They’ve attacked two new countries in two days: Tunisia and Qatar. They’ve carried out dozens of assassinations in the following countries in just 18 months: Palestine, Lebanon, Iran, Yemen, Syria and Qatar. Total number of countries attacked in less than two years: 9 (Palestine, Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, Iran, Lebanon, Malta, Tunisia, Qatar). Total impunity. The entire world’s inaction is sickening.
Stephen Walker, it was enough the world being ruled by the aggression of the US! Now it is obvious that we have been 'handed over' to an even more vicious, more savage entity. Israel must have found a way to empty their people of all feelings of humanity. I am sure we all cringe with disgust when Netanyahu comes on the news.
I do not know how our Caitlin finds words to retell the inhumanity of the zionists day in and day out. The Israeli crimes are becoming beyond horrendous that I can understand that even she must be running out of words... . Why is the world just watching on.
Trump (and his administration) seem to be following a particular MO -> arrange fake (i.e. in bad faith) negotiations (eg. fake nuclear talks with Iran, fake cease-fire negotiations with Hamas) to gather people together in one area to discuss, and then ASSASSINATE them.
This is just one more assassination strategy that the U.S. Empire employs from its playbook of 'assassinations and regime change operations'.
There really is no end to which genociding Zionists will go.
We all know the West has no interest in Palestinians.
But what I've always wondered since October 7th is why none of the Arab nations, especially the ones who have oil money (which is the only language the West understands) have not made an effort to retaliate, like they did during the OIl Crisis of the 1970's?
They’re not real countries. None of them come close to having any sovereignty. Saudi is the only one with any significant population of actual citizens. Most of them have far more imported labour than citizens. They are all artificially constructed vassals created by the British and American empires. Yemen is the only exception, and it has been subjected to genocide and war for over a decade. The invented royal family dictatorships will never resist the Zionists. They only ever spout empty platitudes.
Would love to hear your take on why Qatar, which (thankfully) funds the staunchly pro-Palestianian Al Jazeera network, sucks up to Trump by giving him a $400 million jet?
The Qatari royal family doesn’t “fund” Al Jazeera. It fully owns and controls Al Jazeera. Al Jazeera Arabic and Al Jazeera English have separate propaganda missions. If you need a clue as to the political purposes of Al Jazeera, contrast their coverage of Palestine and Syria. Saudi, UAE Bahrain and Egypt became so enraged over the influence Al Jazeera was having over their populations that in 2017 they instituted a land, sea and air blockade of Qatar for over three years. Each despotic royal family has their own competing agenda, which is triangulated against the US/Zionist empire’s agenda.
>>"...which is triangulated against the US/Zionist empire’s agenda."
Actually, no. Neither Saudi Arabia, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Egypt, Jordan, Kuwait or Turkey are against the U.S. Empire. In fact, they are side players, vying for their own sovereignty and dominance (in the case of Turkey, Saudi Arabia, and Egypt) in the region.
All of the above countries have deep involvement with the U.S. Empire and convoluted histories and different levels of symbiotic relationships.
Are you hallucinating? Or is your reading comprehension just poor? Either way, please don’t insinuate something I never wrote or implied, like “…are against the US empire”.
Like I said, it is a complicated relationship. For example, you might have noticed that Al Jazeera has a pro-U.S. and anti-Russia bias (as observed from its coverage of the Ukraine war). At the same time, much of the populace of Qatar (and its audience in the MENA region) have strong sympathies with the Palestinian cause. Hence, it is a balancing act.
Maybe it's like a Chinese fire drill. You have everyone running around not knowing what to do or what they are doing, and with individuals and groups actually working against each other.
I have always looked at many cultures as being this way. It helps to understand their behaviors.
Qatar and the United States have a strategic partnership that has developed since diplomatic relations were established in 1972. This relationship includes military cooperation, economic ties, and cultural exchanges, with Qatar hosting a significant U.S. military base and being a major non-NATO ally.
There is a long history of Qatari support for U.S. Empire operations in the MENA region.
