The Iranians strike me as some damn brilliant folks.

Meanwhile the US chokes on its Hubris and the cowardice of its careerists who can't say "no" to war and its profits.

"The Iranians strike me as some damn brilliant folks."

Brilliance, something the world could use plenty of, regardless its origins, to address global warming, global poverty, global disease, global food security, global education, global... Zionists and exploitive capitalists see it only applicable to developing fancier weapons to kill and shadier financial schemes to dupe.

Indu Abeysekara's avatar

Vin LoPresti, Iranians are teaching us that Resistance is possible!

Landru's avatar

Yes my friend. I am so proud of the Iranian people standing for humanity.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I wish they'd get to choking so much that speech would end, like Trump's latest offering of " We'll probably drop a few more bombs for fun".

Disgusting, sickening and wouldn't those words said on a live television program come under war crimes?

Chetzmom4's avatar

Yes, and the Dems in DC, SAY NOTHING. It is ONE Party Under Mizz Izzy.

AOCIA and Bernie the Butcher, SAY NOTHING but BS platitudes. Weak? NO. Collusion.

Veronica Baker's avatar

Two sides of the same coin as always.

Rosalind Dalefield's avatar

or, as George Galloway so eloquently put it, two cheeks of the same arse.

Veronica Baker's avatar

He definitely did 😆😂

ShastaBetty's avatar

I didn't hear that one out of his mouth. Didn't Bibi say something very similar? Yes, sickening in the extreme. He and Bibi are two of a kind.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I always watch JantaKa Reporter, Rifat Jawaid keeps up with the news pretty well couple times a day, he put up the clip this morning of Trump saying it on some television show.

Definitely two of a kind.

Landru's avatar

Yes, but then someone would have to prosecute him outside the u.s. As Genocide Don's mental illness completely takes over his remaining brain cells. I am hoping he decides he would like a trip to Ireland and the Heroic people of Ireland parts out justice : )

PForty7's avatar

The Great Chess War. I had no idea. You must get under their skins a lot. Which is not a bad thing in chess.

Landru's avatar

I think everyone I know thinks that. I am not easy, even my Mother would say that ha. true. My Uncles who were teachers after serving in the Army in Berlin. They served for school, taught me to play before I started school. I think that influenced my life in a good way. My Ex-wife would say no I think ha.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I actually don't buy into the story of his mental illness, he's always been the same, he's always waffled on talking about things he really shouldn't be doing. Egotistical, yes. Evil and cruel, most definitely. A narcissistic, selfish man, for sure. But I will never give him an easy cop out of he's mentally ill, or dementia ridden. As those were my fields when I worked, I don't give a rats arse what simpering US doctors guess.

Landru's avatar

Just speaking from my experience with my Mother's dementia. I could see his dementia as I did with Ronald Reagan, Genocide Joe's dementia. There are many clues the illness gives people who have dealt with the disease. By the time the general population says, he is mentally ill, they have been suffering for near 8-10 years. Family usually covers for them. The classic, Genocide Joe sniffing the little girls hair. Genocide Don, within a min. completely walks back everything he said mins prior, while calling Gov. Newsome President. Watch Nancy and Ron being interviewed in the Rose Garden that no longer exists.

Nancy, feeds Ron the answers to the questions forgetting Ron is wearing a mic. She whispers, he parrots. I had a link however the site no longer exists.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I came back to add this, which very likely is happening. More than once someone used to be sent to where I worked on a doctor's advice of dementia, smell is a useful sense to use and I soon realized by smell alone that this person hadn't gotten dementia but she/he had a severe urine infection, after getting them treatment, a week later they were as clear headed as they used to be.

Severe urine infections and blockages affect the brain and mimic dementia, given the state of Trump's general health, his appalling diet, so many people mentioning he doesn't smell good to be near, he could easily be suffering a lot of urine infections. Because of his personality I doubt he would get an infection sorted in its early stages and so it could explain those dementia like symptoms. I should have explained that last night.

