My first thought when I saw the "Joy poster"? I want to add a couple of bloody child-sized handprints across it with drips of blood for added effect. There. That would make it a more accurate campaign poster for Holocaust Harris, the joyful genocide-enabler she is.

Holocaust Harris = HH = 88 = Heil Hitler. Very appropriate.

I had a similar first thought about the Joy poster: replacing the flowers (that look like stickers for the bottom of a bathtub) with images of bomb craters from Palestine.

PS - here's where you can find the template image: https://kiiarens.com/products/kamala-vote-joy

There is no future voting for the Democrat or Republican party. You are just perpetuating an abusive relationship, and it will continue to get worse. Even if you decide to participate in this billionaire rigged electoral cycle for whatever "short term" gain you think you'll get, all you've done is traded short term gratification for more long term abuse. The only real choice in an abusive relationship is to leave. A short term "stay" from abuse at the expense of even greater future abuse is not worth it (IMO).

If Caitlin Johnstone sees value in voting against the Republicans, that's enough for me. She is unequivocal about our empire's horrific actions and the leaders enacting them.

I never said I see value in voting against Republicans; I see no value in voting in US presidential elections at all. As I said, I think Obama and Biden disproved the claim that Republicans are more destructive than Democrats. All I'm saying is I can sorta kinda respect someone who thinks voting Democrat helps as long as they still ferociously fight the Democrats.

CJ>>"Israel isn’t responsible for the existence of western warmongering, western warmongering is responsible for the existence of Israel. If there wasn’t an Israel they’d just invent another excuse to sow violence and division in the middle east. Biden himself has acknowledged this, saying “Were there not an Israel the United States would have to invent an Israel to protect her interests in the region.”"

Yes! There are too many people (on Caitlin's substack) that believe that Israel (or AIPAC or something else) controls the US. NO!!!!! That's what people that don't understand the US Empire (and how it works) think. Blaming Israel for controlling the US is tantamount to giving the depravity of the US a pass. America IS THE EVIL EMPIRE. Israel is America's Mini-me. This Genocide is supported and prolonged by the US (after it was started by Israel).

No.

As used in contemporary discourse, stopping genocide is by definition "unreasonable" because it goes against the desires of people of influence and authority.

EXACTLY! If you're a "Never-Trumper", then you MUST also be a "Never-Harris-er" or "Never-Biden-er". Anything else and you're a fake (IMO). Also, lesser-evil "voting logic" is not going to solve any problems or make anything better regardless of the outcome of the 2024 elections - especially since there ARE better choices out there ->Jill Stein, Cornel West, Claudia De La Cruz (even NONE is a better choice than Trump or Harris).

Dr. Jill Stein states that on the first day she is in the White House she will call Israel and tell them that's the end of the arms shipments and to stop the genocide right away. “Trump and Harris are 99% identical in terms of the real policies they’ll promote. Trump supporters and Harris supporters hate each other because of that 1% difference; I hate them both because of that other 99%.”

And the human species’ genome is 99.9% identical, somehow that hasn’t stopped us from hating our neighbors.

Whenever I feel myself in total agreement with something that includes blanket statements about other people, I have to stop and try and parse the ideas. I’d say that not everyone is knowingly supporting these political parties with full appreciation of all they are doing.

The level of propaganda is outrageously high in America, and that’s because it works. Many decent people have not broken free — yet. But we see more and more who are learning to leave their mental, and emotional straitjackets. And, yes, Project 2025 is terrifying.

I’m voting for Dr. Jill Stein, again. Please join me.

Had to chuckle. Hedges called Kamala "vapid" - adding, there's nothing there. Hmmm. As long as the corporatized Democratic Establishment is not side-lined, we're going to be "given" their "anointed". How's that for arrogance?! (Genocide Joe Biden. Now, Kamala the manageable joyful woman who once was a (fancy) cop.) We must not allow ourselves to be insulted by such disrespect. "Anointed?" Making sufficient noise and good ruckus in insisting on an open convention next time is absolutely critical. And anyone -- who can figure out the crack that will side-line or disperse the existing corporatized Democratic majority to insert more genuine democratic processes for the selection of substantive human beings in an open convention - now, they, they will be mightily appreciated!!!!

Was watching a Cenk Uygur interview on Lex Fridman yesterday. Although I don't listen to him to often these days, the interview was quite good and he made some sharp points on the state of politics right now. Cenk did say unequivocally nothing will really be changed until we get Big Money out of politics. It's all a sideshow circus until then (my own words).
