Thing I love about Caitlin is she never pussy-foots around with a lot of unnecessary verbiage. We get her report in its purist form. Or maybe I love her work because she says exactly what I think. Thank you, Caitlin and Tom Foley, too.

"she never pussy-foots around with a lot of unnecessary verbiage" - indeed. I find Greenwald's presentations are so full of fluff lately. Almost like he has to fill the time slot due to some obligations.

I listen to Greenwald all the time on Rumble, and it's a fairly long show and I think he's made his position quite clear on this issue.. He doesn't support what Israel is doing. He had on Ofer Cass who is a far-left member of the Israeli parliament who was suspended for saying that Israel "wanted" the deadly terror attack by Hamas and supposedly compared government plans for Palestinians to the Nazis' "Final Solution." Greenwald told him he wished he could have him on all the time. No pussyfooting around about that.

Well, I love Glenn's work anyway. Thing is, I'm being censored there, the oddest thing I could imagine, since he's so anti-censorship.

Dunno, but my name must be tagged. Maybe because I am totally pro-Palestinian. Israel is stolen land. Do you think that did it?

Expand full comment

The land of Israel wasn't really stolen by the Jews. or they did with a lot of help. First there were the Balfour accords that gave the land to the Zionists who claimed they suffered prejudice in their homelands, and claimed it was their former homeland, like 2000 years before. Then the UN after WWII divided the land between the Palestinians and Jews who got the best deal, that is the most fertile lands. Then came the Nakba where hundreds and hundreds of thousands of Arabs were displaced from their homes, or murdered, so the West Bank and Gaza alone became their home. Yeah a lot of people pitched in and handed the land to the Jewish people, and they took it from there. I don't think anyone that is willing to be honest would disagree with you. When did he black list you? Maybe a mistake, since a lot of people view it no differently then you. I don't. I do notice he's been very careful with his words, and sometimes I think he is being pressured to watch what he says, or maybe he's afraid to alienate a paying audience.

I understand where you are coming from, but you are slightly awry. The Balfour Declaration didn't "give the land" to anyone. It supported a Jewish "homeland" in Palestine, but not to the disadvantage of the existing population. The UN Partition was never ratified by the Security Council. Syria had rightly stated that partitioning a territory without the consent of the people living there was illegal under international law, and contrary to the UN's own Charter on self determination. The Zionists, with their terrorist organizations Irgun Haganah and Lehi, armed by the US and Britain, took Palestine by force. They had no interest of "sharing" the territory. The entire "biblical" narrative about Israel is, at best, dodgy. The sympathy for the Zionist land grab is the Holocaust™. The fact that it is essentially the new state religion in virtually all of the so-called Western liberal democracies, should be enough to make people suspicious of its veracity. Red the cross examination of the prosecution witnesses at the 1980s Zundel trials to get an idea of how flimsy it is.

Thanks for your thoughts. First, I don’t think Glenn is afraid of anything, although the PTB are out to get all those who don't follow their script. Consortium News is suing over free speech! As for the British, they had no right to give away a country with over 90% Palestinians who lived peacefully with the Jews in Palestine. [BTW, those Jewish descendents still call themselves Palestinians.]

Nope. The way you use the passive tense tells me why you think the land wasn’t really stolen by the Jews. It was—spearheaded by the Zionists staring in 1917 and carried out by settlers with bulldozers and guns. It wasn’t “handed” to them. They took it.

"A Textbook Case of Genocide": Israeli Holocaust Scholar Raz Segal Decries Israel's Assault on Gaza

¨Raz Segal, an Israeli expert in modern genocide, calls Israel's assault on Gaza a textbook case of "intent to commit genocide" and its rationalization of its violence a "shameful use" of the lessons of the Holocaust. Israeli state exceptionalism and comparisons of its Palestinians victims to "Nazis" are used to "justify, rationalize, deny, distort, disavow mass violence against Palestinians," says Segal.¨ 9:18 min https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZWGGjLZNuyg

I totally agree. And when they needed to fill up the land that they stole from the Palestinians, they pushed and guilted and hornswoggled and pressured an urban people to leave the cities and go be armed farmers in a land that didn’t want them and that they didn’t want to be in just to fulfill the Zionist dream. Do a little research.