I remember when Blinken arrived in Israel ("as a jew"}, and told A.J. to tone it down to control the narrative. Too much truth about Genocidal War Crimes is bad for his kind.

Exports Israel Katz Defense Exports
(Voice over news report)
"The Director General of the Israel Ministry of Defense (IMOD), Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, and the head of the IMOD International Defense Cooperation Directorate (SIBAT), Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas, presented Defense Minister Israel Katz with the 2024 defense exports report, revealing that defense industries secured new contracts worth $14.795 billion throughout the year."
"Israel again reached an all-time peak in defense exports in 2024, marking the fourth consecutive record-breaking year in the scope of defense agreements. Throughout the year, Israel's various defense industries signed hundreds of significant defense contracts worldwide with the help and support of the IMOD, including over half of these deals (56.8%) being mega-deals, valued at least $100 million each."
"Since the outbreak of war on October 7, 2023, the IMOD and defense industries have operated in emergency mode, mobilizing for the war effort with round-the-clock IDF production while maintaining foreign client manufacturing. The war's operational achievements and the proven battlefield performance of Israeli systems have driven strong international demand for Israeli defense technology, concluding 2024 on a remarkably high note with record-breaking export deals."
"Notably, the export of missiles, rockets, and air defense systems reached a new significant milestone, accounting for 48% of the total deal volume, up from 36% in 2023. Similarly, satellite and space systems exports saw substantial growth, representing 8% of deals in 2024 compared to 2% in 2023. Additionally, there was significant growth in contracts with European countries, which accounted for 54% of the total deal volume in 2024, compared to 35% in 2023."
"Defense export data by geographic distribution: Europe (54%), Asia and the Pacific Region (23%), Abraham Accords countries (12%), North America (9%), Latin America (1%), and Africa (1%)."
"Distribution of agreements by financial scope: Agreements over $100 million (56.8%), agreements between $50-100 million (9.5%), agreements between $10-50 million (16.3%), and agreements up to $10 million (17.4%)."
"Defense Minister Israel Katz stated: “Precisely during a difficult and complex year of war, Israel has broken an all-time record in defense exports - $15 billion. This tremendous achievement is a direct result of the successes of the IDF and defense industries against Hamas in Gaza, Hezbollah in Lebanon, the Houthis in Yemen, the Ayatollah regime in Iran, and in additional arenas where we operate against Israel's enemies. The world sees Israeli strength and seeks to be a partner in it. We will continue strengthening the IDF and the Israeli economy through security innovation to ensure clear superiority against any threat - anywhere and anytime.”
"IMOD Director General, Maj. Gen. (Res.) Amir Baram, added: “The new record in Israeli defense exports, achieved during a year of war, reflects more than anything else the growing global appreciation for Israeli technology’s proven capabilities. Israeli systems have resonated throughout the Middle East this past year. More nations want to protect their citizens using Israeli defense equipment."
"To support the IDF’s immediate and long-term needs, we must continue this momentum in defense exports, enabling us to strengthen the IDF with more systems, develop the next generation of capabilities, and bolster Israel’s economy. We must expand Israel’s defense production base to ensure continuous and sustained security readiness, even during challenging periods, while enabling greater export capacity. We will work to expand existing markets, break into new markets, and better leverage Israel's unique defense-tech ecosystem.”
"Head of SIBAT, Brig. Gen. (Res.) Yair Kulas: “For the fourth consecutive year, we’re witnessing record-breaking Israeli defense exports, with 2024 reaching an all-time high of over $14.7 billion. These impressive results stem from an innovative, creative, and pioneering defense industry, producing cutting-edge systems across air, land, intelligence, and naval domains. This export volume reinforces Israel's position as a leading defense-technology powerhouse and demonstrates the superior quality of Israeli systems and international confidence in their proven battlefield capabilities."
"The unique partnership between our defense industries, the IDF, the Defense Ministry personnel, and SIBAT creates competitive advantages in global markets. Israel’s defense industry has shown a remarkable ability to optimally serve the IDF’s wartime needs while simultaneously meeting the growing global demand.”