Landru's avatar

Sorry, he has near weekly doctors exams. He has a personal physician.

My Sister as well works as a Nurse in Memory Care. Our Mother's condition inspired her to change her practice. Hopefully this disease is solved with something as simple as you suggest. Thank you for the info.

Veronica Baker's avatar

My speciality was working with Alzheimer's and Dementia at every stage. I also nursed my grandmother up close and personal through it.

All I see with Trump is how he always acted, an easily distracted man who says whatever is in his head. He had a big turnover in his staff first term because of it, the way it put them in awkward situations.

Still, I'm not going to argue with you about it, we can agree to disagree and leave it at that. It doesn't alter the situation anyone's in. Love you.

Can't say No because they have the pictures of their pedophelia activities, their bribery cash, and their kissing the wall.

We're all going to choke, if people continue to obey these lunatics. We got to stop howling at the psychopaths who couldn't survive a day without the blind obedience of their disposal servants. Ground troops to Iran! If there is not a coupe or impeachment of this crusader regime we're going to see young people drafted again,

Chetzmom4's avatar

2026 is the 250 USA Anniversary. If They start the Draft again here... you'll see another Revolution. People don't want this war... particularly when its OBVIOUSLY the Poor going off to be cannon fodder for the Epstein Class. ✌️

tre peperoncini's avatar

Yes, a civil war , revolution is not to be ruled out, but look how long it took the American public to demand and end to the Vietnam war?

The majority of American public, actually the majority of Collect West populous is ignorant of what is unfolding right now, what do you think will happen when there are fuel shortages in India Indonesia, Philippines, Korea, Japan and elsewhere.

The regime in Washington is on a crusade, you can not reason with crusaders, their on mission from their god. Look at the what is happening, the Christian Fundamentalist and Zionist psychopaths are delighted, they are emboldened by this holy war.

There's no massive anti-war protests happening in the US, but there are 5,000 marines on their way to gulf, and when they start returning home to the US in body bags, will it fuel anti-war protests or will it rally the public for revenge ?

People have been watching death and destruction for decades, they have been watching the destruction Gaza, who lifted a finger to stop them, who sent them weapons, who provided the funding for the regime to continue the ethic cleansing.

Yes, people don't want war, but somehow amazingly, they allow their sons, daughters, fathers, wives, brothers and sisters , to go off to fight?

Vin LoPresti's avatar

Now there ain't no riots in the ghetto, no more marchin' in the streets

But the lootin' is real and the killin' goes on, and the blame is restin' at our feet

Like dirt it's fallin' under our feet.

Out of hand comes the murder, out of hand the deadly jolt.

We've gotten out of hand and we're gonna suffer

For the bloodless silence that we bore

For the quiet minutes that we stole.

Landru's avatar

That is intense my friend. The Nation of Caitlin should use this as a motto.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

It's a song "Out of Hand", from my band in the '80s, & I'm getting a bit of reaction to these lyrics, so I'm going to post the track & full lyrics on my substack, perhaps. It's as relevant -- or more so -- now as then,

https://vinlopresti.substack.com/p/out-of-hand?r=b8qtt&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true

Veronica Baker's avatar

I can agree with that.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I sincerely hope you're right, I see the Economic Advisor of the Whitehouse said $12 billion spent so far on the war. When you think of all the good that money could have done throughout the USA, it makes this illegal war more than disgusting. Revolution is the only thing now that will stop what is going on.

Peter Sawchuk's avatar

I think 12 billion is a blatant lie. With all of the weaponry and manpower deployed over there it is reasonable to assume the costs are much higher and rising every day. I hope this bankrupts the fuckers.

Landru's avatar

I don't believe they, whoever it is that is counting cash at the w.h. is not counting the enormous losses of previously installed equipment in the surrounding bases and the what accountants call Depreciation. That alone is far greater number than given. I would guess on order of 200 Billion and counting.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

Morning of March 14, 12 Iranian missiles w cluster warheads destroyed Ben Gurion airport runways & lots of commercial & military aircraft the consequences are gigantic for Israel; no other intl, airport 6-10 months out of ops, huge hit to their economy. Iron dome failed.

