The world needs constant wars and death, suffering and misery. This is what happens when you engage any government to run your country. They know nothing else and need constant conflict to help them feel like they are useful. The fact is, they are mostly useless.
There must be an immediate ceasefire in Gaza. Pope Francis has said what is needed, now he must do what is needed by going to Gaza and standing for peace, justice and freedom.
[Average Israelis remained oblivious. The tactic of Israel is a pattern of oppression, incitement and then escalating counter-punches and more and more theft of land; and then the pattern is repeated.]
Despite its intensity, this escalation has barely registered on the radar of Israelis by and large.
The reason for this lies in the phenomenal success of Israel's intelligence and operational efforts
through the Shin Bet security agency and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF),
which allow Israel to maintain a semblance of upper hand.
In reality, the public only becomes aware of this war when there are casualties,
as seen in this week's operation in Talkarm. Numerous similar operations conducted in recent days
received little acknowledgment despite tangible results such as arrests or the disruption of terrorist plots.</BLOCKQUOTE>

Seems almost too prophetic to be genuine:

The move marks the single largest land seizure by the Israeli government since the 1993 Oslo accords, according to Peace Now, a settlement watchdog group.
“While there are those in Israel and the world who seek to undermine our right over the Judea and Samaria area and the country in general,” Smotrich said Friday, referring to the territory by its biblical name, “we are promoting settlement through hard work and in a strategic manner all over the country.”

The officers normally charged with approving/disapproving such an event were overruled by higher-ups.
Recall that Israel had been in possession of Hamas' detailed plans for Oct 7th and they had it nearly a full year before Oct 7th. Detailed. Israel knew the Rave was in the danger zone, but the Rave was relocated to within 3 miles of the Gaza wall. People in Gaza could hear the Rave taking place.
And this was taking place with diminished troop levels. Israel had recently temporarily moved the majority of it's forces around Gaza to the West Bank.

The officers normally charged with approving/disapproving such an event were overruled by higher-ups.
Recall that Israel had been in possession of Hamas' detailed plans for Oct 7th and they had it nearly a full year before Oct 7th. Detailed. Israel knew the Rave was in the danger zone, but the Rave was relocated to within 3 miles of the Gaza wall. People in Gaza could hear the Rave taking place.
And this was taking place with diminished troop levels. Israel had recently temporarily moved the majority of it's forces around Gaza to the West Bank.

If the world community saw that all the slaughter that Israel tries to justify because of Oct 7th
was the result of a treacherous scheme from Israeli leaders then Israel would be the pariah state it has earned.