Israel is a mockery of the memory of Jewish Holocaust victims. Simple as that when seeing comments of the Israeli government officials justifying methods that are the same as used against Jews earlier.

I know there is someone's law that says you've lost the argument as soon as you mention Hitler or Nazism, but I simply want all your readers to read up on Nazi Germany's response to attacks on its personnel in the occupied countries. Read up, please on Lidice in 1942 and Ouradour-sur-Glane in 1944, and tell me that this is not the blueprint for Israel's approach to Gaza and the West Bank and the Palestinian population. And is this not what Peter Dutton has in mind when he urges Israel to act without restraint.? Is the cutting off of food, power and water not the same as the German policy of starving Leningrad into submission when their force of arms failed?

And now can some of your followers tell me how American 'advisors' to help Israel mount an operation in Gaza is not just a repeat of the initial errors that saw the Vietnam war become a quagmire?

And finally, can some Labor voting leftist tell me why Albo and Minns have rushed to take sides when humanity demands a small nation remain unaligned and calling for a cease fire and UN sanctions on Israel?

Israel's siege on Gaza might actually be worse than Nazi practices. Before the Oct. 7 episode, there was an embargo. I've read that Israel actually calculated the number of calories to sustain a starvation diet and limited food supplies allowed to be imported based on that caloric intake. I don't think the Nazi's did that, but I am not a knowledgeable history source.

Expand full comment

Yes, I know the Nazi's used starvation to murder. But what I don't know is whether it was quantified and systematically implemented the way the Israeli's have done.

I dunno, I felt the "we're fast approaching the point where..." moment in 2018 (and a little before that in 2011) but all that really happened was anti-BDS clauses injected into contract requirements for most US state govt work. At this point I'm not holding my breath for anything new.

I agree with all of that, Caitlin. A couple of things, though, and this is not aimed at you, but all news outlets. One, why are children always the ones who shouldn’t be bombed? If you bomb everyone else, you get orphans. If you only bomb men (because you shouldn’t bomb women either in most cases, the people you bomb will die out anyway. We shouldn’t be bombing anyone anywhere. The vast majority of people who are bombed are civilians. If there needs to be war (which there doesn’t) just have lines of soldiers in a field shooting each other. This would be even, bombing civilians is never that. Point 2 is that Israel/Jews never back down (my mother was Jewish so I know!) so the question is how to get Caitlin’s message to a much wider audience. That, of course, will never happen because of Israel/Jewish apologists. There is no narrative at all in the UK main-stream media which supports the Palestinians, not even the more left-wing press and certainly not in radio and tv news. There is some reporting from both sides but this is weighted in favour of Israel and it is all based from an October 7th starting point.

So here we have a horrific humanitarian crisis where the population of Gaza (nearly half of whom are children) are badly injured, starving and bombed out of their homes, with few if any public services still functioning and with aid waiting outside and prevented from entering by Israel.

This is an acid test for the United Nations and the international community who need to show their real worth and recover the respect they have carelessly lost over the years.

They are drinking in the Last Chance saloon and this is possibly their final opportunity to prove that the world has, after all, developed moral sensibilities and emerged from the caveman era. All it takes is a mercy flotilla of ships belonging to few UN member states, not privateers, to bring the Middle East issue to a head so the root causes can finally be dealt with in accordance with international law.

In short, the lives of 2.3 million innocent, incarcerated Gazan cannot be left in the hands of a psychopath like Netanyahu. Nor can the Israelis be allowed to dictate the wider future of the Holy Land they have defiled.

...and it's never ever going to be enough to satiate the greedy. Greater israel anyone? Yinon Plan? The secular Zionists behind all this aggro have terminal megalomania and precisely zero interest in whether or not the cattle people of any religion live or die as long as 500,000,000 useful slaves remain to entertain them. Then there's all the lands of outer space to conquer using conventional weapons and/or usury. The sky is the limit but ET won't be happy with that as ETs most certainly have the right to self defence as do the Palestinians & everyone else. I do indeed believe they are watching things develop on this beautiful planet.

Btw, it is written that the Zionists behind israel will fall. I know because I just wrote it.
