I've been a Matt Orfalea fan for a while now. He is doing a great public service by exposing these false narratives before they grow cold. I hope one day soon we'll be able to look back at some of them and say, "What idiots we were to believe such complete and utter shite!"

The picture where Mr. Sarkozy ex PM of France warmly embraces Gaddafi and calls him a great friend of the European people lives very vividly in my mind. Two weeks later, Gaddafi is already murdered by French, British, US, etc. with help !

I am always worried that when the Western politician hugs Mr. Viktor Orbán and calls him his friend, when will the fighter bombers come to us too ? If already during our elections, the USA openly sent several million dollars to the opposition consisting of former communists to replace the government of Viktor Orbán, which was chosen by the free will of the Hungarian people !

We have a popular saying here: "A bucket of shit is also suitable for putting out a fire!"

According to my daily experience, the USA can embrace anyone, be it Nazi, communist, ISIS, DAESH, etc. who does the work according to the dirty goals ! Let's just remember Wernher von Braun, the Nazi father of the US space industry, or Reinhard Gehlen, who did indispensable work for the CIA ! Here in Hungary, for example, the communist leaders were not allowed to be held accountable after 1991, so they successfully stole most of the country's industry from us. The then US ambassador Mark Palmer informed the then Hungarian government that the communists were "untouchable" ! Even in the last election, the opposition, which consisted mostly of communists and left-liberals, was supported with millions of dollars against the Orbán government elected by the Hungarian people !

The US government does not like Orban either, but will gladly support him if he turns tables and supports their endless war machine.

The only thing that the US government is interested in, is enriching about 50 billionaires and mulitmilliniaire oligarchs in the US. The entire rest of the planet are just pawns in their game of enriching those few people.

I was born within weeks of Sputnik and grew up swimming in Cold War propaganda and public schools as institutions to indoctrinate and stress science and technology. In fact, I can still recall, maybe 3rd or 4th grade, when I did a book report on Wernher von Braun as a scientific hero!

=== I hope one day soon we'll be able to look back at some of them and say, "What idiots we were to believe such complete and utter shite!" ===

Real talk: if I was ever part of a 'we' that was vulnerable to GloboShlomo levels of propaganda, I would off myself.

Of course that would require that had enough vestigial self-awareness to realise what was going on - that's a genuine metacognitive issue that gives me night terrors: waking up one morning with an IQ within 2sd of the mean.

I remember when John Campbell was pro-vaxx and was repeating WHO talking points: as I said then, he is a spineless piece of shit. I'm not going to change my evaluation just because he's changed jerseys.

I remember when Aseem Malhotra was telling people to get vaccinated: that set fire to the grudging respect I had for him after his 2017 talk to the EU Parliament about Pharma, and his solid work against statins. He changed his mind based on his father's death - an anecdote, in the grand scheme of things. That's literally the opposite of evidence-based medicine.

I remember when Berezovsky was funding the "Orange Revolution" in 2004.

I remember when Colin Powell played House Nigra in the UNSC, and when Tony BLiar and Condoleeeeeeza Rice talked about mushroom clouds.

I remember it all. I want them all dead - along with every trace of their DNA. It would be even better if it happened as painfully as possible - some form of haemorrhagic fever where they shit out their own entrails would be perfect. I'm sure they're working on such a thing.

"a genuine metacognitive issue that gives me night terrors: waking up one morning with an IQ within 2sd of the mean"

It is my observation that it has nothing to do with IQ. It's more an instinctive need to be a loyal group member. "My country may she always be right, but my country right or wrong." -- Thomas Paine

Sometimes lack of access to truthful information matters, but common sense should be enough to realize that the USA blew up the Nordstreem pipeline. I was appalled that professional propagandists couldn't come with a better lie than that.

The war in Ukraine.. proxy, but that doesn’t matter if you are one of the souls killed, and it’s a huge amount on both sides.. is just another classic example of false narrative. Media saturation of the biggest movement of troops and displaced people since the Second World War. Putin a deranged lunatic with nuclear weapons at the ready. A push of a button away from total destruction for everyone, then a few months later NATO expansion began to be spoken of. Now that’s the narrative, but bleeding Russia dry of troops and money is praised as a bargain for the US investment in Ukraine. So cynical it can almost make you lose faith in your fellow man, till you realise your fellow man, no matter where he lives on the planet, has about as much input into the formation of narrative, the actions of government, as you yourself do. Some even less so. We must count our blessings, take care of our young and vulnerable, and stop watching tv for chrissakes! Especially the news channels.

The first headlines seem to be the most important ones. No matter the content, or context, once they are out, the eyeballs can no longer unsee them. Social media has made things worse, or better, depending on your point of view, in that a story can be dissected, all manner of additional narratives woven into it, and within hours a juicy headline can have grown multiple arms and legs. It can put families against each other, as the last few years have shown. Even now, as I read the comments above, I bristle at words like sheep being used to describe people. I find that language unhelpful, and divisive. But to argue the point only adds to the confusion. Online. Which means it’s always a win win for those purveyors of deception.