"Weapons Export Diplomacy: How the Israeli Defense Industry Furthers Foreign Policy
By Tyler Johnson July 1, 2024"
"BESA Intern Insights No. 1, July 2024
"EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: "...In Asia, Israel’s defense ties with India, South Korea, and the Philippines have bolstered its geopolitical influence, while in Europe, its advanced missile defense systems have become crucial amidst the Russian-Ukrainian conflict. Despite the ongoing war with Hamas and its repercussions on international relations, Israel’s defense industry continues to play an integral role in its foreign policy."
"The Israeli weapons industry, as an extension of the Israeli government, acts in an essential diplomatic and foreign relations capacity. Through the remarkable technological achievements of the weapons industry, Israel has emerged as a world leader, particularly in air defense, medium UAV production, avionics equipment, and cybersecurity.
"Though the United States remains the biggest arms seller worldwide, Israel has the unique geopolitical position to further diplomatic, foreign relations, and national security goals through the export of weapons to countries around the world. Though exports alone are not enough to influence voting trends among recipients of Israeli weapons exports in the United Nations, it nonetheless creates both a mutually beneficial relationship, as well as a network of dependents for Israeli weapons that has the potential to supersede international pressures."
Background
"Israel, from a place of necessity as much as pure technological prowess, has always strived to maintain autonomous weapons production, knowing that most of the international community would not provide diplomatic recognition, much less arms support. France, having initially been Israel’s largest supplier of arms since the establishment of the state, subjected Israel to an arms embargo prior to the Six-Day War in 1967, causing Israel to shift to domestic production and attain a large level of self-sufficiency to bypass any future embargoes altogether. This led to the state directly owning many of Israel’s defense companies until the present, such as Rafael Advanced Systems and Israel Aerospace Industries."
"Asia"
"Though the current war against Hamas has exacerbated Israel’s international standing, in the past, India has abstained on several United Nations resolutions condemning Israel."
"...Similarly, the Philippines has long been an ally of Israel as the only Asian country to vote for the U.N. partition plan in 1947. Though economic ties with the Philippines remain less critical than those with other Asian trade partners, in the last decade, Israel has expanded its relationship with the Philippines and supplied their military with patrol ships, armored personnel carriers, missiles, firearms, and electronics systems. SIPRI listed the Philippines as the third largest importer of Israeli weapons, and with tension rising in the South China Sea over territorial disputes and freedom of navigation, Israel has become an important security partner for the Philippines. Sympathy for Israel is strong in the Philippines, particularly after Israel rescued Filipino workers that Hamas had taken hostage on October 7th."
"Though the Ministry of Defense prefers to keep much of its arms export data classified, many recipients of Israeli defense infrastructure publicly tout their purchases as an open secret..."
Stephen Walker, while agreeing with everything you have said here, that most Arab states are artificially constructed vassals, they are also American bases bristling with weapons and thousands of American soldiers. They have no say except the luxury of living in gilded cages.
>>"But what I've always wondered since October 7th is why none of the Arab nations..."
For that, you have to read/learn the deep history of the MENA (Middle east and North Africa) region.
Here is a simple (and very incomplete) explanation ->
Authoritarian regimes in general often suffer from legitimacy crises and thus see any grassroots activism and mobilization of citizens as potentially threatening. This is the case irrespective of what cause brings the people together. Most Arab governments want to co-opt and regulate such movements and prevent them from ever challenging regime-backed narratives and interests.
Palestine exposes the varous Arab regimes' vulnerabilities. On one hand, Arab regimes must cater to public opinion by making mostly symbolic and token gestures in support of the Palestinian cause. On the other hand, no Arab state wants to confront Israel. For many of them, this has much to do with their relations with the United States on which they rely for security and, in some cases, as a source of critical financial assistance.
There is also a 'Game of Thrones' thingy going on with many of the countries in the MENA region - hence, the relationships (and history) are quite complex.
