I think it was Senator Everett Dirksen way back in the 60s that stated that Washington DC was Israeli-controlled territory.

30 states have criminalized citizens supporting BDS activity against Israel.

A large number of city and county jurisdictions have been sending their police forces to Israel to be trained in the proper way to bash skulls.

Is Israel the US proxy or is the US Israel's proxy?

Expand full comment

Talking in terms of proxy is missing the point a bit. In some sense the US is the proxy, but usually a proxy would be receiving support from the core state, but in this case the core state is receiving support from the proxy.

The more apt analysis is a parasite-host relationship, where the parasite is obvious, and it hasn't just latched onto America, it's parasitic tentacles are reaching into everything.

I get your point, John, but the US has been arming and defending Israel's VIOLATIONS of International Law for so long at the UN Security Council, the US does Israel's bidding too!

Not necessarily. There are 267 Jewish Billionaires in this World. Half of the Billionaires in the US are Jewish.

Hamas, the acronym for Islamic Resistance Movement, doesn't have jet fighters, bombers, Apache attack helicopters, tanks, artillery and mostly BULLdozers like Israel.

According to the Geneva Convention and International Law, an OCCUPIED People has the legal right to resist the OCCUPIER, Israel.

Can you possibly entertain the idea that Hamas has ARISEN in response to 70 years of persecution of the Palestinian people, and if Israel had only been content to SHARE the area of Palestine with the Palestinians, or to insure that they had enjoyed the same rights as Jewish Israelis, there would be no need for Hamas? I have been listening to the Israelis saying for 40 years that the Palestinians have been the stumbling block in arriving at a two-state solution (b/c a one state solution where everyone enjoyed equal rights is anathema to Israel since they fear Palestinians would eventually become the majority and that would be a threat to Israel remaining a Jewish state). However, there seems to be increasing evidence that Israel never wanted a 2-state solution, and, perhaps through the help of the U.S., was so adept in laying the blame at the feet of the Palestinians. With 700,000+ settlers illegally occupying the West Bank, encouraged by the Israeli government, bolstered by the Israeli military, the evidence for what the Israeli government was about is clear.

It was always really obvious to me what banning tik tok was about: the US intelligence agencies can’t infiltrate or control it. They can’t control the narrative. It was never about “national security” in terms of Americans’ data being used abroad (if they cared about data privacy they’d rein in American companies…) nor is it about how addictive it is (again, no problem with American companies) the “national security” is that the nation doesn’t have a press beholden to it like how the establishment infiltrates all of American media. Btw I hate tik tok and don’t trust China for a second. But this is about the US government losing control and the plebes thinking for themselves instead of being told (at least by the American plutocrats) what to think.

All nation states (by that I mean the rulers and the elite that control these states) should/must be distrusted across the world. As Caitlin has explained in this article, ALL COUNTRIES maintain control (over their citizens) by managing/controlling the narratives. Power (and the people that wield power) must be looked at with a healthy dose of skepticism - whether it be US, China, Russia, UK, or any other country/place/organization on earth. There are no exceptions (IMHO).

The Chinese have repeatedly said that they support the rights of sovereign countries to govern themselves (the opposite of what the US do) and that they have no interest in taking over unipolarity but rather mutual investment for mutual growth. And all their actions have so far supported their words (the opposite of what the US does).

-They also breach our copywrite laws with counterfeit ACDs, DVDs, literature, which kills our industry and technology here!

It is not normal that we are seeing outright attempts at censorship. Sure, the propaganda is there, but it is less effective. I have not seen this in any video feed or credible accounts, but it is a trope that is not going away. And criticizing the military wing of Hamas for living beside the people of Gaza when THAT IS THE ONLY PLACE THEY ARE ALLOWED TO LIVE is just a manipulation of an obvious truism. Any argument to the effect that Hamas militants are "using human shields" or "hiding behind women and children" is not a rational observation or argument to justify the absolute carnage and misery we have witnessed in Gaza for 7 months and counting. Insurgents typically live among their people. This is no surprise and has been forever so. American colonial insurgents were living among their people and constituted only 1/3 of a population that consisted of royalists and those uncommitted to the cause. Macabeeans fought and lived among their people. Some in the Warsaw uprising referred to it as an intifada and they lived among their people in conditions akin to Gaza. This is not to justify the hate crimes of October 7, but to point out the poverty of the "hiding behind women and children" trope. The last election in Gaza was 2005. At least half the Gaza population wasn't even alive then and I am sure that no Gazan supports being used as a "shield" for anyone. So why kill them in such numbers and turn Gaza into a hellscape? I cannot improve on the many observations here that "this didn't start on October 7." Thank God that Israel and its patrons are losing the narrative, in fact may have already lost it. It is a terrible realization that I do and must live in a world that includes Mr. Karp. May his tribe decrease.

Reminds me of a scene in Dune 2, where Gurney Halleck is telling Paul about the Atreides nuclear arsenal, and then makes the remark, "Now that's where real power lies." Which is of course what he believes. But the irony Gurney fails to see, is the real power lies in Paul's ability to decipher his precognitive dreams, and once he takes the Water of Life, able to understand better a rich inner past. It turns out, that's where the real power lies.

The Bene Gesserit also in Dune 2, use narrative to control and move forward with their own plans. Good movie. Villeneuve did a great job in bringing the source material to light and didn't stray far from Dune's thematic content.

The thing that scares me in relation to Caitlin's wise words today is the fact that she is saying them in a public forum to which those empire puppets have access.

Drawing attention to what she has said might make them more aware that what she is saying, daily, is absolutely correct. But as it becomes so obvious to them, if it hasn't already, then mentioning it over and over will renew their efforts to bring it all to an end.. FAST. By any means.

Reference has been made to the last time such demonstrations were made and the resulting successful outcome. 1968, a long, long time ago. Things are different in 2024. Technology has now given them a brand new weapon to use, the likes of which was not around previously.

Add to that the 86%of Israeli owned corrupted politicians resident in the USA, remembering also that in November these people have no other choices but Genocide Joe and Terrible Trump, both tarred with the same brush, that is........

....total subservience to a third party, a disgraceful and hated state called Israel, which currently has the security forces, the politicians, the majority of people (or so it seems to me) and the media, everywhere, by the throat. That wasn't the case in 1968, for those who remember.

There is a need to mention the courage of our young students, wherever they demonstrate, but it is frightening to think that such a reference just adds to the resolve of the criminal class, all mentioned above, to become even more arrogant and increase their efforts substantially, as a result.

It should make everyone nervous as to what the Bidens, Blinkens and their Jewish masters are able to do in this day and age. If people like that think what is happening in Palestine is just, then the students on any campus, wherever it be located are different, only in their location. Such demonstrators are a sitting target for violence from Washington , state Governors like DeSantis and fully paid police officers who do not seem to give a damn as to who they hurt, even their own next door neighbour.

Yes. Different to 1968 in a country where based on electoral statistics, only 66% of the voters even bother to vote. With the choices they have, one has to ask, why would they?

Find some worthy Americans. There are millions of them available. Watch out though for the Israeli stooges. The USA government is full of them already. Paid in full!
