“A wolf, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the Lamb the Wolf’s right to eat him. He thus addressed him: “Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.”
“Indeed,” bleated the Lamb in a mournful tone of voice, “I was not then born.”
Then said the Wolf, “You feed in my pasture.”
“No, good sir,” replied the Lamb, “I have not yet tasted grass.”
Again said the Wolf, “You drink of my well.”
“No,” exclaimed the Lamb, “I never yet drank water, for as yet my mother’s milk is both food and drink to me.”
Upon which the Wolf seized him and ate him up, saying, “Well! I won’t remain supperless, even though you refute every one of my imputations.”
Moral: The tyrant will always find a pretext for his tyranny.”
Yes. These body counts remind me of the weekly lies of General William Westmoreland regarding how many Viet Cong were being slaughtered via massive saturation bombing.
Soldiers who served as boots on the ground knew that the numbers were bogus.
Westmoreland tried to convince Congress and the US taxpayers that every bomb dropped onto Vietnam was equal to some number of dead victims. However, the bombing runs were repeatedly hitting the same target, most open fields.
The timing schedules and targets of the bombing runs were highly predictable, so the affected people knew when to leave the target zones and when to return.
The situation in Gaza is different, with undercounted dead bodies, many of which were either completely incinerated or are still buried under the urban rubble.
I don’t doubt that. Westmoreland’s propaganda was an attempt to demonstrate the success of the arial bombing routines and his requests for more funding that benefited the defense contractors.
The "body count" was the brainchild of SecDef Robert McNamara, who was a big believer in managing by metrics "if you can't measure it, you can't manage it".
"Once a measure becomes a target, the measure ceases to be a good measure." - Goodhart's Law
In fact, the US underestimated, as all aggressors do, the number of Vietnamese killed, while the Vietnamese government claims 3 million killed. The US military claims 900,000 killed, and suggests the real total is 600,000. Most historians report 2.5-3 million killed, mostly civilians. In Iraq, the military claims 167,000 killed, studies show 1 million. In Gaza, Israel claimed 1400 killed, then 1200, then 700 civilians, ignoring that many Israeli victims were killed by the IDF. Hamas claims it did not target civilians.
The actual number of Vietnamese killed was not directly correlated to the bombings. Westmoreland’s numbers were pure fiction.
There were wholesale slaughters such as the burning of My Lai that involved no bombs or arial assaults. Most of the slaughters of civilians were unreported. The My Lai story broke via a whistleblower.
The irony is that the military almost always exaggerates the number of enemy troops killed while radically underestimating the number of civilians. IN Gaza troops have reported that anyone killed is called a Hamas terrorist soldier, even if a child, and of course, they long disputed the number or civlians killed with officials claiming 40-50% of deaths are Hamas, and since the IDF now accepts at least 80,000 total killed, that would mean they killed 35-40,000 of the 20,000 Hamas soldiers........so what is going on is that when killing is the norm lying to gain advantage is considered mandatory, in some sense a non-violent way to wage war on the narrative level. Those who would kill would not hesitate to lie. This likely applies to all military operations, as the narrative is to report the enemy slaughtered, the civilians spared, when in fact, virtually always, the opposite is the case.
Yes. Thank you. I hope people are waking up. Spoke to my friends in Iran during breaks in the communication blackout in January. It was clear there were outside agitators, who were organized and armed. Yes the Gov. in the confusion and shock of a couple hundred (there's a number) police killed, also killed innocents in response, and that is a tragedy. One life is. Your number is correct, and the names of those killed are listed, verified.
And here the US and Israel are killing many thousands of innocents. STOP in the name of LOVE. My tax money. STOP!

They want true peace. Keep standing up! Thank you.
People online yell at me whenever i question this. But at one point the lie was 40,000 in one weekend in Tehran. So I questioned. Where do you move 40k bodies. How do you move 40k bodies. I see videos in Tehran I don't see videos of 40k bodies. Then their "proof" was a red cross report of "hundreds of corpses" seen in a morgue... Hundreds, does not equal 40k. When I pondered then, if 40k people were killed in your city in one weekend. Would you be brave enough to go back into the streets again? In those videos there wasn't massive structural damage. There was no blood on the streets. So how do you kill 40k people, hide the bodies, clean up the spilled blood, and repair the inevitable destruction caused? All without video evidence, in this wretched year of 2026?