According to Wikipedia: In October 1973, the Organization of Arab Petroleum Exporting Countries (OAPEC) announced that it was implementing a total oil embargo against countries that had supported Israel at any point during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, which began after Egypt and Syria launched a large-scale surprise attack in an ultimately unsuccessful attempt to recover the territories that they had lost to Israel during the 1967 Six-Day War.
>>"Is it safe to say then that that "Arab solidarity" no longer exists and that only the Yemenis truly stand with the Palestinians?"
Yes. Arab 'solidarity' never truly existed. Each country was looking out for its own interests and security, and aligned temporarily (on-and-off) when it needed to apply pressure on the U.S. This continues to this day, with many oil producing countries courting both China and the U.S., and Saudi Arabia competing AND cooperating with Iran. To repeat, the MENA region has a complicated history/relationships that go in all directions at different points in time.
>>"So how the fuck does this horrible nightmare end?"
There are no good/satisfying/acceptable answers here. IMHO, it ends when the U.S. Empire ends...I don't see any other way of this nightmare ending (in favor of the Palestinians).
There once was a time when Arab unity was on the agenda, but those were the days of Nasser, and he, and his influence have long been destroyed by Western interests.
Caitlin, I just heard/watched a video by an Israeli Arab Jew, a Mizrahi (also his last name). Please watch it. He knows Israeli society from the inside and he describes its psychopathy with much depth and insight. He shines a light on the incomprehensible.
"...Nobody who’s calling the shots in Washington and Tel Aviv has any interest in actually ending this genocide. "
This is absolutely true. The mass murdering will continue in Palestine as long as the oligarchs' war machine profits from this holocaust of innocents. Israel is truly poison--and it's time it got a big dose of its own fatal "medicine."
Daniel Raab is a coward as are all snipers who train their sights on unsuspecting, unarmed people who pose no threat to them. Exposing him as a cold blooded killer will be meaningless to him. What next for hero Daniel? Learn to operate drones to kill even more helpless people? He sounds like a natural for the job.
Of course members of their family were “Holocaust survivors” !!! That’s the justification for everything.
I doubt members of his family are old enough to be holocaust survivers, I'm eighty-five now and was a foetus when WWII started, so anyone still alive has to be at least older than me by a few years because, we were told that babies born in the internment camps were immediately killed, unless born of rape by a Gestapo officer and given to a German Nazi family, so would have no memory of the holocaust except as not being involved - as none were 🙄
I doubt if he's even jewish! Israel is attracting every kind of pervert and psychopath into its army! They should never be allowed back into decent society!
Being hollowcaust "survivor" or its descendent does not give any right to kill innocent people in their homes on their land in their country. But the fascist genocidal west thinks the whole planet belongs to them only. Western "civilization" led by judeo-nazis is the cancer of the planet and humanity.
Because many aren't survivors as we understand. They count just about any Jew who was somewhere in Europe or even farther away that time Holocaust survivor. Even brittish. And those who left quite a long time before anything happened.
Also... If surviving one of the work camps... Being put in a work or concentration camp obviously is also condemnable. But it also means these people were not actively killed. And also not starved to death. Pretty much the excuse zionists make pointing at the survivors in Gaza so far, that hey not all are dead so it isn't a genocide.
If you went up to a Zionist and said "imagine if you saw your own brother shot and dying in the street, would you want to help him?" They would look at you like you are a lunatic and say something like "It's not the same - we are Jewish". They literally dont think non-jews are people, especially Arabs.
