However, as you know, Israel is not satisfied with one room and refuses to define its borders, insisting instead that it is entitled to take however much territory its "ally", the US (my Country) will conquer for that filthy little genocidal, terrorist, thieving, lying state. This will continue as long as the US supports and finances that criminal state. There are some indications that support for it has significantly weakened, but I will not believe that this means a change of real policy until I see my Country cutting off the aid it gives to Israel. Israel could not continue to exist as an ethno-supremacist, apartheid state of Israel if the US did not provide massive, pretty much unlimited financial, military, political and diplomatic support to it. The genocide now being committed against the Palestinians and the Lebanese would not be possible without US support, which means that my Country is primarily responsible for the genocide. Trump now has a choice to make, a choice forced by the brave and decent Iranians: force Israel to withdraw from Lebanon and the occupied territories or cause a world-wide depression. What will that lunatic do? Who knows? What we do know is that his decision will be driven by what he believes to be in his own personal, selfish interest. It is an interesting question to which we will know the answer in the coming days and weeks. Stay tuned.
I think the analogy is slightly off. Very Early on, the Jews of Europe were welcomed by the Palestinians. It’s more like a distant cousin you didn’t know asked to live in one room of your house and you agreed- you Fed him, gave him a roof over his head and treated him like family. But then, he invited his whole family and all his friends to your house and they took it over and pushed you out.