I asked if anyone remembers the refrigerated trucks holding corpses at the start of COVID, and if that was such a huge logistical issue in NYC for instance, how could tens of thousands of people be killed and their bodies destroyed without a trace? No one has ever answered this 🤡
I've said this a number of times to the apologists :
"You're going to tell me you claim Iran killed more people in 2 days with armed soldiers than you claim Israel killed in 2 years of bombing Gaza? Something's wrong with both your math and your lying"
Now you see where the six-million hollowcaust lie comes from. Many have suffered much more in WW2 yet typically are never even mentioned because they are not chosenites. Like Palestinians are always painted as "terrorists" on their own land being stolen from them by jews and the western fascists. By far the biggest export product of the West is LIES, WARS, and GENOCIDES advocacy.
Like when all hospital deaths were being attributed to COVID even when COVID was secondary to the cause of death, perhaps they are adding the numbers of Iranians being murdered by U.S. and Israeli missiles to the "protester" death count.

All modern "reality" is a true story based on fiction... Next >>>
Fascinating. It makes me wonder, is consciousness a fiction, or real? If it is real, what is it? What is a conscious emotion? What makes an emotion real? Is an emotion a chemical reaction? How does a chemical reaction produce an emotion? Or even a thought? What is thought? Fiction or real? If thought is real, how is it real?
What is energy? What produced the Big Bang? Is Time real? ... Next >>>
Human consciousness (the ugliest, most ill-defined idea in all of science) does not need to generate accurate replicas of reality. It needs only to give the human being a survival advantage (long enough to reproduce) to be persist. This is why optical illusions exist, for example. Our brains have evolved shortcuts and systems for perceiving reality that may not represent what actually is observed. To answer your question, I would say "human consciousness" is absolutely real in the biological sense (which does, in fact, include the idea that emotional states are chemical in nature and many other inescapable ideas) but that it is not a perfect instrument for observing the universe in any way other than a human way.
You couldn't even define sanity without consciousness, or even know the world existed in the first place.
Consciousness is the Universe looking at itself, since both emerge from the same "stuff" - the nature of that "stuff" still is not fully known by modern science. I suspect the "stuff" to be more profound than we have yet understood, and even more complex than what has already been revealed.
Consciousness is the most tremendous fact in our reality. That it even exists is one of the greatest mysteries in science today.
Researchers at UC Santa Barbara fairly recently used advanced quantum sensors to detect quantum coherence - the existence of particles in multiple states - within the human brain. Confirms Hameroff/Penrose prediction of quantum processes playing a role in generating consciousness.
So, human consciousness itself cannot be replicated by classical computers. Personally, I don't think quantum computers will be able to do the trick either.
Correct. The problem with quantum computers assessing their own "consciousness" are results are dependent upon Infinite regress as recursion.. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Infinite_regress
Perhaps you would enjoy this wonderful presentation: Quantum Information Panpsychism Explained >>> Federico Faggin >>> January 31, 2025 >>> https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0FUFewGHLLg
Opening remarks: "Physicist Federico Faggin proposes that consciousness is not an emergent property of the brain, but a fundamental aspect of reality itself: Quantum fields are conscious and have free will."
There are also valid proofs in quantum theory that No Observer = No Existence... Best regards.
What do they mean by 'conscious' in that remark? I haven't read the reference but it seems to me that 'consciousness' is an unnecessary stand-in for emergence, which is less poorly defined scientifically.
My definition of "consciousness": Simple flow chart: I am what I am because I'm not everything else. >>> Yet everything else made me what I am... It's a sort of Recursive humor. Very unscientific.
What do you say to those who claim that you are enmeshed in a living environment and cannot be considered apart from it? Even in outer space, astronauts have to wear a suit that is essentially Earth in a can.
You are questioning diverse aspects of essential experience. Starting from essential aspects of physical form as biological experience, I believe the primitive entity is not intellectually 'conscious' per se, yet may be *aware* of self. This awareness has relation to all 'other' forms within the physical universe. Again, this awareness may not contain *intellectual* expression as awareness, but is aware of its own form. Molecules, particles, and all physical manifestations, 'remember' how they are constructed...
Man as a biological construct, contains myriad forms of organized matter, all of which have evolved the body and brain into a physical survival mechenism. The final expression of brain/body organization is "mind" as a complex metaphysical projection into the space/time continuum. I believe that existence or experience of existence is programmable. The mechanisms of sensory survival have evolved 'mind ' as a sort of organizational arbitrator. When the body becomes dehydrated, it signals this to 'mind' so that 'brain' takes remedial action. A leg cannot fetch water without instruction...
The brain/body is a willing slave to the master constructs they've evolved. That's why I believe "politics" is actually a metaphysical expression. Man has convoluted these remedial constructs into moon shots, financial nightmare, religious disputes, war, and all manner of misapplied sensory input... Jus' sayin'
Not sure if that's helpful to your query, but maybe someone else can make sense of it. Best regards...
