Let's have steely wills and soft hearts, strong minds and eyes that weep and yet see clearly through the disinformation, fabrication and lies. We will not forget, nor forgive these bastards for every child who was killed. For what crime was she killed? They must answer.

The father

The father slowly gathers

the pieces, one by terrible

one: small shreds left of a

child - flesh, brain, sodden

matter, a hand intact but

for one, tiny missing finger.

All dressed in the grey

dust of destruction.

The plastic bag begins

to fill, and then a foot,

wearing the colourful

sock she loved so much;

that broken, delightful

child who would smile

no more. The stones

sighed as he moved them,

dribbling out more for

him to find, to gather, to

bring together in shattered

form. And watching him,

unseen, a shining figure in

flowing robes, untouched

by the carnage, and he too

collected, the broken pieces

of Palestine and placed them

gently in the laps of the crones,

who took silver needles in

silent stitching, weaving back

together, the heart, soul and

purpose of ancient, weeping

Palestine - this Holy Land,

torn asunder by hate and

rage, but never destroyed,

just broken, waiting to be

remade in the image of God.

Zionists damning themselves out of their own mouths.

I suppose that is what happens when one is free to say the ugliest and most ogrish things, and face no consequences for it.

Ugh…I need to take a shower after reading that. But hey didn’t Moses write down the 10 commandments where one of them is 'Thou shalt not kill'? What part of shalt not is hard to understand?

Subtext for thou shalt not covet your neighbor’s wife would probably include not coveting your neighbor’s children either.

At my school it was always said that "thou shalt not kill" should really be "thou shalt not do no murder" so that eg killing enemies did not count because it wasn't murder - just obedience to your government . And the only valid governments were US and Israeli . The UK counted as a tiny addition to the US . Or as was said in a LeCarré novel as one of "America's streetwalkers" .

I deal with Chabad (professionally). It's a cult that operates by dissimulation, and focusses on ensnaring young, impressionable Jewish university students. On my campus they have attacked other Jewish and Muslim students and even accused a campus minister of anti-semitism because he wrote a letter supporting BDS (this Minister's church officially supports BDS). Chabad is a petty, vile, hateful group. It's good for people to know their background. Thank you, Feral Finster.

Plenty material on the internet about "main" Jews in Ukraine supporting nazi regime, orthodox Jews shouting glory to Ukraine etc. German Deutsche Welle the main propagandist of that no less.

Utter nazi scum that they all are. Israel loving Ukraine and vice versa.

I talked to old men, Soviet veterans, who told me that captured SSmen did not exactly go out like men.

Now, Resistance types will not like what I have to say here, but there is a reason that Zionists are able to exert power well beyond their numbers:

Group solidarity and a willingness to do *whatever* *it* *takes* to advance group goals. This often is violence but not necessarily.

It's the same reason that a few Hells Angels were able to run riot at Altamont while many times their number of concertgoers milled around, got beat up, or ran for their lives. Every Hells Angel knew that his fellow outlaws would support him, whatever the cost, and they were not afraid to hurt or kill anyone who got in their way, nor did they fear any consequences.

The hippies, by contrast, were dithering and indecisive, when if they had the Angels' determination and ethos, could have easily disarmed them or worse.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with gold, silver, or platinum, which highlights the cracks and imperfections. The broken object is considered more beautiful because of its history and the process of repair, reflecting the idea that it can be made whole in a new, more meaningful way.

May our emotional and moral shattering be repaired. And may the people of Palestine have life, justice, freedom, and peace.

I have often cursed that god I no longer believe in

For failing to stop the murder

Punish the murderers

Not only of innocents with their bombs

But of Nature with their constant push to consume

As though nothing is finite.

Why can't we bloody understand our limits

With a little more clarity?

Thank you for "shattered"! I am definitely still in the shattered part of this poem. For months I go to sleep with Gaza and wake up Gaza. The past three days I woke up to, "85,000 tons of bombs ... toxic wasteland ... death to all animals and humans ... " I used to drive around the country roads where I live and would often pray while driving. Now I do primal screams ... in the car... driving country roads.

Bathe in the pain of Gaza ?

Sure.

Wash it the treachery of Erdogan.

Take a look at the injustice that is the middle name for South America while you're at it.

Look at Sudan and drink a large, empty glass of water.

Why?

Because it's coming home to you.

We can't stop it.

Only a few will fight it

Those that do will die with honer.

Those that don't will die of enslavement.

i reject the deliberate use of human sacrifice by so called power structures aka elites, to cow and humiliate the global human species. i reject their abuse of my good will and my attention. may the holocaust of all Palestinian SOULS find peace as they make their way back home and may WE the people awaken to our true nature and speak TRUTH to impotence and cowardice. speak against land grabs and manipulations of perception. speak against slavery in ALL FORMS. and may we all heal

our divided hearts divided minds and grow up. war is meaningless unhinged insane and life destroying. may WE one day end war in ourselves. this is truly the only way.

Please buy Refaat Alareer's book, “If I Must Die.” All proceeds go to his family. Many of us would like to see it reach the bestseller list. OR Books is the publisher. The first week's tally counts sales that go through Saturday -- so any book you order before Sunday makes the chance he makes the list that much higher. It’s one way to get Refaat’s name in the NYT!
