality turn legitimate critiques that can be addressed through democratic policy making into apocalyptic crises that can only be solved by miracles. They’ve found a compelling storytelling machine that amplifies their passions. They layer and embellish their stories through online feedback loops that build trance states."
The authors also have a podcast where they share many of their experiences (which I believe are similar to the ones you have had). [https://www.conspirituality.net/episodes].
Except that there was no 'real health crisis' at all. Only a pretend one that they (industry interests) made out was created by globalists forcing us to be social minded, to be compassionate and vegan and to herd us into 15 minute cities. The spiritual wellness that was sold on the back of the fake crisis wasn't yoga or mindfulness (which are actually very beneficial), though I admit it was smugness and selfishness in the adoption and promotion of carnivore diets (which are beneficial to big animal ag and big pharma), support for fossil fuels and sneering at environmentalists. I don't see this as anything to do with spirituality or conspirituality- it's just business for powerful cartels who used reverse psychology to make out something was being taken away to make people want it.
Read the book, listen to the podcast, educate yourself. There's also YouTube videos and PLENTY of material - so there's NO EXCUSE for you to be so mis-informed (and attempt to double-down on being wrong).
(BTW, these aren't my opinions - they are the REAL LIFE experiences of the authors of the book)
Well done, Caitlin. It takes a long journey to detox from dreams and illusions, from theories disproved in practice to a new worldview, from ideologies to an awareness of reality, from failed solutions to the conception of previously unthinkable solutions. Despite being well-informed since childhood, it took me 70 years. Now I know what I don't know.
I can relate to that growth of the soul and, the many disappointments when some were found wanting and money was more the ideal than the spiritual journey. Many friends departed along the way as happens when change happens that don't feel where you should follow. The hippie era came too late for me -- all that free sex would have put me off anyway - shudders - was already on my spiritual journey physically after reading everything I could find about spiritual and growth, until I found a group that fit and thst has stood me well although I have moved away from the area. My instinct has also stood me well, or as friends like to call it: going my by my gut feeling. And that is why I subscribed to Caitlin and Tim's posts, giput instinct.
Work? I never considered it work, that was something one does to earn the money too feed and house oneself and children. You would obviously find it very hard work having no understanding to "work" from. Watching you try, now that would be hilarious
CJ>>"I’m seeing a lot of purportedly pro-Palestine voices proclaiming that Hamas needs to accept the deal in order to end the genocide."
Caitlin, my opinion is that NO SANE pro-Palestinian would suggest such a thing (after everything the world has witnessed over the last 2 years and the behavior of the Zionists). This is likely more Israeli hasbara and pro-Israel/pro-Zionism/pro-Genocide trolls attempting to gaslight others.

The Nazi "Israel" must be disbanded.
I'd just add "and held to account too."
Half of the Western World should be held accountable, including the main instigator of wars, the United States.
Yes, indeed "round up the usual suspects."
For that to happen, it seems like the Nazi "America" might need to be disbanded too!
Caitline writes "I just kinda felt my way through the human experience as the barefoot hippie earth mama that I am, and it carried me to a clear intuitive understanding that the western empire must end and that capitalism cannot carry our species into the future."

that may yet happen - but isn't it enough that it has caused other wars in other countries, around the world. Isn't that almost like a world war?
Secession by region, as with the peaceful end of the USSR, needs to be a topic for discussion.

Davina, Just to add a PS:
And to this day we are left with the cause and effect of their vile ways.

These genocidal mass murderers need to be tried in a Nuremberg style court and punished for their crimes, not get to decide on the future of the people they are genociding. What an obscenity.
Of course. What does anyone propose to do about it?
what do you mean what can anyone do about it? Maybe some elected officials can have half the spine Thunberg has and actually arrest Netanyahu, stop sending arms and work together to put a stop to Israel and try these people in court instead of hiding behind flowery rhetoric while a teenager goes out there risking her life trying to make a stance in the face of such imminent danger. The answers are not hard or complicated, they just require integrity and spine, none of which elected officials in the West have. We all know why they US is owned by Israel. And European nations are mostly vassal to the US. But that is all a choice at some point.
They won't. Which is why Israel will continue doing what it's doing.
Humans suck, Feral, don’t they just?
There are a lot of armchair philosophers here..
CJ>>"It’s silly how people call it “the Holy Land”. If the land was holy it would have turned Israelis into decent people."
Brilliantly said, Caitlin. I just started laughing out loud when I read it. Loved it! ❤️🙏
Why should the Palestinians be asked ANYTHING at all? Please explain to me how much POLITICAL POWER AND INFLUENCE they have. Be HONEST!
Really, you need an explanation about why the indigenous people should have a say in their own future?
Obviously you are a zionist troll, we get one or two here when things are going bad for Israhell. Byeeeee
I’m expecting war on Iran any
minute 😱😱😱
And when they inevitably attack Iran again, that will trigger the end of the racist, genocidal Zionist entity.
Probably the US too.
I hope so, Jenny. I fuckin hope so.
i hope
A better version of the rapture.
Trump & Netanyahu's peace plan in reality amounts to first of all the final solution for the Palestinians which is the genocide and chopping Gaza into little pieces of real estate including gasfields, which reminds me of Cheney's carve up of Iraq's oilfields.
This is what they're wasting our taxes on.
>>"This is what they're wasting our taxes on."
No, your tax money is not going there. Your tax money goes for other things, but not for 'spending by the Federal Govt.' (Check out MMT - Modern Monetary Theory)
Wrong!
You're assuming quite a lot, any government that's providing material support to the IDF is wasting their taxpayers funds.
Wrong again, I'm not in US.
Blocked.
I believe you will VERY MUCH relate to it.
Interesting!
You've got it all inverted.
Imagine doing all that "work" just to end up in the dead-end, rage-bait echo chamber of Caitlin's Newsletter. That's actually hilarious!
Work? I never considered it work, that was something one does to earn the money too feed and house oneself and children. You would obviously find it very hard work having no understanding to "work" from. Watching you try, now that would be hilarious
Yes, Rodolfo Marusi Guareschi, well done to Caitlin! Like you being well-informed since childhood, I am still learning.
What we know for sure is NEVER EVER TRUST THE CURRENT USA AND ISRAEL!
That said, whoever trusts that any Hamas member will be allowed to life on after surrendering is a fool!
We had a chance when all the medal adorned war mongering generals were all in one room with ' the boss'. A taste of their own medicine.
If only..
