I was just watching a gaggle of blue-checkmarked narrative managers attack progressive commentators Katie Halper and Briahna Joy Gray on Twitter for platforming antiwar journalist Rania Khalek on the grounds that Khalek is an "Assadist", which is imperialist for "someone who opposes western imperialism in Syria".
Caitlin refers to "oligarchic imperialism," not to "American imperialism." This is an important distinction. As we are learning, the Empire is not controlled by US voters or even US politicians. It's controlled a class of super wealthy people who control and have vested interests in multinational mega-corporations. Some are US citizens; some British, some Israeli or otherwise Zionist, some French or some other European nationality. None of them feel any allegiance to the country(ies) where they hold formal citizenship. They are committed to Davos, WEF, the globalist/technocrat ideology, etc. Certainly US elites have some influence, but it could be argued that the British Foreign Office has even more, though neither can truly be said to be in 100% control.
Well done, Caitlin. I do have a minor criticism of the following statement, "If you were a Jew living in the Holy Roman Empire, for example, the door would be closed to you from ever holding a position of power or influence over the mainstream population." While that's true of the AVERAGE Jew, many Jews from rich banking or merchant families were appointed to high office to carry out the unpopular policies of the rulers. Such "court Jews" were loyal to their own wealth and power and to those who appointed them. They cared little for poor Gentiles or even average Jews. Part of their role was to be the scapegoat for their employers, so when their policies became so oppressive that people revolted, they often took their anger out on average Jews rather than the "court Jews," who either fled or were protected by their employers.
The last eight chairmen of the Federal Reserve Bank, the CEO's, Presidents and VP's of all the major media networks, the wealthiest donors pulling the purse strings of both Democratic and Republican parties, and the neo-conservative warmongers still pushing the US military into wars against the enemies of Israel in the Middle East, the anti-Corbyn forces in the Labor party that wrecked the Left in the UK, the Marxist founders of BLM and Antifa, the MEGA group billionaires funding Epstein's sexual blackmail network to elevate easily controlled kiddie fuckers into positions of power in Western democracies, the perpetrators and sole beneficiaries of the 9/11 false flag psy-op and the WMD's in Iraq deception, and the real killers of the Kennedy's - they all come from the same tribe. And nothing will get you thrown out of public life faster than daring to utter their name.
According to the imperial media there is literally no connection between the fact of the USA's over 800 military bases across the world and the American people not having Single Payer healthcare.
All propaganda is based on truth, and there really isn't a connection between wasting money on military bases and refusing to save money by enacting Single Payer. We can definitely continue to waste money on the military while continuing to waste money on the current healthcare system. Neither are bugs, but features. It's a win-win situation!
My point was that the people's needs are always a far distant second or 12th to the massive military budget that the DEMS insisted be even bigger than the obscene amount Trump asked for. The DEMS did that twice, giving the guy they call unfit and unhinged the biggest military budgets in history. While the so-called liberal DEMS won't even do a healthcare program that most conservatives in other countries do.
I understood your point and agree about the Dems, but there really is no connection between wasting money on the military and the Dems unwillingness to make Single Payer a priority. That's evident from the "How are we going to pay for that?" hypocrisy, when Single Payer will actually save money if you look at the entire economy. The real reason the Dems won't support Single Payer is that they're in the pocket of the entire health care industry, but unlike the Republicans they lie about it.
It's been what, a week (?) since the last event Rania spoke at got blasted by these Blue Check imperialists. They even got British MP Diane Abbot to denounce the No Cold War event that she spoke at because someone there was denying "massacres of Uighers" in Xinjiang. Those totally really and evidentially supported massacres that are happening... I'm glad Katie has more guts than Diane Abbot who's party already rolled over to a fake anti-semitism coup.
Abbott is a mentally ill woman who should have been gently advised to retire from public life. Instead the fool Corbyn kept her and other electorally toxic assets front and centre.
Ye dare question the sanctity of our glorious Empire?! Who else will bring Freedom and Democracy and Free Market Capitalism to the masses of unwashed heathens?! Who but our supremely noble imperial leaders have the majestic wisdom and purity of heart to rule the planet, by the heavenly mandate of Full Spectrum Dominance?! Who else has the selfless compassion to save the world's wretches from their Evil Dictators with our infinitely noble and supreme armed forces?! It was our own glorious society that tamed the mud dwelling savages of our God Given lands, who tamed those misinformation terrorists of the Old Internet, who subdued illegitimate speech and ideas from home, and from the cold and backward wastes of Russia!!
