RIP Robert Parry, a genuine journalist. I might add one overarching bit of propaganda that most folks implicitly accept. It's the notion that the current western hyper-reductionist medical model is optimally effective at diagnosing and treating illness. But the truth is that health is a complex adaptive system property, of far greater complexity than analysis of the (often singular) peripheral biomarkers used by biomedicine (for example, high blood HDL/cholesterol); and these biomarkers drive drug development. For example, Aduhelm is a drug that helps dissolve the plaques in the brains of Alzheimer's patients, one of the main biomarkers of the illness. Problem is that the reductionist molecular effect of the drug is not accompanied by any clinical benefit, the complex system unmoved by this reductionist tinkering around the edges. Most folks are inherently propagandized, forced to accept the reductionist model, most not possessed of the fundamental biological expertise -- or not widely read in dynamical systems theory -- to adjudicate otherwise. So the ignorance that creates brainwashed souls is vast in scope. And it's unlikely that the Big Pharma or insurance monstrosities are likely to help us understand the shortfalls of reductionist biomedicine. Note that despite a unanimous "not approved" vote by the FDA's drug-advisory board, the FDA nonetheless approved Aduhelm, thereby lending the force of the US government to the many fictions of reductionist healthcare model propaganda.

Also good reading: Robert F. Kennedy Jr's book; "The Real Anthony Fauci". It opened my eyes immensely. I knew Big pharma was bad, it's just far worse than I could have ever imagined. I also got cancelled from Medium when I opened the can of worms about the corruption in the Pharma cartels. Then come to find out Medium gets about 7% of its budget from...yep, Big pharma.

I did read it...he accused Fauci and Gates of what amounts to murder...they didnt sue him for libel...not wanting to bring any attention to their diabolical deeds...and confirming his claims are true

Mass murderers, the biggest ones, usually don't get charged with crimes against humanity. The small ones are profiled on 'Criminal Minds' or get the death penalty from the courts. Case in point, and the biggest who's still revered by politicians, Henry Kissinger.

You make it sound as if germ theory is not settled science, that the inventor of germ theory, Louis Pasteur, actually admitted that his research and theory were completely fraudulent, that “viruses” may not even exist, or that factors other than the presence of a “pathogen” are the primary cause of illness.

Next thing you know you’ll be suggesting that an environment filled with industrial pollutants and known toxins cause disease, or that a healthy lifestyle (especially a healthy diet) could prevent most disease when our best scientists/leading experts/presidents/government bureaucrats/media all tell us that expensive experimental injections and dangerous drugs are the only solution to keeping those at the end of their natural life spans and the morbidly commorbid alive long enough to die “with” something other than Covid.

Next thing you know you’ll be claiming that our sacred understanding of theoretical physics is somehow flawed just because the theories can’t account for 90% of the matter and energy in the universe.

Science denier!

Molecular biologist, immunology teacher for over 25 yrs. My point, friend, is that I understand reductionist biomedicine at its molecular roots, in addition to having studied and taught dynamical systems theory. Of course all your enumerated factors -- microorganisms, environmental toxicity etc. -- influence health and illness. But it's ALSO common biomedical knowledge that most drugs tinker at the edges of causality, and in a cybernetic system provoke feedback responses that may impact an illness negatively, or even positively in some instances, making the entire enterprise of seeking "magic bullet" drugs a ridiculous endeavor. In either case, it's the complexity of the system's internal regulation that is the source of either the salubrious or negative outcomes. Reductionist biomedicine refuses to even teach that perspective to physicians, so they go merrily along believing whatever drug marketers feed them. On that final point, I highly recommend Dr. John Abramson's book " Sickening."

Couldn't agree more that magic bullet drugs are ridiculous, and while I blame that mainly on the generally unquestioned acceptance of germ theory by the biomedical establishment (and the public), there are numerous other contributing factors, particularly corporate profit dynamics and captured government regulators.

With regard to the "complexity of the system's internal regulation that is the source of either the salubrious or negative outcomes," for me this gets quickly into the realm of the mind-body problem--a problem that science in its current state probably will never adequately address. Of course, biology isn't the only science that is failing due to institutional pressures for de facto acceptance of theories treated as settled science. Obviously, physics, astronomy, and anthropology are all either on the brink of collapse or on the brink of revolutionary and better theory. (Let's hope it's the latter.) But the failings of biomedical science are of special concern because such failings are killing us.

Thanks for the book recommendation. I'm a bit burned out on the many excellent popular books that describe the dangers of mixing medicine with corporate capitalism, but I placed a hold on a copy of "Sickening" at the local library. Interestingly, btw, there are four copies at the library and all are currently checked out. I take that as a good sign that more and more people are awaking to the danger of mixing science of any type with too much corporate capitalism, and of the dangers of blindly following/obeying any expert.

Regardless of your opinion on the Canadian Trucker movement, the response from the Canadian government - and the bought-and-paid-for-media - was nothing short of a perfect example of government mind control. There was one - ONE - Nazi flag that was waived twice - TWICE - and it became the center of the governments attempt to smear truckers. It was such an obvious false flag as to be pathetic, but they did it anyway and largely succeeded due to the active participation of all the Canadian media.