Veronica Baker's avatar

Did you see today Iran's 54th wave today was aimed at Israel's decision making centres, five different kinds of missile were sent including for the very first time their newest SEJJIL, the one that can change direction high up in the sky.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I agree but as I said to someone else, we're lucky they're admitting to that much, I mean the cost of some of those missiles alone that he's so proud of, drones etc; I guess we could also throw in the missile hit USA bases in there, I don't believe none of anything got damaged there. Some looked to be feeling totally gutted. We could well see the bankruptcy you mention.

Peter Sawchuk's avatar

We can only pray that if they do they don't decide to take everybody with them by deploying nukes.

Landru's avatar

I should have read your comment before commenting ha. Sorry for stepping on you. You don't want to dance with me either : (

Nick Douglas's avatar

It is more like 120 billion direct cost. 2 to 3 trillions indirect - market crash. Long term cost will be in tens of trillions. Fuck the west and free the world from western oppression, theft, and genocides.

Indu Abeysekara's avatar

Nick Douglas, Add the loot that goes to corrupt politicians, families, and oligarchs, to the 120 billion.

Veronica Baker's avatar

I'm sure you're right but getting them to admit to any amount is something, a wonder he didn't say 12 million. I agree with your last statement completely.

Chetzmom4's avatar

Community is Our Greatest Resource. If/when the Draft comes, we PROTECT the Young People The Epstein Class wants to send to d!e. We don't obediently allow ANYONE to go to the Slaughterhouse. NO ONE should enlist or be drafted for this Illegal war. ✌️

tre peperoncini's avatar

Do we obediently allow those who enlisted to be sent to this Illegal war?

Lets never forget that many who join the military do so because of economics.

Yes, community is our greatest resource, shame that we limit our community to those of a state, not the greater community of mankind. For we have watched far too many go to the slaughterhouses already

Veronica Baker's avatar

Yep. The same old problem remains sadly, a big part of the population, leastways the Western population don't want to listen when we have tried to tell them. Their life is okay, they never seem to realise one day they are in for a rude awakening.

Thank you Caitlin! Everything I believe you have put into words. You have just proven to me that the Zionist propaganda is failing, because, though we don't have a bully pulpit like our owners, millions of us know the Truth of their criminal enterprise of murder, and mayhem.

Susan T's avatar

We have to be careful not to interfere with the ability of those in power to make money and accrue more power: so say those who hold the power. The pretense that they are invading to "save" the Iranian people from the Iranian government is just one more lie. The people of Iran can and do resist when they have to. Just like the American people and the people of other western countries can resist when they need to oppose their governments. Nobody needs to be invaded to be saved from their oppressors. Invasions (wars) create more death, more destruction, more misery for the invaded and enable the warmongers to steal the spoils.

aDoozy's avatar

Yes! Susan~the pretense of invading to "save" is a lie told to the populace. The truth is that the invading government of warmongers desire conquest and spoils. The Trump administration has done that to Venezuela, is setting up to do so in Cuba, and is trying to succeed in Iran.

Veronica Baker's avatar

One amongst a thousand other lies, they say that Iran is an evil, vile regime amongst those lies, I know who is evil and vile and it sure isn't Iran.

Turns out she is as much the cautionary tale of making blanket statements about how women should rule the world as Maggie Thatcher was in England.

Endless warmongers really piss me off.

Richard Parker's avatar

Thatcher was a key part of the elite empire. She was an evil cow.

Along with Reagan in their "special relationship" they forced in neoliberalism by vilifying socialism.

Sell off state assets, reduce the welfare state, destroy the unions, and use the government to prioritse corporate profits.

Free school milk, school dinners were disposed of, previously free education and medical care became paid services.

The lies were along the lines of, profits trickle down, private capitalism always allocates money in the best possible way, your money, your choice.

