At certain times VIOLENCE is REQUIRED, at other times NON-VIOLENCE is required. To limit oneself to a subset of available strategies is to not use all the tools available and needed.

He didn't say that there would be no violence; in fact he warned his readers that violence would be used against them.
He said that this is war and the only difference was that we would be using civil disobedience as our weapon.

We encountered similar censorship and narrative hegemony during Covid. We had to move to using symbols to communicate certain words, or use malapropism's instead of the actual word.
People might not be able to understand how a war on your mind actually functions, or what it looks like. You don't need guns and bombs anymore, you just need to control what people are allowed to say, allowed to think, and allowed to read. It all gets distilled down to 'conspiracy theorist' which hijacks any genuine conversation on the topic being suppressed.
Like applying forbidden words, thoughts and information "sanctions" on our minds and capacity to communicate But it's too late. The masks have already come off and they are up against genuinely intelligent and infinitely creative people who already know too much.
I wondered if what finally pushed their fear buttons was talking about oil and resources, rather than staying safely on the spinning identity hamster wheels of religion, ethnicity, "terrorism", "democracy," "Trump", etc. etc.? Might there. be wisdom in strategically backing off, as in a chess game? Which is not even remotely "giving up" or "giving in." Just asking strategies....
Preserving communication is essential.

Narrative hegemony is exactly right. But I think this has been ongoing for thousands of years. From “in the beginning there was the word” and heresy to “in the beginning there was the Big Bang” and conspiracy theory, it’s all fiction spun by power to preserve itself and it always has been. The priesthood always knows; the peasants never do. But it’s always a lie, a very productive one for some and a ruinous one for most. Pyramids. Hierarchies. Empty. The all-seeing eye actually has cataracts and can’t see a damn thing. We’re sneaking up the pyramid, slowly but surely, rusty spoons in hand.
Note that it is much easier for The National Security State to outsource the censorship function to Big Tech as this insulates this important business from unwanted election results and pesky FOIA suits.

I've had similar troubles with Facebook. I don't think anyone can see any posts I've posted there concerning Palestine/Gaza. They even took down posts with links to my articles weeks later because they have the "z word" in them. (You know the word.) It's a worthless, propaganda-filled platform.
Let's hope Substack and Rumble remain defenders of free speech. I don't know where else to turn.

I personally do not go on ANY of the gossip media lines , Facebook, X etcetera. So far Substack has been a very viable alternative to their bullshit. If everyone stopped using them they and their high handed ways would end in a heartbeat. I took it one step further and dumped my cell phone years ago. No, I don't miss it. If someone wants to contact me they can use my Email or my landline. I'll get back to you when I check my Email or my answering machine. Nothing is so important to me that I have to drag around a monitoring device. Don't play their game.
I deleted my Facebook and Instagram. My partner wants us to go back to landline.
