Tonight the gates of hell were opened wide. May Israel be sucked back in, from whence it obviously came.

Roslyn Ross's avatar

Let us hope Iran eradicates every Israeli military base, airport and port and cripples Dimona.

Tom's avatar

Cripples Dimona by releasing a toxic, radioactive cloud of Zionist gasses to choke and kill the local population.

Roslyn Ross's avatar

Better than a fullscale nuclear war. And reactors can be crippled without releasing a toxic cloud. Just enough to focus the attention of the Israelis on saving their own skin. Most will leave.

Tom's avatar

Yes, and many already have. Israel is tottering on the brink. Only Donald J. Trump and MAGA idiots stupid enough to have been sold on a "No New Wars!" campaign and still willing to enlist (psychologically or physically) in the effort to take Iran down for the Zionists can save Israel now. Oh, don't get me wrong. Plenty of Demo-Rats are also tools of the Joos. But this will be Trump's War. And since 2019 I've said that ANY 2nd Trump term - with or without the Zionazi scapegoats or fellow travelers like Mike Pimpeo or John Bolton - would mean a futile and costly war with Iran on behalf of the Jews.

Roslyn Ross's avatar

Or does Trump want Iran to cripple Israel so it can be dismantled and solve a lot of problems?

Guest's avatar

Nice thought but I’m afraid Trump is a fraud, a mostly unwitting yet willing tool, and doesn’t view “problems” from the sort of perspective that you or I might. He’s generally lousy as a human being, I’d say.

Trump has contributed to situations with Ukraine and Israel getting almost completely out of hand, while his “big, beautiful bill” and other domestic failings exacerbate “problems” in “America”.

Landru's avatar

Sorry, that would suggest there are thinking people that would pull the fuel rods into containment before the meltdown.

Roslyn Ross's avatar

Ah yes, good point. Then again the Iranians are very smart so if anyone could find a way they would.

Edi's avatar

They can not as both arab and Syria are suporting Izosand for sure the west

Roslyn Ross's avatar

The US may support Israel for the moment but that does not mean the West as a unified whole will do so. I think many are sick and tired of Israeli aggression and bestial savagery and think it should reap what it has sown.

Of course then there is the political position, but the voice of the people matters and even most Americans are sick and tired of Israeli thuggery and will not be ready to go to war with Iran.

Syria changes its mind in an instant. Israel is paying them for support and if Israel looks like it will be defeated the Syrians will change sides in a nanosecond. Indeed, I suspect they are working both sides already.

ARABS ARE MOST CERTAINLY NOT SUPPORTING ISRAEL. The fact is most Arab Governments live in terror of being overthrown because while they may be paid to support Israel, like Jordan and Egypt, their people are totally opposed. The Arab street will be firmly on the side of Iran and that is what matters.

@realRodster's avatar

The only thing that will stop Isra-Hell is when Big Brother is no longer around to help fight its wars and Isra-Hell knows it. Senator Lady Graham who's never fought in her life gets to play tough guy. His quote: "Game On".

Here’s one I’d like to see:

Antisemitism on full display as the world celebrates the new parking lot formerly known as Israel.

Something tells me that neither Russia or China will come to Iran's aid.

Contrarian 33's avatar

@realRooster

I seriously hope you are wrong on this. For your interest......

Since 1998 I have been writing to Russia at the embassy in my country, the members of the Russia UN delegation and the Russian government in Moscow to ask them to let it be known that they intend to formally sign an alliance with Iran, knowing that such a document would give Iran a serious level of protection............in my opinion, forcing the lunatic brigades of the USA, the pitiful immoral Western governments and the most disgraceful state ever in the world, Israel, to consider what this could develop into should they proceed with any act of aggression.

I have never had a single reply or acknowledgement to indicate any interest in that option in all those years.

I have the greatest respect for Iran out of all the countries in the Middle East region with a highly educated population and a history that shows little in the way of an ambition to control others. Refreshing in this day and age.

No military adventures in its history of recent years.

