Thanks Caitlin for calling it as it is. The unipolar world is the very reason we must establish the multipolar world ASAP. Fifty years from now this is going to be looked back on as a very dark age.

We should also bear in mind the American empire is a clone of British empire which committed its share of atrocities world wide. Notice today how London and Washington work in close collaboration on many issues . Note too how pathetic Britain and so many former European imperialists are washed out vassal states cannibalized by the empire they serve.

My Canada and your Australia have a lot common and it is a painful spectacle to watch.

The Empire cracked wide open this week, when Saudi Arabia joined BRICS -

That move destroys the fulcrum and entire basis for the US Imperial plan/strategy in the Middle East, triggers the end of the Petro-dollar and US dollar as the world's currency, and likely ends a multi-billion market for the US weapons dealers.

Way to go Joe!

Yup, and there are now 134 non-aligned countries . In the conceited West we have a hard time accepting we only speak for 13% of the world's population. The world cannot afford minority despotism.

Actually, yes—the best thing Joe has done is lead the US fiddling to its collapse.

I believe this was all a planned operation. Their goal was to bring down the dollar as an excuse to force this digital currency on everyone. They will literally make bitcoin and cash illegal. Having complete and total control now over our very existence. Obviously you won't even be able to put gas in your car to gather for a revolt without them seeing it and immediately turning your money off. Schwab talks about how everything we own will be "Tokenized" so every single thing is tracked all the time! This is far worse than 1984.

You're spot on except: They don't want bitcoin. They can't control it.

Only thing is, dire predictions by empire watchers are meant to take the stuffings out of anyone who is thinking of revolt before they ever get up the courage. I’ve seen so many predictions made from ‘62 onwards that were meant to scare the pop into line not come true that I don’t even listen to them anymore.

Yeah good luck with that. If even half of this is true you can see what has already been done to stop it. Perhaps CBDC is the final nail in this coffin.

Of course then it needs to be determined who actually controls Uncle Satan's empire which of course is the wealthy elites and their corporations that fund the politicians and staff the CIA and State Department which, as David Talbot reveals in "The Devil's Chessboard", were pretty much set up by the Dulles Brothers in collaboration with Wall Street after WWII, to be the foundation for this Empire. If not for their ideological biases we could be living in a much better world. Sadly though a lot of their beliefs continue to inform the decisions of the Ivy Leaguers who occupy decision centres of the Intelligence and foreign policy communities.

Excellent synopsis. Add to that the mafia influence as Whitney Webb has written about and you get the trifecta.

Yes David does discuss the mafia connections and uses but not in as much detail as Whitney.

America, Australia, Canada and New Zealand are the way they are because of Britain. The British were doing the exact same thing to most of the world for centuries. Now they all work together under the agreement made when the Five Eyes was created soon after WW2.

It all of the British Empire’s sins against humanity, did it ever drop nuclear-armed warheads on civilian populations? The American brand of imperial dominance may owe more to its envy and admiration of the National Socialists in Germany than to its ancestral ties to the Brits.

Nah. That's pure, homegrown American exceptionalism and arrogance. We didn't need either the British or the Germans to teach us any lessons there.

Give us some credit for hubris, at least!

I don’t know where the use of the term “American exceptionalism” originated, but it’s convenient how it normalizes criminality.

I believe Putin was in the right to mount a special operation in Ukraine. It was rife with Nazis and still is.That is the Western supported element forcing Ukraine to hang in when they should have complied with Russia's legitimate objectives years ago. I have seen clips of early twentieth century Nazism in Ukraine:a bsolutely soul-destroying. It isn't a question of what other countries would do, although not a single nuke power would have done differently: Russia is 100% in the right, has attacked no-one - unlike the majority of powerful countries, has no plans to do so, except in self-defence.

"Cornel West is morally and intellectually superior to literally every single government official in Washington and it’s not even remotely close."

Truth! It's why the establishment party is trying to smear and intimidate him already. They're terrified that he sets a standard for government office holders that they'll never be able to live up to. But the more they try to mudsling, the more the dirt sticks to them and not Dr. West. It's time to bury them all the way up to their necks in their own filth!

I thought I was the world expert on pessimism and paranoia, but today's blog takes the cake (if there is a cake). Did anyone go out and subvert, deflect, sabotage, suborn, weaken, undercut, escape from the Empire this week? (Don't write it here if you did. The cops can read the net, too.) Hatch any plots? If you don't hatch a plot, how you gonna get free, hmm? Complaining about how awful and powerful the Empire is just sets the Empire bastards up. When they read that they know they're hitting on all cylinders.

Another great article Caitlin. I don't believe that there will be an easy answer to the mess we are in. It took decades to create the beast. It will take a groundswell change in perspective by the populace to even begin. Then, incremental changes may be able to turn this mess around. Term limits+eradicating lobbyists=negating the military/industrial complex. That's a start! It's always the money trail. Follow the money trail.

There is still a big elephant in the room called CBDC. From financial advisors I hear Biden is going to do the "Dollar Recall" come September 20th. This gives them total control. When the court ordered them to stop violating the constitution they immediately appealed it and Lindsey and another criminal brought forth a new bill to completely wipe out the 1st amendment. Once again we have no vote, no right to question and they do the dirty deed anyway. Everyone is aware of Bidens corruption but it goes unchecked and now we will see the total destruction of our country as you can't protest since they can track your movements and turn off your money. This is by far the most corrupt criminal organization on the planet and there is no way to escape it.
