As to the rest, I am a Christian & the New Testament ( I don’t read the OT) has served me well to seek truth & be against genocide, tortures & what is happening to the Palestinians. Though, some are Palestinians are Christians; most are Muslims. I don’t love my Christian Palestinians more than my ( yes “mine” as those Muslims Palestinian are always in my heart) Muslim Palestinians. To see innocents Muslims being abused, tortured, humiliated does not hurt my soul less, if the abuse it’s against innocent Christians. I attribute that to my strong belief in Christ.
My Christian belief has helped me be strong in the face of injustice. The inner strength comes from it. I have no problem with atheists. I never tried to convert them, because belief or no- belief in religion is a very personal choice. If any atheist tries to beckon me to disregarding my Christianity I simply tell them— I stay on my lane & you stay on your lane.
It is a complete waste of my & atheists time (plus it’s rude), to dissuade any atheist to my belief in God & Christ, & the exact same goes, for an atheist to dissuade me from God & Christ.
I'm not an atheist at all, on the contrary. I just don't believe that a cruel idol like the Yahweh of the Bible can be the true God. I leave it that, this is not the place to discuss this item.
