More from the beautiful mind of an angel of peace - I am deeply touched by the humanity of all this

I love your poem and I am sharing it soon at a live mic night. I hope that is okay and I will give credit to you and tell people about where to find. you. I will donate soon as my next SS check comes in but don't count on more than 5-10 dollars. Sometimes I do wish I didn't live so close to the bone so that I am more able to support others I believe in, but I chose poverty some 30 years ago cause I knew US standard of living was something that could not be supported worldwide. Planet can't, we shouldn't try and promote it. I do what I can on a weekly basis with my home made flip signs. This week I had BUILD INFRASTRUCTURE NOT WEAPONS, and on the flip side: DIPLOMACY NOT WAR. Not funny Biden's platform was all about diplomacy and then the opportunity to exercise it, he throws a whole nation in as cannon fodder and many others under the bus. My next flip sign is going to be: THEY MURDERED THE BEST. other side: WE ARE STUCK WITH THE REST. :)

I love the ending:

Humanity is not broken

anymore than an egg

is a broken bird.

Very hopeful.

So profound... I struggle with hope so much as I'm deeply aware of so much grieving and bereavement, crass injustice and pure evil... your poem is a beautiful angel's egg, Caitlin... Thank you. ♥

I'm thinking of using it for a spoken word song, would that be OK?

Blessings to you and Tim,

Andre

Its a pleasure to hang out with crazy angels looking at death in the face unafraid to speak the language of the living.

I tore down these billboards saying to support nUkraine.

And the ones underneath to go get injected

And the ones underneath that about the Patriot act

Under that was special private ads to support Vietnam war

Couldn't tear those down

"May there be kindness,

may there be seeing,

may there be artist lovers who are each other's muse."

That would be my husband, my artist lover and muse. He celebrated his 61st birthday yesterday when you posted this lovely poem. Thank you!

Lovely poem, but let's not quit yet. People are confused. Some idiot just criticized me for not being charitable because I'm against supporting the war in Ukraine with my government's funds. And killing every last Ukrainian. And subjecting a lot of people to massive inflation So dumb it makes you scream inside. But maybe it's a question of education, and de-programming? Hope so.

Sometimes I think about the phrase being in the world but not of it. It seems important to be as informed as possible without obsessing and simultaneously cultivating peace like a river.

So, you know, Cuba was not the last time that we almost had a nuclear Armageddon, it was a few years ago, but for some unexplained reason all the launch mechanisms failed, of course I was called a filthy liar, that all systems were working just fine; but the thing was, was that it took them a week to get back to me whereas usually if they don't like what I post I am attacked almost instantly.

It used to bug the hell out of me whenever I'd read in the Bible something like this, "this was done to fulfill the prophesy", sounded so much like scamville, but lately I'm beginning to realize that the reason God prefers to do his/her work through human actors is because God neither needs or wants our love, what God wants is for us to love each other, that's why we were created via whatever means God chose. I doubt that God will allow a nuclear war, though I highly doubt that God will intervene on our behalf, a mouse trap has been set and these filthy little rats that run Western Civilization will become a thing of the past, and I say this for two reasons.

The first reason is because no matter what the faith psychopaths almost always tell you ahead of time what they're going to do to you before hand, and second, they're so cock sure of themselves that no matter what you say to them, they'll never hear a word you say. Rest assured that God has made sure that the rule of psychopaths is over.