A target for Israel for decades based on these qualities alone and a country whose values have been a stabilising quality for many years past. Therefore, also unacceptable to the hegemonic USA. Their future now under threat from both.

OKAY how many of you in this thread and who see this post KNOW ABSOLUTELY that 🇺🇸is complicit with 🇮🇱 in the #GENOCIDE_of_PALESTINIANS ???

WELL WE MOST DEFINITELY ARE🤬🤬😡🤬!!!!!! The American media has been hiding the truth from the American people since this began. The only way I found out was miraculously being can connected to a Palestinian photographer reporter on Substack. If I hadn’t found @Mohammad_Al_Sadony

Landru's avatar

True, 10 yrs. ago. No longer true if you read from outside u.s./israel mass media. Geo. Galloway just came from a two week trip to Iran.

Francis/Clare's avatar

So they are not longer required to wear a headscarf or risk being arrested, beaten and sometimes killed if they don't? This was happening a lot more recently than ten years ago.

CrumpledForeskin's avatar

I wouldn’t be so sure. They see the writing on the wall. There is nothing good that comes out of being passive, when the US and Israel are still breathing.

@realRodster's avatar

They should have nuked Ukraine for hitting Russia's Triad and they didn't.

Tom's avatar

Good to know cool headed winners like you aren't in charge of Russia's war with NATO.

@realRodster's avatar

You might want to read this short piece by Dr. Paul Craig Roberts who worked for the Reagan Admin back in the 80's. He warned that if Putin did not treat the US proxy war in Ukraine with overwhelming force from the beginning i.e. like what Isra-Hell is doing to Iran, then the US Neocons would view that as being weak and control the narrative.

That is what precisely has happened. It has widen the War and prolonged it with the US seizing the narrative. It allowed for Ukraine to hit Russia's nuclear triad. This will continue and the provocations will increase as long as Putin looks weak to the West.

Greg Dunn's avatar

You need to read Annie Jacobsen's book _Nuclear War: A Scenario_. Then go give Trump and Lindsey Graham a briefing on it.

JoAnn Baker Paul's avatar

Why do you think this? Nuk??? ANY NUCLEAR WEAPONS CONTINUE TO DESTROY LIFE INDEFINITELY...... LOOK BACK ON THE INJURIES AFTER HIROSHIMA SIR.....😭💔😣💔

Mike Hampton's avatar

This is a moment of truth for the rhetoric of many, starting with Iran which hasn't responded to the first 4 waves of attack.

Tom's avatar

Responded within Mike Hampton's preferred and war making expertise window of response? Let's call it 5 waves. What would a valid "response" be and within what amount of time? Bring all your military expertise and Iran-specific knowledge to bear, please.

Greg Dunn's avatar

They may both simply feel that the wiser course is to sit back and let the U.S. destroy itself. Unfortunate as this is for Iran, it may be the course more likely to leave in place a human-habitable Earth

Sarel Van Der Walt's avatar

Both Russia & China could use a similar strategy to what the US is employing in Ukraine. By supplying arms to Iran to not only shoot down Israeli planes but also shoot at targets in Israel, China could get real world experience about their weapons’ capabilities & crucially deplete US arms & ammunition used by its proxy. Also, with China banning rare earth exports to the US, especially to the US military-industrial complex, the US has limited resources to produce replacement munitions, thus reducing the US’ ability to respond to China invading Taiwan in 2027/28.

Peter Sawchuk's avatar

You forget that China, Russia and Iran have been striving to avoid war at all costs as they realize it could mark the end of the world. Our Western power mongers are rabidly trying to hold on to their power and influence and will risk everything to that end. I think it may be the time that they don't back down and our Western fools don't know how.

JoAnn Baker Paul's avatar

Thanks for this Jim..... A good belly laugh and I needed it as I was on the verge of a nervous break down of fear, of what Iran might do the United States

Weep especially, as always, for Gaza and all its Palestinian people and landscape-cum-moonscape.