CTV, CBC, BELL media and others are now complaining because Canadians don't trust them. Hilarious.

Another favorite was when someone filmed the CBC crew filming one of the trucker support protests along the highway. The CBC were pointed at a small group of hutterites, but the citizen reporter turned around and there was a MASSIVE crowd of people that the CBC was ignoring on purpose.

You are a a fascist, no doubt about it. The cowardice of the far right knows no bounds. They project nazism onto their alleged enemies and pretend they're not nazis. As fascists, why are they afraid to wear their fascism proudly? Step up and identify yourselves proudly and boldly. Tattoo your swastikas on your foreheads so we recognize you on the streets. Your words on the internets give you away but the tattoo is important for meat space. The trucker protests were fascist all the way and only represented a tiny percentage of owner-operator truckers who haul for wealthy clients in a niche market.

https://www.nationalobserver.com/2022/02/16/news/meet-some-wealthy-canadians-who-donated-trucker-convoy

The list of donors is a bizarre who's who.

"The leaked data suggests a considerable number of donations to the convoy came from people who appear to be in the U.S. According to an analysis by Queen’s University professor Amarnath Amarasingam, an expert in extremism and social movements, 56 per cent of contributions appeared to come from American donors and only 39 per cent from Canadians. Multiple donations in the leaked data were attributed to email accounts from the U.S. Department of Justice, NASA and the Federal Bureau of Prisons, among other American government agencies.

However, Amarasingam pointed out, Canadian donations added up to nearly US$700,000 more than their American counterparts. Former Newfoundland PC leader Ches Crosbie was among the Canadians who contributed to the GiveSendGo campaign, confirming to The Independent a US$800 donation in his name. Crosbie joins former Newfoundland and Labrador premier Brian Peckford in his vocal support for the protests."

So there we have it. The Canadien Truck Convoy was fake protest funded by the American Deep State and by wealthy Canadiens and Americans as part of a strategy of tension.

"The only “freedoms” the protesters support are the freedom of the virus to run rampant and the “freedom” of big business to keep operating at full tilt, herding workers into unsafe workplaces amid a raging pandemic, so as to maximize profits.

This is why the protest is being trumpeted by broad sections of the ruling elite, who view any impediment to profit accumulation, no matter how small, as intolerable. For the mainstream media outlets, opposition Conservative Party and business leaders who have backed the protest, the trucker vaccine mandate is not the real issue. Rather they have rallied round the “Freedom Convoy” with the aim of using the far right as a battering ram in their push to end all pandemic restrictions. They are deeply frustrated that despite their relentless efforts to promote the lie that there is no alternative to “living with the virus” and the elimination of most pandemic income relief, the majority of the population continues to support lockdowns to halt the spread of COVID-19."

Matt Ehret just published an article that talks about the origins of the Council of Foreign Relations, among other things. I'll link below along with the episode I just posted on him and his wife Cynthia Chung as GeoPuzzle Pros. It talks about her series on Sleepwalking into Fascism, and his research into the CIA funding artists to create art devoid of meaning--abstract expressionism. I found this quote while researching it:

Someone once said that beneath or behind all political and cultural warfare lies a struggle between secret societies.

This is a great post. Anyone who is committed to reason and evidence capsule not possibly deny the fact that the leaders in Washington lie to us in an effort to control our opinions on their behavior.

Yet Stengel is wrong about propaganda. It is not necessarily false. The aim of propagandists is not to lie but to change the mind of the targets in favor of the power the propagandists support, and for that purpose truth will often serve, especially if it is mixed in with lies. Other methods of using truth in propaganda are framing, filtering, obscurantism, misdirection, camouflage/'glitter', and so on. The fact that a State Department employee who is supposed to be doing propaganda does not know this may explain why the propaganda we get is so bad, although given the success of Vietnam-era, War On Terror-era, Iraq era, and Ukraine-era may suggest that quality isn't needed for a great majority of the target American audience.

"By their acts you will know them": there is some good stuff in the bible, common wisdom of which people have always been aware. By their acts, and their results. Propaganda, no matter how clever, extensive and effective, has limitations. Fool me once, twice, three times - but thousands of times? And how far does blaming the Russians for lack of housing, food on the table, dangerous roads and bridges, go? And once thoroughly discredited it's almost impossible to regain confidence. So, a reality check on the part of propagandists and the governments responsible, is inevitable, and the sooner they see that the better. it don't work, when you get right down to it. And Russia and China are getting tired of the insults and general bullshit. And without Russia and China, we are probably screwed and - screwed again.

I know you don't agree with the Pro-life movement, but for the March for life in Victoria BC, the city set up a "Women and Children's Indigenous" day on the same day as the March For Life. There was a tent full of reporters and reporting equipment (I saw it myself). That government sponsored event wrapped up a mere hour before the march for life arrived and the entire media tent was already packed up and gone.

This shows two things: 1) The government actively creating a distraction from a citizen led event and 2) the complicity of the Canadian MSM.

Regardless of your opinion on M4L, this shows the governments contempt for it's citizens and their opinions. Agree with these government tactics at your own peril.