The Axis of Genocide is Israel and USA. Like the nazis, they are conducting a genocide, and looking to enlargen their Vaterland. If the US is part of the genocide, and every datum says it is, then we need other Nation's forces to combine together to stop their genocide. Clearly the offers from Israel and US to end the genocide were disingenuous efforts to delay international groups from organizing an independent way to end the genocide. Clearly BDS is partially effective, but going against billions of immoral war investments in this genocide from cowardly accomplice Nations like Australia, Canada, Britain, and India. Who are authoritarian regimes (maybe even States) who oppress their own people's right to dissent from this genocide, and quietly move billions to Israel. The US is prime accomplice and most culpable (after Israel). The US has demonstrated as much willingness to slaughter populations directly (Vietnam and Iraq) and indirectly (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indonesian_mass_killings_of_1965%E2%80%9366#Foreign_involvement and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1953_Iranian_coup_d%27%C3%A9tat) as Zionists have since the 1920s (pre-Israel zionists like Haganah), so future psychopathic imperialism from both is to be expected, until they are internationally Sanctioned and Boycotted. History suggests that these psychopaths will only 'go to the naughty room and reflect on their behavior' when they are forced to. This conflict may require military resistance from the rest of the world, so a multinational force of Allies willing and able to fight both the Israeli genociders, and their world's most powerful military accomplices. The UN has https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Responsibility_to_protect the millions of Arab victims of this Axis of Genocide. Given the US is clearly determined to dominate both its own residents and the rest of the world militarily, Given the US keeps supporting Israel attacks on the UN, I suggest the US should be suspended from the UN for 1 year. For the same reason, I suggest that the UN Security Council, or at least its criminally abusive veto powers, need to end. Please step up, leaders of the world! Please replace the Axis of Genocide. Whether with https://thehaguegroup.org/home/, or the UNGA 'Uniting for Peace' (https://legal.un.org/avl/ha/ufp/ufp.html), or some other movement, it needs to catch up, to help protect Palestine!
More people need to know about this story about Daniel the sniper. Spread the message far and wide. If that had been front page news across the spectrum of the MSM at the time we’d be in a different place now. Fewer people would be ignorant about this now and pressure on governments greater. I have seen polling that shows people in Germany believe that the approx death toll in Gaza is 10,000 and not 65000+! Who TF is responsible for that? Our ‘free’ media???
If we look at one case of how an "Israeli" soldier killls with no remorse, and even pleasure, give a thought to what happens when native Israeli soldier return to society. This will be a long term problem that Israel doesn't even want to think about.
A coward sniping unsuspecting civilians. Typical of the "western heroes" and celebrated in their respective fascist shitholes. West has always celebrated cowards and murderers as "heroes". Killing unarmed defenseless civilians is "western heroism". How disgusting this world is. Here is your western "freedom, democracy, and human rights".
Yet again I am asking myself why there is no international protection for the flotilla, which is sailing perfectly legally in international waters? How does Israel get to threaten and murder civilians anywhere in the world without even an outcry, let alone consequences?
If they truly are running the entire planet, we might just as well succumb to them. Give in. Accept it. Some days that would be easier than listening to the ridiculous excuses and lies. But if they are not, then where is the condemnation for atrocities perpetrated outside their territory (or the territory they want)?
Thanks to all the gaslighting and outright lies, I am now so cynical about everything our politicians say that even if the IOF murdered Greta Thunberg and others on the flotilla, it would most likely be treated as just another news blip like the World Central Kitchen massacre.
These people are depraved and only the old colonial settler states are saving them from being held accountable for their horrific sadism. Spoiler alert: the handful of complicit western states are on the way out, US imperialism and Israel are in their last days. A dying mule kicks the hardest.
Our bipartisan senators and congresspersons who support this administration after it’s made clear it backs peace assassinations, ethnic cleaning, annexation of the Palestinian Territories, and genocide must be voted out
They’ve attacked two new countries in two days: Tunisia and Qatar. Don't forget slimy German chancellor Merz saying Israel "does the West's dirty work"!
Ah but thats the rub, we don`t want to remember. A text book case of mass Cognitive Dissonance

The U.S. Empire and Israel are PURE EVIL!!!
And don't forget, it's likely the Zionists have sleeper cells in every community ready to punish you if you don't submit.
What happens in Gaza will come home eventually.
Then we create our own sleeper cells, and make their start disappearing.
There really is no end to which genociding Zionists will go.

Yes, they have their own competing agendas, but it is NOT triangulated against the US/Zionist empire's agenda.
What did you not understand?