Yes, there is a “cabal” of wealthy Jewish oligarchs who have obscene levels of power in the West, and via the American superpower, functionally have “taken over the world.” Everyone who bothers to look can see that they control high positions in government, banks, international finance, and the news media. They want to disarm the police. They promote homosexuality and pedophilia. And they openly plan to mongrelize the white race with open-borders and multiculturalism so it will lose its essential power.
And the big secret is that these Jewish oligarchs are free to exercize absolute power with total impunity because no one is allowed to talk about it. Of course, you'd have to be delusional by now not to have noticed who is running the show, but anyone who dares to utter their name is immediately called an evil racist Nazi and removed from public life forever. But we are not being oppressed by evil racist Nazis today, we are being oppressed by the Anglo-Zionist victors of WW2, and this internalional Jewish oligarchy wants you broke, dead, your kids raped and brainwshed and they think its hilarious - because no one is allowed to talk about it. We'd all prefer our total extinction instead, right?
All to often we spend entirely to much time throughout our life conforming to the minds of others in desperate hopes to acquire their fickle approval believing we will be liked.
In the end, we not only dislike ourself, we dislike their approval, knowing we lost our own mind in the process of progressively selling our soul to those terrorist who have a rich history in buying blackmailing and selling everyone and every other tribe for a profit under the table in the guise of liberation and inclusion.
We cannot turn the money changers tables if we dont tell the courageous truth and knock out the legs holding the bipedal global gangsters Usury kingdom upright.
I lost approx. 4,000 of my 5,000 online friends after I took 6 months off social media and researched WWI and WWII and then came out with both pistols blazing regarding the untouchable holohoax, the Kennedy assassinations and 9-11. I'm just as slow, naive and programmed as everyone else, but hopefully I'm not too dumb or cowardly, because once you come to see the real conflict by recognizing the real terrorist, you can never unsee them, or their monstrous effrontery. And its not easy unpacking all the big lies of the 20th century and facing up to the consequences of telling the truth in a time of universal deceit: you have no choice but to become a so-called "hater" who tells the truth out of love for others freedom and human rights and who must be silenced and sent to the cyber gulag of social shame for doing so. But its mind numbingly painful putting up with their mountain of lies while watching our gentile leaders grovel in the political mud of divisive backstabbing democracy, desperate for the approval and the dirty money of these soul robbing predatory lying passive aggressive arrogant condescending loud mouths with the permanent protections of world-historical victim-status. How long do they get to boast and bully with political immunity? Anyway, this brave man from Renegade unpacks the ramifications of the biggest hoax of the 20th century much better than this newbie rookie can. http://www.renegadetribune.com/the-function-of-the-holocaust-in-the-world-since-1945/?fbclid=IwAR2jYTXH876FjhhE66giLf857nzWWYDClWT4JXdr0u67ljI64MUc3xF6InU
Thanks for pointing that out. Caitlin has been called "alt-right" in the past, I suppose for her criticism of Democrats. So she might be a bit over-sensitive, but I do wonder what "racist" means in an environment where you're a racist simply for denying that all whites are racists.
The problem with the anti-war Left in the USA and UK is they too suffer from a phobia about Russia it is a different stream of the phobia but it compounds their ignorance. The less they know about Russia both as a society and official policy nuances the weaker and less effective their ability to articulate a stronger better informed case, against all the madness on all the issues. At the same time their lack of criticism and critical assessment of Venezuela's leaders and policies both under the late Chavez and continued under Maduro is a phobic, cowardly and dogma based as their fear of complimenting President Putin for his many achievements. Twenty plus years ago both the Russian Federation and Venezuela were in a very similar place. Devastated countries left with little more than a single card-play of Oil to feed their people. Twenty years later there is a massive contrast. Russia has diversified 60% of their economy and in a few short years that will be 80%. For all its remaining socio-economic issues (that have more to do with conforming to the global neo-liberal economic model hence similar social problems in country after country) the Russian Federation is a transformed nation from the brink of utter ruin to a thriving dynamic nation with a strong Civil Society and democratic institutions. That despite all the cynicism from within and from outside represents an extraordinary level of development in only twenty years. Russia literally had never been a democracy ever before in their entire history. In 2012 the Russian Federal election commission introduced new systems for polling stations, voting and anti-fraud measures including open video monitoring of all polling stations that the public can view on-line. That received high praise from the 1500 international election observers during the March 2018 Presidential election ( the election-day ballot paper looked more like a US primary ballot with eight candidates including incumbent President Putin). A reasonable person would ask how much electoral development was there in the USA between 1776 and 1796 ? Okay societal progress was much slower in the those days. So ask yourself how much electoral progress was there between 1776 and 1876 in the USA ? Russians do bitch and moan about everything and the younger ones bitch and moan about President Putin all the time. They have a sugar-coated view of The West and fail to comprehend that both their bitching and moaning and their entire lifestyle is evidence of the progress of their country in the last twenty years. They are like teenagers who hate everything about their uncool parents failing to comprehend how their entire lifestyle and luxury to bitch and moan is built on everything their parents have done for them.
