Being a WWII buff, l used to wonder how the people of Germany could let someone like Hitler rise to power. I no longer wonder about it, and haven't for some time.

It is strange that someone could understand that nation states are an illusion created by the global oligarchy and yet imagine China to be an exception.

Have you seen this quote from David Rockefeller praising Mao after the cultural revolution/democide? https://patri-x.com/david-rockefeller-the-social-experiment-in-china-under-chairman-maos-leadership-is-one-of-the-most-important-and-successful-in-history/

Yeah, that's just nonsense people (usually rightists) who don't understand China say. It's a completely different power structure that operates completely differently (https://redsails.org/china-has-billionaires/), which is why it's being targeted now. It was cozied up with temporarily, firstly to pull it away from the Soviet Union and secondly to extract massive profits via cheap labor, but it was never going to be permitted to surpass the US empire.

Caitlin, I'm afraid you just don't get it. When you write, "China is just as bad as the nation that's constantly bombing and destroying other countries." that's what's called a "false equivalency." You see, the US must NEVER be compared to any other country, because a comparison in and of itself is invalid, no matter the results. The exceptional, indispensable can never be compared to anything else. The murder of 6 or 8 or 10 million people all over the world in the last 60 years was "worth it" because US intentions are always good, and should not be compared to genocides anywhere else in the world, past or present, real or mythical.