Didn't Blinken ask Qatar to tone down the Al Jazeera coverage of the Palestinians?
https://www.axios.com/2023/10/25/tony-blinken-qatar-israel-hamas
I'm curious as to why Qatar still stands behind AJ English's solid Palestinian coverage if they really want to curry favor with the US?
Trump & Co. would love nothing more if people knew and saw less genocide on TV....
Presumably they could in fact tone down the coverage if they wanted to.

Yeah, they understand money. Just like the rest of the world. It is difficult to think how we will pull ourselves out of this.

Is it safe to say then that that "Arab solidarity" no longer exists and that only the Yemenis truly stand with the Palestinians?
>>"Is it safe to say then that that "Arab solidarity" no longer exists and that only the Yemenis truly stand with the Palestinians?"
Yes. Arab 'solidarity' never truly existed. Each country was looking out for its own interests and security, and aligned temporarily (on-and-off) when it needed to apply pressure on the U.S. This continues to this day, with many oil producing countries courting both China and the U.S., and Saudi Arabia competing AND cooperating with Iran. To repeat, the MENA region has a complicated history/relationships that go in all directions at different points in time.
No country with any significant political influence (Saudi, China, etc) seems perturbed enough to take a stand.
Former human rights lawyer turned genocide-enabling PM invites Trump for a state dinner.
And Macron supposedly plans to recognize Palestine at the UN GA assembly this month without any further concrete steps.
So how the fuck does this horrible nightmare end?
>>"So how the fuck does this horrible nightmare end?"
There are no good/satisfying/acceptable answers here. IMHO, it ends when the U.S. Empire ends...I don't see any other way of this nightmare ending (in favor of the Palestinians).
There once was a time when Arab unity was on the agenda, but those were the days of Nasser, and he, and his influence have long been destroyed by Western interests.
Because the US owns them.
How is that U.S. base in Qatar? Has it been hit by Iran again? Off to hope, change, believe. End Israel.
I guess it's a question of not biting the hand that feeds you.

IT ALSO DEPENDS ON HOW "JEWISH IS BEING DEFINED TODAY. ARE THEY A RACE, RELIGION, A CULTURE, AN ETHNICITY, ETC., ETC. ETC.
Being hollowcaust "survivor" or its descendent does not give any right to kill innocent people in their homes on their land in their country. But the fascist genocidal west thinks the whole planet belongs to them only. Western "civilization" led by judeo-nazis is the cancer of the planet and humanity.
He's supposedly a grandson of a survivor. If he's late 20's that's perfectly feasible - it didn't say his grandparents were alive
Not suggesting that's any kind of excuse. In fact I simply can't get my head around why holocaust survivors aren't more holocaust-averse
Because many aren't survivors as we understand. They count just about any Jew who was somewhere in Europe or even farther away that time Holocaust survivor. Even brittish. And those who left quite a long time before anything happened.
... Doesn't explain all, but part of it.
Yes. So if this isn't a genocide, then nor was the 'other' one.
You cant even reason with these people.
Yes, the Zionist entity poisons the world, like a massive sulphur candle. In a confined space.
Allahu Akbar!
We don't care about them. They deserve at minimum to kill each other. I doubt anyone here or 95% humanity will care about israelis and judeo-nazis.
Sadly true.
But I would expect Tunisia to at least complain a little bit. You'd think their feelings would be at least a tiny bit hurt.
These people are depraved and only the old colonial settler states are saving them from being held accountable for their horrific sadism. Spoiler alert: the handful of complicit western states are on the way out, US imperialism and Israel are in their last days. A dying mule kicks the hardest.
Couldn't come soon enough
Our bipartisan senators and congresspersons who support this administration after it’s made clear it backs peace assassinations, ethnic cleaning, annexation of the Palestinian Territories, and genocide must be voted out
That would empty out American, English, German and some other politicians. Which would be a good start to cleaning up the subscribers of genocide.
i feel there's no more time to wait for that. que se vayan todos.
Thank you, Caitlin.