Without any shadow of a doubt the proxy war in the Ukraine was about NATO’s expansionism and creating a hot, toe to toe front line with Russia. The only ones benefiting being the warmongers who longed for the Cold War days, the arms dealers rubbing their hands gleefully at the thought of ‘standardising’ every bit of kit , weapons and ammunition for the foreseeable future and the right wing fascist element within the Ukraine itself.

Russia simply wanted the Ukraine to remain an independent sovereign state as a buffer between the two sides to relieve tension. Putin had even refrained from answering pleas from the three ethnically Russian States of East Ukraine who had been targeted and bombed by central Ukrainian government since the 2014 accord.

But pushed by NATO aka American European Army the Ukraine ignored Russia and anti war pleas and pushed forward for as much economic gain for those in power than any political or military reason to dive in head first. The result being a disposed population, thousands dead or maimed, infrastructure destroyed, don’t worry Uncle Sam’s Imperialist drive has back breaking loans in place with American contractors to rebuild infrastructure- sound familiar at all? See the pattern minus American body bags?

The staggering thing that no one mentions is that the Ukraine is no longer an independent Soverigh State but another vassal state of the U.S.A, completely owned as they will never be able to repay the interest on the loans securing military aide and now the colossal task of rebuilding the country. Plus the brain drain of those who have fled all around Europe as much economic refugees as those displaced by war. They will never return. It seems the EU regulations don’t apply to non European white Christians to stop at the nearest country able to offer aide unlike the camps at Calais which are brown skinned Muslims who must be sent back to face death in countries still tearing themselves apart with civil war following the U.S. running away sorry, tactical retreat from Kabul leaving thousands to be slaughtered who had worked on camps and as interpreters as well as drone and missile technology and well guarded poppy fields for the Taliban.

This gives a whole new depth to the ‘beyond sattire’ concept and confirms that the USA is the biggest terrorist state on the planet who makes deals and shakes the hands of other terrorists who killed thousands of US troops and unknown amount of civilians over the past twenty years.

Not only do they want to conduct these highly illegal and immoral activities but they want the world to see them doing doing it. Elite narcissists at play or a warning to the rest of the world that no one is safe. The CIA having conducted 50 known coups in foreign sovereign countries since WWII.

I’m sure the Taliban are publicly opposed to pushing heroin but we’re talking about a ‘trade’ that has been going on for centuries. The Taliban have very limited ways in raising money to buy weapons due to strict embargoes imposed on the region and this is a big cash crop. The facts as I see them are a) US troops did protect the poppy fields b) they did not burn/destroy them on draw down c) the Taliban are now in control of the region. Usual military protocol is to burn or bury anything you do not wish to fall into enemy hands. But it wouldn’t surprise me if others cashed in on this protection too.

Interesting that Paul Craig Roberts just published his book The Empire of Lies.

This video reminds of the one where all the US politicians were gloating over the blowing up of the Nordstream pipelines (smirk smirk) It was obvious from day one the US did it as they are the only ones that had the technology to do it , evil enough to betray Europe, and stupid enough to think people wouldn't realize it was them. Blowing things up is the only thing Washington does.

"stupid enough to think people wouldn't realize it was them" I think they were trying to intimidate the vassal states into falling more closely in line by making it clear the USA had done it. Perhaps said intimidation has been successful.

Every one of the scum in Mr. Orfalea’s mashup would need to be sent to The Hague to answer for their war crimes and crimes against humanity in a world in which law means anything at all. It does not mean anything at all. I hope I live long enough for some other country to establish a “rules based order” in which that some other country makes the rules and the ex-US empire gets to take the orders. "It’s good that there are people compiling records of these lies, because we’ll be certain to need use of them in the future to remind everyone what these monsters are really all about".

One has to ask in answer to this statement, in particular "to remind everyone", just who is everyone? Everyone who wants to know, knows now ,having had the opportunity to listen and watch, when listening and watching was of any value. Certainly not since the CIA controlled the media. This includes the great majority of voters who based on the past choices available for Presidents and politicians obviously really couldn't give a damn. They know that one is a mirror image of the other. There has got to be a major element of media honesty to satisfy an educated and informed voting population from the 330 million American population, whatever that narrows down to in voting numbers.

Those days are gone. A Democrat is the same as a Republican. Decent government does not seem to be the objective in 2024. Control, power, profit are the only motives and whatever it takes by way of bribery, threats or corruption under the auspices of groups of Neocons, militarists, government instrumentalities like the CIA and FBI as well as the BlackRocks and the foreign based controllers of all US government decisions from Israel.

Not a promising outlook. The lies will be standard fare until the USA itself is under threat.

I recall when Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer emphasized that the newly elected "commander in chief" was a fool to challenge the intelligence community. It seemed to me that he was so accustomed to the military being in charge, that everyone he knew took it for granted and talked about it routinely, that he forgot he wasn't supposed to say that on national television.

There are many examples of this.
