*Especially* don't listen to NPR, glib and smooth, using big words and an imsufferably smug and overeducated tone.

"If you're not careful, the newspapers will have you hating the people who are being oppressed, and loving the people who are doing the oppressing."

Feral my dear Kitty:

Did you know that both NPR and PBS signed contracts years ago to say nothing critical of the Zio Regime?

And people who watch or listen to this bullshit believe they have higher intellects 😂

100%. NPR and PBS are among the worst. Western pseudo-intellectual garbage.

Gnome Chumpski they call him a 911 gatekeeper. Army Goodwrench and her Democracy Too Late. Don't hold your breath waiting for her to explain the JEW WORLD ORDER. but luckily I can do it for you in a Jew York minute. Haha. No seriously you've also got Christ Hedging, the professional liar from the Jew York Times, and Jewlian Asshand, the mkultra kid cult kid. At least WikiLeaks did release documents about how mossad had control of the Arab hijackers before 911, and maybe that's why they threw him under the bus... The problem with these folks fooling you is that you don't understand the 2 basic things 1. Is that perfect propaganda is 95% truth to get you to believe and to trust, but the important 5% they hold back or obfuscate or outright lie about because of #2. If they told the whole truth they would lose their treasured platforms. No doubt they can rationalize that they're doing a "better" job than the full on lamestream jewstream jewsmedia, but it still doesn't qualify as "good," and in fact is heinous disgusting Jewish brainwashing, even when non Jews are doing it!!! Caitlin I've accused you of this as well. All of you "trusted sources" with lots of followers who aren't "antisemitic' enough are the reason why these fucking Jews are run amok. Marshall McLuhan was correct when he said 50 years ago that 'WW3 will be a guerrilla information war with no distinction between military and civilian participation.' there's good video of assange and hedges denying 911 truth and their lying eyes and squirming body language are right there in front of your eyes but you still can't see. I could post 1000 links explaining everything, but it's like water off a ducks back. https://substack.com/home/post/p-188582893

Good point. And it trickles down to the local level in local blogs and community news social media outlets. There's 2 in Humboldt county ca. Neither allow any criticism of anything Jewish. Censorship is the rule not the exception. One of these local outlets is run by my longtime friend and neighbor and she told me point blank that if she allows my opinions to air, her big Jewish donors won't donate. There are no good Jews. If there were, they would have been talking about how JEWS DID 911, but they weren't. They were attacking those of us who were in fact shouting the obvious, that "JEWS DID 911, and had the hutzpah to blame it on "the" Muslims." The fucking Jews were intimidating anyone who brought that up, so the same Jewish arch criminal masterminds did 10/7 just the same. How many so called good Jews do you know who are talking about how JEWS DID 10/7. fucking zero. That's why they got kicked out of countries more than 109 times, EN MASSE.

NPR is the worst. It's so hard to explain this to neoliberals because they think it's "leftist". They stare at you like deer caught in the headlights when you tell them how the Koch Brothers sponsors their programming.

"Educated tone" is far surpassed by the sobs and flowing tears. The tears are hard to do over radio but I have to say they manage it. But never Palestinians. Or Lebanese. Or Iranians. Never. Only one ethnic group.

"Yes, NPR has produced multiple programs, documentaries, and segments on Malcolm X, covering his life, legacy, and assassination over several decades. Notable features include "The Lost Tapes: Malcolm X" (2018), coverage of the biography "The Dead Are Arising" (2020), and archival audio of his speeches on Morning Edition. "

"We are faced with two choices: to continue as we have done for forty years fanning our pamphlets against the hurricane, or starting to build a new revolutionary culture that we will be able to turn on the old culture,” said George Jackson in 1971. Forty years is now 94 years

SW's avatar

We might want to look at the Cultural Revolution in China that killed millions and demonized the 4 olds — old culture, old habits, old ideas, old customs. It was supposed to be a socialist paradise (just like the USSR) and turned into a 10 year nightmare. There is no perfect system and revolution can quickly turn to brutality so I’m leery of revolution.

Western culture is a plastic, soulless heap of crap that’s endlessly recycled through garage sales, ends its existence in a land fill and is totally dependent on oil.

Long before capitalism reared its head, greed and a lust for power were just as prevalent—capitalism only makes it more obvious and all pretense of “doing good” has been ditched. I don’t know where this leads and have no answers or predictions.

Benjamin's avatar

Democracy is good. People should have a say in what happens to them. People want to have a say in what happens to them. The problem is information distribution, plus the all the money involved in "elections", which essentially predetermines the results, and most importantly-the fact that this world is ruled by capitalism, which is completely undemocratic, and completely unsustainable. I don't know how we can solve these contradictions, but I'd say the runway for attempting to do so is 10 years at best, before we're all slaves in a rapidly deteriorating world.

Lizzy Liberty's avatar

Mao's Cultural Revolution was a process that embodied the practices of Critique and Self-Critique against Landlords, Party Officials, Bureaucrats among others. It did commit excesses but Mao himself would tell us that this was a great social experiment, a developing and transformational process that had never been done anywhere before! The PRC wouldn't be the incredible society that it is today, without having gone through the Cultural Revolution. the PRC's history is incredible and we should try to understand it with a mind unpolluted by western chauvinism.

Richard Parker's avatar

That's a rewrite of history and a totally false conclusion.

The Cultural Revolution wasn’t just “critique”, it involved mass persecution, violence, and millions of lives disrupted or lost.

Even the government of China officially called it a “grave mistake.”

