I'm an antizionist Jew. The most vicious and vitriolic hatred I experience invariably comes from other Jews.

Susan T's avatar

Their hatred comes from their Zionist teachings, not from their Judaism.

What do you think about this idea: Isn't it time for all those wonderful, principled American Jews, to sue the ADL for defamation, slander, libel, and unauthorized appropriation! Make the ADL have to admit publicly, with every statement, that they do not speak for all Jews. What an epic take down that would be!

Of course it would require great effort, energy and money. Perhaps organizations would join, or a class action law suit.

Question for you, I no longer believe israel will exist much longer. The world has turned away from the genociders. This is the last President of the u.s. Demented Don who can be forced to take a stand against our country putting israel first. Many of the political committees I work with not only are against dealing in any way with israel, they are actively working to stop all funding of israel. I think we are seeing the end of war with peace to follow when israel is gone, the What was israel moment. What do you think about israel surviving?

Bruce Maltby's avatar

The problem is that Israel own the US establishment and until the US public dismantle the ability of their government to support Israel, this will continue…

Steve Carmo's avatar

Precisely 💯, as is the same problem globally.

Gerda Ho's avatar

Absolutely true! Same with me!!

Landru's avatar

I am sorry to hear that however, we knew this was coming.

Caitlin do NOT stop talking about Israel they are the biggest threat to the world peace and to protect them Western Governments are depriving us of our free speech and Democracy

Joseph Cullen's avatar

Your voice is so needed Caitlin. Don’t stop!

Ginnie's avatar

Caitlin should just accept the antisemitism label because at this point it is a badge of honor and sign of basic decency and move the fuck on instead of writing op-ed after op-ed apologizing for calling out genocide.

jboegs's avatar

Right on! Write on!

Diana van Eyk's avatar

That's for sure, Caitlin. This is a moral injury to us all and a horrific and cruel genocide to people in Palestine. Israel has to be stopped, and I won't stop writing about it either until it stops committing atrocities.

doug elford's avatar

Israel is an existential threat to humanity. Excise the cancer.

Anthony Vassallo's avatar

I ♥️ Caitlin even when it grieves me to read what she wrote. You articulate my rage.

Susan T's avatar

For me, the worst thing about Israel and the atrocities it is committing is that it makes me feel hatred for those committing those atrocities. It makes me think that the people murdering children, raping prisoners, using dogs to rape prisoners, stealing land, are disgusting horrible people who only deserve to be taken out of society and put on an island. I would rather think that, altho nobody is perfect, most people are not monsters either. Zionists seem not to be like most people. They need to disappear.

Brianna Amore's avatar

I feel the hatred of a thousand burning suns not only for those who commit these atrocities, but for those who DEFEND and DENY such atrocities. And it should be noted that in the Ten Stages of Genocide (written by the Holocaust Memorial, of course), the tenth stage is DENIAL.

Definition of Zionist personality modes: Paranoid personality disorder - Wikipedia

Excerpt: “People with this disorder may be hypersensitive, easily insulted, and habitually relate to the world by vigilant scanning of the environment for clues or suggestions that may validate their fears or biases. They are eager observers and they often think they are in danger and look for signs and threats of that danger, potentially not appreciating other interpretations or evidence.

They tend to be guarded and suspicious and have quite constricted emotional lives. Their reduced capacity for meaningful emotional involvement and the general pattern of isolated withdrawal often lend a quality of loneliness to their life experience. People with PPD may have a tendency to bear grudges, suspiciousness, tendency to interpret others' actions as hostile, persistent tendency to self-reference, or a *tenacious sense of personal right*.” Erm... The last five words kind of nail it...

I think Israel has a remarkable talent for raising people to be cruel. I think the supremacism they are indoctrinated with has a lot to do with that.

Feral Finster's avatar

I can do that with any group of humans. Just give them de facto unlimited rights and zero responsibilities

Kathleen McCroskey's avatar

Duh, they all have to serve in IDF.

Rosalind Dalefield's avatar

Duh, they do not, lying Zioslag. Ultra-Orthodox Jews (Haredim)are exempt. Furthermore a small number of Israeli youth refuse to serve. They get ostracised and have to serve a few months in jail, but they don't serve. You could read more about them on the Refuser Solidarity Network website https://www.refuser.org/ if your mind was not rusted shut.

Stick your Hasbara lies and your apologism for depraved psychopaths, Zioslag.

We’re starting to see where their propaganda budget is being spent and they’re losing their minds it’s not money well spent

Colin Wright's avatar

The ironic bit is that at the end of the day, they're just not very bright.

Incredibly duplicitous and unscrupulous -- but that's not quite the same.

Rosalind Dalefield's avatar

I think the people who post online are all paid employees who have a script to follow. When their claims are refuted they tend to lose their minds and resort to personal abuse and threats.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Yeah, ignore the propaganda. Make the hasbarists cry at all the money they're flushing down the drain and not making a bit of difference for their genocidal cause.

Colin Wright's avatar

I'm always uncomfortably aware that it really is true that all one has to do to make people believe a lie is to repeat it often enough. Israel has already demonstrated this repeatedly.

...so no, I can never just smile benignly at their lies. They may be working.

Forest Mother's avatar

Caitlin, thank you. I feel so the same way and it is very lonely for most of us who do. I hope all of us have some semblance of a support group or live where people are educated enough, not brainwashed by Zionist Propaganda, that they know a Genocide is still going on, was preplanned and supported by Netanyahu, on video. My friends in Gaza are suffering, still starving, medical horrors, children covered in insect bites who once had safe homes and clean drinking water. The truth must not be denied by the American, Corporate Media any longer. I cannot even watch local news. I have no respect for any of them and I will never vote for any politician who continues to take money from AIPAC or other Zionist groups promoting the takeover of Palestine and ethnic cleansing, mass murder. I am broken from it, imagine Gazans. We must not take it anymore.

Diane Engelhardt's avatar

Wouldn't that be lovely! The Israel getting the fuck out of everyone's face part!

CricketThicket's avatar

Your pieces make me feel fucking sane in a world that isn't angry enough. Thank you for the cathartic read!

That can only happen when the theocratic tyranny is eliminated and a secular democratic Palestinian state is created. Unfortunately, it won’t happen in my lifetime.

ennui_mcgee's avatar

Because secularism has done so much to stop the genocide? No, 8f you gave a shit about Palestine your comment would support the Palestinian right to self-determination. That means if they want to be an Islamic state, they get to be that, western liberals be damned.

Jon Olsen's avatar

" Unfortunately, it won’t happen in my lifetime." We don't know that. Look how fast the USSR disintegrated

Brianna Amore's avatar

Israel is scared to death that they're going to be cut off from the US Taxpayer Gravy Train. As they should be.

Patrick Powers's avatar

I bet they feel pretty secure. The people are turning against Israel but what the people want doesn't matter anymore.

Brianna Amore's avatar

And as long as Chuck Schumer is in charge of the Democratic Senate, the gravy train will continue no matter which party is in charge.

Mu's avatar

It can't happen soon enough.

DEREK HANDS's avatar

When it rightfully implodes.

Linda Hagge's avatar

We will stop writing about Israel when they stop being demonic on a daily basis. And I don't even believe in demons, but Zionists are enough to make anyone believe in Satan.

ZeAntiFaz's avatar

Even Satan isn’t as cruel as these cancerous fucks.

Paul Vonharnish's avatar

Heh, heh... At least Satan is honest about the situation. I like His no bullshit approach...