I'm in the middle of Faggin's book "Irreducible" right now - although he's right on the border of my intellectual (comprehension) abilities - . Left off on page #180 about a month ago. It's gotten to the point where if anyone I engage in conversation shows any faith or credulity in our "legacy" media or in the assertion of any politician from either side of the aisle, I exclude them from serious consideration in my mind. They need only to be humored and then prodded at opportune moments. It's not easy, though, so tenacious is the ideological hold on people's minds, so deep the desperate need to believe that those with power over us are benign.
Also, habit. It's what they're used to. I've managed to pull someone out of the legacy information ecosystem into independent media and their eyes opened all on their own. This is why I blame our media so much.
In future, as we collectively look back on these turbulent times with horror, the rogue US regime will be remembered by historians as the fictional US regime: fictional wealth, fictional power, fictional values, fictional morality, fictional intellects – in general fictional people.
But that is the way of the West – where culture has developed so as to exist in such a tenuous relationship to reality that meaning is fluid, and all things contained within are subject to it’s logic of flow. No authenticity, no permanence – ethics becomes expedience, meaning is marketing, reality is nauseous. No history, only copywriting. No values, only vulgarity.
Unfortunately for the world of the present, being a fictional empire does not make you any less dangerous.
That's the power structure's entire game… that's the entire "trick"... to get people to start arguing over numbers, like almost always fictitious numbers especially (like protester death counts), when these people couldn't give a fuck about how many people died anyway... because these meaningless arguments are perfect for distracting people from the real issues.
Once one gets sucked into playing the "game", it's over... they're already playing a completely "dead" hand (no pun intended). It is the same sort of game where democrats and republicans march thru their cheerleading steps to argue with each other about "this" issue and "that" (they especially love to go thru those empty, pointless motions before all the meaningless elections).
Instead, I would probably just ask them something along these lines (if one has no escape, other than to get sucked into these exchanges, it has always seemed that the best approach is to get these disingenuous people answering questions, instead of you answering them)... maybe something perhaps like this... How many deaths would be "ok with you" to keep you from using that as your bullshit argument trying to bolster your support for exponentially more deaths (which they don't really care about anyway)? ...because once you get them to answer, to respond, to that question, and since you are (one is) playing a game anyway, the game then turns in your favor.
Yup. >>> "We'll know our disinformation program is complete when everything the American public believes is false" - William J. Casey - CIA Director (1981)
This kind of deception by governments and media is already going on since WWI. Read: Arthur Ponsonby, Falsehood in Wartime, written in 1929. A few instances:
-During WWI, people in countries like Britain and Canada were stirred up by stories about the Germans cutting of the hand of little Belgian girls. After the war, not a single girl with chopped-off hands was found.
-In that same war, the Germans were accused of turning the dead bodies of their fallen soldiers into soap in giant soap factories. Thies lie wasn't a great success, so it could be recycled after WWII, this time with the Jews as victims. It was given much publicity first, to the point that bars of soap were given an official funeral, but it was quietly dropped later on.
The pretexts used to justify the war keep changing, because all of them are pretexts.
See Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria, Libya and Venezuela for starters.
Wait, I thought it was nuclear weapons? Or maybe it was missiles? Or closing the Straits? Now we're back to protesters?
“A wolf, meeting with a Lamb astray from the fold, resolved not to lay violent hands on him, but to find some plea to justify to the Lamb the Wolf’s right to eat him. He thus addressed him: “Sirrah, last year you grossly insulted me.”

I had the misfortune of seeing and hearing Westmoreland in person.
An indelibly imprinted misfortune, I'm sure. I was luckier; only had to see the man on TV news.
Hi CK
I had many friends who served in Nam. They universally told me that if you so much as fired your rifle, it “counted” as a killed Vietcong.
I don’t doubt that. Westmoreland’s propaganda was an attempt to demonstrate the success of the arial bombing routines and his requests for more funding that benefited the defense contractors.

No authenticity, no permanence – ethics becomes expedience, meaning is marketing, reality is nauseous. No history, only copywriting. No values, only vulgarity.
Unfortunately for the world of the present, being a fictional empire does not make you any less dangerous.
Such a state of affairs is denounced in the Baghavad Gita. Evil government has long been with us.
Humanity is childish indeed.
this is a slam dunk and i appreciate you taking the time to compile this evidence
It's based on the Big Lie theory that no one would have the audacity to lie to such a great extent. Therefore, the logic goes, it must be true.
One would think the constantly shifting numbers in the ascendance would be a clue about the falsehoods.
Some people are incapable of thinking.
Another logical fallacy to add to the list.
My fav is the 'burning 90,000 corpses' Xitter post.
Reminds of some historical 'event' that J's LUV to bing up.
Again. And again.