Wow... you must have lived in Russia all your life to speak so confidently. While we can genuinely debate about the positive developments, there’s no notion more preposterous than calling Russia a democracy.
Ha! Calling the US a democracy after the Nov 3 debacle is far more preposterous than calling Russia a democracy. Even China is more democratic than the US. They at least must rule under the guidance of the Mandate of Heaven.
I get your irony but China is nothing of a democracy everything is controlled there. I find it very annoying that Russia is always spoken in the same breath as China by all sides in US politics as if they are similar or cut from the same cloth. In China there is no diversity of opinion or media views tolerated. There are no competing political parties, no regions run by opposition, no free internet, no common protests, no vibrant civil society in opposition to the ruling party etc. Russia has all those things and more.
Yes, China is very authoritarian, which is what the technocrats want in the West and are now likely to achieve given a Biden Presidency. However, the Chinese authorities actually believe in "Chinese characteristics." That includes a belief in the Mandate of Heaven, which requires them to rule in the ACTUAL best interests of the people. They truly believe that a violation of that mandate will eventually result in a bloody revolt. In that sense, they respect the "demos" and as a result are more democratic than Western technocratic globalists, who care only about their own relatively short term control and are incapable of looking to the long term future other than how they and their progeny might benefit.
Well I don't know as much about China as I do Russia. I do know the surveillance in China is off the chart. What you say about delivering a good standard of living to the populace may well be true but there is still a lot less freedom than in Russia.
endless praise for the Shawshank Redemption prison wardens Biden and Harris.
You have the utter nerve to question Russia's status as a democracy while praising Biden the guy who installed Fascists and Neo-Nazis into power in Ukraine in 2014. After which he personally launched his Donbass War. Biden's Neo-Nazi allies carried out the May 2014 horrific Odessa Massacre. Meanwhile in California Kamala Harris was keeping innocent people on death row, preventing prisoners who had served their sentence from being released and using prisoners as slave-labor.
I appreciate that you took the time to look at my profile. But I’m sorry that you chose to mischaracterize it so egregiously in your reply. Maybe you only saw what you wanted to see, I’m not sure. I most certainly do not endlessly praise Biden/Harris. As a matter of fact I don’t praise anyone on my Twitter. I LIKE certain tweets from other people. I SOMETIMES retweet, but rarely comment.
You can’t make conclusions about my positions/views just based on that.
For example, my tweet likes of Biden win are SOLELY in celebration of Trump defeat, and not support/praise of president elect. I could go on but I’d actually really like you to reply here with sources I can go to to learn more about these indictments.
Democracy comes in many forms. Russian Civil Society is vibrant and effective and listened to. My points are made clear in my main post. I stand by every word.
I get this kind of infantile response from all sides. I earlier left a critical comment about this missile launch https://www.rt.com/russia/507863-anti-ballistic-missile-system/ and one guy called me a "liberal" and told me to go spend time with "your boyfriend" . It is sad that Russians like Americans are infantile on both sides of the national divide.
It certainly does. But there’s no need to call my response infantile. Ad hominems are tiresome and boring and ruin a good conversation. Maybe I shouldn’t have said preposterous either.
Respect that you stand by every word. But I suggest maybe applying a more nuanced and critical approach here. What I am trying to say is that at the moment Russia is not quite the triumph of democracy. Unless you and I have deep fundamental views on what a democracy is. That’s all.
Bottom line is this. There is a mindset in the West that condemns Russia for not achieving in 20 years what the USA has not achieved be in 160 years since the end of the Civil War or 250 years since the launch of the USA.
Again you have failed to comprehend the obvious. Democracy maybe a constant struggle in Russia but the vitality of that struggle is democracy in itself. Russia is the last bastion of the line of defence against those who would wipe democracy from the earth along with basic human decency. Just look at the hyper authoritarian methods of UK PM and other Western leaders in dealing with the Covid pandemic. Versus the devolved policy of the Putin Admin where it is up to the Governors of the Regions and big city Mayors to determine the grade of the lockdown.

Things really haven't changed much.

The irony of a full throated denunciation of oligarchic tyranny followed by permission of everyone but racist platforms to disseminate this article.
