Zero cojones - State department: after listening to Jeremy L. relate details of his abuse by the Israeli monsters on the Grayzone, my rage at the castrati the in the US state dept boiled over this afternoon -- from Blinken through Count Smirkula and all the others, I wanted to tell them what feckless cowards and Israel suckups (speaking kindly) they were for abandoning a journalist, a US citizen to those circumstances, those Zionist pigs, given that through the CIA-Mossad umbilicus they always know wtf is going on.

The Empire and its lackeys DO NOT give a good god damn about anyone who is a mere citizen or a writer and they do not want those journalists telling anyone the truth. Or even a different perspective. Or anything that is not part of their "belief system" which is to make as much money as they possibly can before they die. If they have to encourage a genocide in order to make more money, why not?

The U.S. military consumes the most fossil fuels in the world. It is insane. Burning fossil fuels is SOS. Stupid On Steroids. Getting a pay check for thirty years of Hackery down at the local tv stations. Our public airwaves, our military industrial-mafia never-ending war meat grinding empire. Container ships ply the polluted seas. But we never have peace. Jobs, the international for our daily bread. It is insane to burn diesel, gasoline, propane, and methane. Oil is not a crop. Yet the military-industrial - deep state Monkey machine has us by the throat. Over 800 military bases world wide that don't win wars. When the empire goes to war it raises an army as there is no standing army in those 800 bases of mass destruction. War is the best game in town. And the drought rolls on.

Ok Vin, here goes. (Your reference to Count Smirkula inspired me to write this).

I’m a huge believer in cryptids (Bigfoot’s my favorite.) The other night I watched a documentary about vampire hunters. At first I just rolled my eyes. THEN they began providing evidence. My eyes opened. The two vampire hunters explained that vampires are an entirely different species from humans.

My thoughts immediately went to Netanyahu, with those eyes completely bereft of any hint of a soul behind them, as well as Count Smirkula. Could they possibly be…?

Call me crazy, but it doesn’t escape me that “Netanyahu” rhymes with “Nosferatu”.

Y'know, Gypsy, when I consider the profundity of darkness that these aforementioned entities cast over the universe of fully human beings, I put nothing outside of the realm of possibility. Particularly since it deeply pains me to be considered as belonging to the same species as these monstrosities.

Thank you for being a voice of reason in this era of the matrix. Sometimes I find you difficult to read because everything you write makes me feel so sad and without agency but I know you’re right. I’m so angry that the party that I’ve voted for for the past 52 years has capitulated to Wall Street and the military industrial complex so completely; thank you slick Willy. There’s no safe haven anywhere from this monster that most Americans support because of manufactured consent. It is a matrix that most people on either side of the aisle fail or refuse to see. It will be the death of this empire as has happened to so many before. Thanks for letting me vent.

If the Democrats lose, you know who they'll blame? Drum roll......Putin!

Expand full comment

But first they'll blame Jill Stein. For the first time ever, the Dems put out an ad mentioning Jill Stein BY NAME and claiming she's 1) Putin's secret lover 2) Trump's best friend and 3) David Duke's love child. And it ends with "I'm Kamala Harris and I endorse this message." The Dems must be peeing in their diapers to start attack ads like this in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Why would you put out something so stupid? Either you're stupid or you believe voters to be.

No. I think the 1st to be blamed, should the Dems lose, are the folks who voted for Jill Stein. So it’s important that we be ready to respond - if the democratic party hadn't chosen the candidate for us, if the candidate hadn't been so inadequate, if the democratic administration had done something to alleviate the genocide in Israel, if it had subscribed to international law as it has faulted Russia repeatedly for not doing, if the noecons had not condemned peaceful student demonstrations on behalf of the Palestinian cause, using shills like Hillary Clinton, if it had not threatened our 1st amendment rights,, then perhaps the outcome would have been different.

Very good article Caitlin. Another person that was from the U.S. that our state department didn’t give a shit about was Gonzalo Lira. He really wasn’t a journalist per se, but a podcaster on YouTube, living in Ukraine. He was killed by the Ukrainians for simply speaking the truth about the war in Ukraine. He was murdered after being tortured in prison. I hate to think what the Israelis would have done to him if he had spoken up for the Palestinians and against the genocide in Gaza. Our government didn’t care one ioda for him b/c he wouldn’t tout the mainstream narrative. Like Julian Assange he had a wife and children. So sad indeed.😢☮️🇵🇸

Also "Disregard the screamers." It's a tactic as old as time here in the "free and democratic" West where "human rights" are always first and foremost.

"The problem for Milner was that he underestimated the impact that allegations of slavery and reports of vicious floggings would have on even his trusted Liberal friends like Asquith. Indeed, Milner was at times such a driven man that he failed to take account of the weight of opposition ranged against him. He warned his friend, Richard Haldane: ‘If we are to build up anything in South Africa, we must disregard, and absolutely disregard, the screamers.’98 It takes a very strong man to disregard the screamers: to ignore moral indignation, to put the cause before humanitarian concerns. Some frontline politicians find it all but impossible to stand against a torrent of public outrage, but those behind the curtain in the secret corridors of power can easily ignore ‘sentimentality’. Remember those words. They will reverberate through the pages of this book: ‘absolutely disregard the screamers’."