Why was this user banned? Murderous land thieving Zionism is baked into Judaism. From the get-go. And let us not presume that my stating of such relieves the Anglos, French or Belgians from their own murderous conquests. The point is, it's literally in the Talmud and OT that a very specific piece of land was promised to a very specific group of self-identified people who very specifically believe themselves to be "better" than the rest of us and will lie, cheat, steal and kill us with little if any remorse.

Caitlin Johnstone's avatar

I don't allow ethnic slurs on my page. I make no apologies for banning people who act like hasbarists and post things that delegitimize my work and make this space look bad. You're close to being banned yourself for the same reasons FYI.

Tom's avatar

OK if you say so, Caitlin. I'll defer to actual Jewish people who have studied the scriptures and informed my opinion. Yasha Levine, for one.

Caitlin Johnstone's avatar

My "subscriber fees" are zero. This is a free newsletter and all payments are optional. It says this explicitly in the subscription process.

Tom's avatar

My point was that I appreciate your work and I WANT to pay you, but the cheapest monthly option is too high. Is there another way to contribute $ but less than $10/month (or the yearly / lifetime fee)?

The Synagogue Of Satan 😈

Francis/Clare's avatar

I'm guessing it's due to the group name slur.

Slightly Lucid's avatar

There's a lot of Trolls are Caitlin's thread, pretending support for Gaza but using what we'd ALL agree are pretty awful racial / anti-semitic slurs. That way, her whole newsletter can just be denounced as being anti-Jewish people, rather than anti-war, anti-genocide, anti-zionist etc.

Slightly Lucid's avatar

See Below. :) @derwood just showed his blue star!

derwood kirkwood's avatar

Nice try Lucid.... Catlin's own words, while not antisemitic slurs, are completely biased and hyperbolic, not to mention one dimensional, when it comes to the "Jewish Problem", all of which are the hallmarks of definitive racism. Most of these commenters and Catlin are the definition of racist....

Basil Rathbone's avatar

Maybe you can enlighten us on how running a genocide on a people the Zionists have occupied into a giant concentration camp for 77 years can be so multidimensional that it's racist to one-dimensionally blame the occupiers and apartheid imposers alone for what they've been carrying out for over 7 decades. The Palestinians must also share a lot of the blame for all this, right? It's just so complex, and we need to be careful to avoid hyperbole and racist bias!

Slightly Lucid's avatar

AH! One of the Hasbara Trolls I was referring to! Fantastic!

No that's moronic nonsense actually. I ban people for using the n-word just as swiftly and for the exact same reason. You want me to allow this space to turn into another 4chan with a comments section that turns people away and makes my work look bad. That isn't going to happen.

Tom's avatar

It's pretty clear that you're feeling pressure from higher powers to artificially exclude and moderate commentary that may get you in trouble with the new Orwellian speech authorities, or worse - that you've embraced their 'definitions' for what constitutes "racist" or "antisemitic" speech. This is a loss, not a victory if it's true. When honest Jewish scholars like Ilan Pappe and forthright diaspora Jewish thinkers and authors like Yasha Levine (and numerous also well versed Jewish guests on his and his wife's podcast) are willing to say "Hey wait a minute, something is WRONG with the the way this religion is going, and it looks like it may be baked into the cake" and you conflate it with "hate speech" or attempts (willing or unconsciously racist) to draw undue attention from powerful forces in the narrative/career-ending sphere to your writing, there's also a problem.

Tom's avatar

Unfortunately everyone in the west is now. And the worrisome part about it to me is that I was just basically but indirectly accused of calling for gas chambers or other unspeakable things just because I asked a legitimate question.

CK's avatar

Those are all reasonable guesses that follow a distinct trajectory that's been in motion since at least the Carter Administration.

Cui Bono's avatar

In motion since 1904 with Theodor Herz via the picot-sikes, redline agreements and the Balfour Declaration

Great point, but most Americans who are living, today, can’t remember anything before the Eisenhower Administration.

Palestinians are Semitic.

Sad part is, these were most likely the same shoulder launched weapons used in the last three, four, five attacks.
