Caitlin refers to "oligarchic imperialism," not to "American imperialism." This is an important distinction. As we are learning, the Empire is not controlled by US voters or even US politicians. It's controlled a class of super wealthy people who control and have vested interests in multinational mega-corporations. Some are US citizens; some British, some Israeli or otherwise Zionist, some French or some other European nationality. None of them feel any allegiance to the country(ies) where they hold formal citizenship. They are committed to Davos, WEF, the globalist/technocrat ideology, etc. Certainly US elites have some influence, but it could be argued that the British Foreign Office has even more, though neither can truly be said to be in 100% control.

Well done, Caitlin. I do have a minor criticism of the following statement, "If you were a Jew living in the Holy Roman Empire, for example, the door would be closed to you from ever holding a position of power or influence over the mainstream population." While that's true of the AVERAGE Jew, many Jews from rich banking or merchant families were appointed to high office to carry out the unpopular policies of the rulers. Such "court Jews" were loyal to their own wealth and power and to those who appointed them. They cared little for poor Gentiles or even average Jews. Part of their role was to be the scapegoat for their employers, so when their policies became so oppressive that people revolted, they often took their anger out on average Jews rather than the "court Jews," who either fled or were protected by their employers.

Things really haven't changed much.

According to the imperial media there is literally no connection between the fact of the USA's over 800 military bases across the world and the American people not having Single Payer healthcare.