China’s rise came after Deng Xiaoping reversed those policies. Calling it a positive “experiment” ignores its scale of harm and China’s own verdict on it.

JennyStokes's avatar

Ha. A revolution without Brutality = impossible.

Roland's avatar

Even in France I once saw a graffito defining “Révolution: fait de tourner en rond.” The act of going round in a circle. The existentialists thought more in terms of revolt, possibly to avoid the suspicion of circular logic. Talking of landfill, I have had a revolt at the litter on the country roads which my council does not collect, building four bins onto my wife’s unused step-through-framed bicycle, but were it not for my house having windows not impenetrable to bricks, I have a nagging suspicion that it would be more effective to throw the litter back onto the roads whence it came to impede the traffic.

I long ago floated a list of demands for a new societal order, but criticism came back that it was just too reasonable. I felt humiliated.

It's difficult for many people to see the essential maladjustment of Western culture. We are propagandized from a very early age to believe we are superior. The Christian angle plays a large part, although it is a strange version of christianity. We also exploit our material advantages - at the expense of the less predatory. But the house of sand's crumbling is becoming too obvious to deny any longer. Millions of people are suffering serious deprivation, to their great surprise. Consequently, they're in denial: this isn't the narrative we were spoon-fed.

"We live in a sick and intensely mind-controlled dystopia where everything is fake and stupid."

We do! There's nothing authentic about amassing tons of useless junk and praising vapid, shallow idiots who kiss up to pedophiles and pedo-protecting elites. The only culture worth praising is REVOLUTIONARY and speaks out against the status quo. (Yeah, speaking out doesn't get you a paying gig usually, but at least you are expressing your true self and not the AI 'bot culture the dystopic fascist regime wants you to.)

Veronica Baker's avatar

Revolution is good so long as the leaders of said revolution don't become like the pigs on "Animal Farm". People should always read the book version, it did not have the happy ending that Disney gave them.

Everything is in that book, how to turn the children against their mother, though in the book it was dog form. George Orwell gave the public "1984" to let them know it was hopeless fighting against those in control. To others like himself, he wrapped up how they were going about it in "Animal Farm".

You're partly right, Caitlin. Opposing the empire is the #1 priority. But saying that's the "only worthwhile Western culture" overstates the case. As a former college humanities teacher who converted to Islam in 1993 and supports the Resistance, I can assure you that the great tradition of Western philosophy, literature, art, religion, spirituality and so on not only overlaps with the great Islamic and global traditions, but is one of the most, if not THE most, vibrant branches on the world cultural tree. Possibly the biggest reason Western culture is such a mess right now is that the West has lost touch with the best of its roots, and embraced nihilist obscurantism. Emmanuel Todd, who alongside Laurent Guyénot is all that is left of the once-formidable French intellectual tradition, gets this almost exactly right. Please read him.

How weird to discover I have been living by another man's words, Terence McKenna nearly all of my life. No television, don't buy magazines or newspapers, never listen to radio except when I was much younger and faithfully listened to pirate radio Caroline every evening for the few hours it broadcast. The unfortunate part of most of those radio presenters when Caroline got shutdown, they moved across to BBC Radio 1 and within a very short time conformed and just became another lot of rebels who sold out for fame and fortune.

I understand how you feel Caitlin but I don't know about anyone else on here, although my English forefathers are just another bunch of invaders who moved in and took over another land, we have just been here in the UK about a thousand years longer than you have been in Australia, though I have never forgotten it was not originally our land, I though, still feel rootless in this land but for me it is more to do with thinking, feeling and being different to the majority of those who also live here.

I simply don't fit. Yet I don't know where else I could fit either. It's like living in a society but not being a part of it. These days I choose to be a loner but I never feel lonely, to be aware of what is going on around me but to remain apart from it, I'm content with that.

Please let me recommend a book: Food of the Gods by Terence McKenna.

Veronica Baker's avatar

You can recommend as many books as you wish to, well, so long as you think they'll fit with how we tend to think on here. I have added it to my list, I hope to let you know in the not too distant future what I thought about it. Thank you.

The Empire is sustained by war, greed, rapacity and exploitation. Materialism is its credo and spiritual emptiness its end result. All traces of humanity are sacrificed at the altar of short term profit. Its final liberation will be the unleashing of Armageddon.

I get it.

If I may, one need not be white phenotype to be white culture nor does a white phenotype necessarily mean white culture.

Perhaps more buy in could happen if a different term was used. Western Mainstream Culture? Culture of the damned?

The obsession with phenotype is a hindrance to move forward and is one of the best weapons THEY use to keep us divided.

Take care.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I have to agree with you, you only have to look at the English parliament. Here we have Asians talking against asian communities, a black woman leading the opposition wanting the UK to send our bombers to hit Iran, I could go on but you get my point. It is not only "whites" who are so against the people here, it's all the diverse people in power, the same applies to various groups out there telling people what they should do.

Culture of the Damned sounds good to me.

"How could anyone relate to the human experience from inside this hellscape in a truth-based way, except by opposition? The only way to participate in “western culture” is to help create a new kind of culture which stands squarely in opposition to it."

To create a new reality, it'd be useful to come up with new fictions. A starting point could be to create stories of a world to come rather than stories of a world we're doomed to live in:

https://writerbytechnicality.substack.com/p/stories-of-a-world-to-come?r=3anz55

Veronica Baker's avatar

It's actually a good idea, the problem is how to get it across to school age and colleges, places like that, where the government spread its future disinformation and have control on what books and stories are available there. Those are especially the places we need to get information to, to counter what those in power want to bring into being.