"Know how I know? Because it’s been getting worse and worse in Gaza for a whole year, and both Trump and Harris have pledged to continue unconditionally supporting the state that’s making it worse and worse."

Not only that, but regardless who wins, our one point of leverage will be gone after the election.

This is why liberals bleating about how "we'll hold her feet to the fire!" after the election are self-deluded.

The fact that they never tell us how they will do so simply shows that they're just telling themselves comforting lies and they know it.

From an article about JFK's assassination:

"The concept of 'chickens coming home to roost' brings to mind...Aimé Césaire’s definition of fascism as the application of colonialist procedures in Europe which had previously been applied to non-European peoples in countries like Vietnam, Madagascar, Algeria, and India. Césaire agreed that Nazism was 'the supreme barbarism, the crowning barbarism that sums up all the daily barbarisms,' but he emphasized a truth Westerners 'hide from themselves': that before the rest of Europe became fascism’s 'victims, they were its accomplices; that they tolerated Nazism [abroad] before it was inflicted on them, that they absolved it, shut their eyes to it, legitimized it… that they have cultivated that Nazism, that they are responsible for it, and that before engulfing the whole of Western, Christian civilization in its reddened waters, it oozes, seeps, and trickles from every crack.'"

Remember in Iraq when mainstream media/journalists were required to be “embedded” with the military? What a joke. “Here’s yr propaganda talking points.”

As bad as it is, and worse, really, as no food or aid is allowed in, there is movement in the periphery that could indicate alliances that will force changes (BRICS summit). The Zio entity’s huge economic losses and multi-front engagements will doom their Greater Iz.

As far as US elections, I bet they’ve Pre-selected Trump to reprise his role as domestic terrorist enforcer, as the genii is out of the bottle and they’ll need to squelch dissent.

This may sound like a non-sequitur, but it is not. When Captain Cook first sailed into a bay in Australia, the Aborigines did not see his ship. HMS Endeavour was a 368-ton three-masted ship with the main mast 69 feet high. No reaction from the residents. When Endeavour dropped their ship's boat into the water, the Aborigines saw that, and reacted. But they still didn't register the ship. This invisibility didn't just happen once, it was reported over and over again, that the local people could not see the ship.

So many people cannot see the fact that the U.S., who has invaded 68 countries, bombed 33 countries (some of them several times), and in 2020 alone, deployed our special forces on missions in 154 countries, is not acting out of goodness, good will, or to make the world a better place for humanity. When the U.S. has been "involved" militarily in all but three countries on the planet (one is Liechtenstein), how can people not see that we are the warmonger China has always called us? If a guy "slept" with as many women (or men) that we have been "involved" with militarily, and none of them were consensual, would anyone have a problem calling him a rapist?

But he's our blue-eyed boy! He has such great principles! He is the city on the hill! He wrote a Constitution! Self-government! Human Rights! Freedom! Democracy!

Stop looking at the little jolly boat. See the ship.

The Dems truly deserve to lose this election for being the most undemocratic party.

I cannot help but think that their DEI candidate was chosen long ago by someone/some entity to be the future president. First they ran her in the primaries but that failed miserably. Then they used her DEI credentials to be selected as the VP. Realizing her popularity as VP was so appalling, they knew she would never win a primary they purposely let Biden win the primaries. At the last possible moment the charade continued with Biden pulling out leaving her as the candidate

Her campaign has been absolutely atrocious to the point of her rejoicing from having received Dick and Liz Cheney's endorsement. Any sane candidate would have run far away from this neocon endorsement. Apart from those suffering from TDS I cannot imagine anyone casting a vote for her.

Personally I refuse to vote and I stand steadfast in that decision but is she not even worse than Trump?

Expand full comment

She doesn't have "DEI credentials". She has corrupt tool credentials.

Racist "white" people view her background as "DEI credentials"- that's about it. "DEI" is a term that has currency only in the debate between racist faux-liberals who use it to cover themselves and outright racists, for whom it is a talking point to stimulate hatred.

DEI is only relevant to the few minorities that are corruptible and therefore acceptable to the foul-liberals. Minorities who have morals and a conscience and speak it, dont get a foot in the door. Or if they slip through the net, they get thrown out.

Kamala Harris is amoral and thoroughly corrupted, and suitably lights skinned, and most important has zero actual African American background. It's most certainly not the interests of African Americans that she is furthering:

She is The Will To Power personified. This is why she seems so empty why she has no policies other than "whatever important people want", because once you look beyond The Will To Power you will stare into the abyss, because there is nothing else there.
