Well, they couldn't really write "IDF fires at starving, unarmed Gazans who have been lured into lines for food" now, could they? Wouldn't want to get TOO close to the truth.

HaHa - that made me laugh! Thank you, Caitlin, I needed that in this dystopian time and the morose mood that I find myself in.

The MEDIA are EVERY BIT as COMPLICIT as Israel, the U.S. Empire, and Zionists are in the perpetration and support of this ethnic-cleansing and Genocide.

Media personalities complicit in this should also be held liable and brought up for charges in front of the ICC (though I'm not sure what good that will do).

So the putrid excuse for reporting we get from the Times is commensurate with the putrid excuse for sentient beings we get from Israel. A match made in hell, but appropriate nonetheless.

Caitlin points out yet again how complicit the media is with the ongoing slaughter of Palestinians and the genocide in Gaza. Why else would they try to gloss over the Israeli and US new "hunger plan".

They are killing hundreds more Palestinians with implementing a new monstrous aid plan with starving Palestinians herded into cages by American mercenaries and shot at. Israel shoots, kills, and kidnaps Palestinian people seeking aid at these US run camps set up supposedly for food deliveries. As if they haven't starved and humiliated the Palestinians enough. We are confronting racism in its most ugliest and barbaric form.

Climate activist and humanitarian Greta Thunberg, who just set sail on the Freedom Flotilla boat to deliver aid to Gaza, captured exactly why this matters. "When we see the children of Gaza killed by Israel's war machine, their homes burned, schools bombed, and families destroyed, what kind of future do we have if we cannot stop this genocide today?”

What the western media is doing is obvious to a small number of people.

Why? Isn't it obvious?

To the small number of people it is. But to the large majority they are easily fooled. Easily manipulated.

Why?

One can only surmise it has something to do with our education system. It is dysfunctional.

It is not designed to educate but train.

To train people to think in a certain way. To keep the masses stay as clueless lemmings which will leap over the cliff when the time comes.

It has been my contention for decades now the current educational system is extremity harmful to society. Unless and until the world stop following the curriculum and booklists advocated by the west our world is doomed in more ways than one.

But you asked how can it be possible in non-white countries which are even anti-west the people are just as clueless?

Answer: Uncle Toms.

There are too many of them who are willing to betray their own race and country for a spot in the feeding trough of white supremacy.

I think it is more than just our education system. I think that people are bombarded every day with how evil and bad Russia, China, North Korea and other places are and filled up with how lucky we are to live in a free country and how we have to do whatever it takes to keep our "free country". I know people who have been not been educated in the school system, but they still believe we are free and just people. Social media has exacerbated this situation. I do agree that our education system is a pack of lies, but I don't think that is the only issue.

I understand the sentiment. You might be amazed at the tens of thousands of dollars worth of damage that carpenter ants, mice and red squirrels can do after they get into your house. Trying to negotiate with them is futile.

Bacteria and viruses can kill you or cripple you. They don’t negotiate, either. Your body has natural defenses that kill harmful bacteria and viruses without your awareness. You house deadly armies of defenders within yourself. You would die without them.

The US public schools system was designed to serve the interests and needs of private Capitalist industry. Students are trained to be obedient and compliant and to worship Capitalism. Wealthy parents send their children to expensive private schools to prepare them for careers in companies or institutions that are within their parents’ spheres of influence.

This system has not changed significantly since the Middle Ages when the schools existed primarily for the wealthy.

Kojo,

Keep letting your audience know that Zionists are not Jews, and legitimate Jews are not Zionists. Hypocrites may claim to be both, just as Joe Biden has a long history of calling himself Catholic and Zionist.

Also, “Evangelicals” cannot be both Christian and Zionist unless they are Hypocrites. Hypocrisy is a very popular religion, as is Capitalism. The worship of large “C” private Capitalism trumps (pun intended) all other religions. The Hebrew Sadducees, Pharisees, money changers were the hypocritical Capitalists of the New Testament of the Bible. They were not devout Jews. They viewed Jesus of Nazareth as a threat to their undeserved authority.

2,000 years later, the Sadducees, Pharisees, money changers are still attempting to exert their authority, with deadly consequences.

Interesting thoughts. I would disagree with the conclusion. In the u.s. this is a class divided education system. The wealthy can do no wrong, greed is good. Everyone who does not submit is a terrorist. Not that race doesn't still play a large part in failure. The funding mechanism alone tells all. Most states fund through property taxes and the wealthy would say of course we produce all that is good, we alone should have the educators and privileges for our children. A first year working class teacher I spoke to a a rally against everything, told me she struggled to pay rent, car and student loans and wasn't sure she could continue working at that school district. We may need to sharpen the guillotines, just joking of course?