An evil hag, who used the Falklands war to rouse up nationalislm and boost her declining popularity.

Rosalind Dalefield's avatar

Please don't use the term "cow" as a derogatory term. I've known many, many cows, and never known an evil one. I've known some aggressive ones, but they always had a good reason (such as protecting their calf).

Veronica Baker's avatar

If people in the UK realised how much of their tax money was going to keep the Falklands going, they would be highly disappointed that the UK won that war. All it's really about is keeping a military base in that part of the world.

Rosalind Dalefield's avatar

Agreed, and it is a place exploited by absentee landlords.

Davina's avatar

Thatcher, in her effort to become one of those who would normally look down on her, or try to become more than them and completely ruined herself and the country she was given the champ century to be someone special, but not a right-wing tory, she did that all by herself, foolish woman, even changing her accent to sound like them but just ended up sounding stilted and silly.

She’s so ridiculous as a role model for women. Most of us saw that picture of Bill in a hot tub with a young female whose face was blacked out sitting facing him on his lap. The MSM described him as shirtless, but he appeared naked, though no one wanted to look too closely. And then in his deposition, he denied both knowing the identity of the girl and anything about Epstein’s sex trafficking operation. Yet all you hear in the press is that he testified under oath so his denials must be true.

Kathleen McCroskey's avatar

And she certainly would have declared war on Russia, to finish the job of her color-revolution in Ukraine.

Landru's avatar

Followed by Genocide Kamala, " Iran is our greatest enemy " on fucking stage. People call me a liar when I remind them of that. She said it and I will say it again when she is forced on the u.s. people again. : (

Certainly that's hard to argue against as we now live in the patriarchal death cult, called pathocracy. But this may not be species level, rather it is relatively recent history, starting somewhere around the agricultural revolution, when psychopaths realized there was something to gain and started their long journey towards absolute control.

A new book out written by Palestinian Sabri Jirvis, 600 pages of "The Foundations of Zionism".

X K's avatar

Thank you for this, will add to my list. Just finished Ilan Pappe’s “Ten Myths About Israel,” presently reading Alison Weir’s “Against Our Better Judgment,” Harriet Malinowitz’ newly published “Selling Israel” recently arrived, Ilan Pappe’s “The Idea of Israel” on its way, Rashid Khalidi’s “100 Years War on Palestine” in my library, as is Norman Finkelstein’s “The Holocaust Industry.” Certainly there is more to be read, all exposing the insidiousness, the invidiousness, of the plague of Zionism upon humanity, akin to, if not surpassing, those of the Black Death (how appropriate a comparison), smallpox, polio, the Spanish flu, infectious diseases, AIDS, COVID, and more…

Veronica Baker's avatar

Ilan Pappe is a fantastic author, in fact I can go snap on a few only one I haven't tried is Harriet Malinowitz, I have made a note of it.

The book Sabri Jirvis wrote before his latest was " The Arabs On Israel" but I haven't read it as yet, I think it will have to wait until after "The Foundations of Zionism". If you have a problem getting them, they can be bought from the bookstore in Jerusalem. I assume can be found via internet. He was interviewed a few days ago on the Electronic Intifada over on YouTube, if you want a get a feel for the person who wrote it.

Thanks for the further info, will check out. The blurb on Malinowitz in the endsheet is, briefly, she’s a retired professor of English, specializing in writing, rhetoric, Palestine studies, among other topics. USrael is the most mendacious duopoly in history. When I hear some of its sycophants spout support for feeble lies, I have to laugh.

First we are told a tanker plane went down then another went down, then they went down together, then one crashed but the other is fine.

With every report they attach the passionate disclaimer " this was not due to enemy fire or friendly fire"

Not only are these poor victims of propaganda being gaslighted by their own governments, they welcome any opportunity to further gaslight themselves.

There are various social media posts attempting explanations that validate government propaganda, no matter how absurd.

I have no idea where this will end.
