Yes, anything and everything that threatens to bypass the Empire’s grip on the world compels it to tighten its hold, to reinforce its supremacy.
The Empire was built on supremacy. With its might, it elevates those in its favor, the faithful slaves, it needs to help extract and hoard wealth from those deemed disposable. And it takes pleasure in making the rest suffer. That suffering inflates the Empire’s illusion of chosen, of being superior, exceptional, divinely ordained.
But the Empire has grown top-heavy. The elites have hoarded so much that even the favored slaves are miserable.

Yup the last president of USA who was approaching a true anti-war position was Kennedy. Hard to know if he would have followed through if given the chance. Any president after that knows better than to tussle with the war party if he decides we've had enough war.
All the money put into weapons and military is basically stolen from the wage slaves to profit the "owners" and keep the slaves hungry so they work harder. The owners are not going to allow this to change. Overthrowing them means being more powerful, and if that should succeed (unlikely) the new power will use the same methods to sustain itself.
Here is some evidence to the contrary of your "JFK being an anti-war President" ->
In October 1963, the White House publicly proposed the removal of United States troops from Vietnam, earning President Kennedy an enduring reputation as a skeptic on the war. In fact, Kennedy was ambivalent about withdrawal and was largely detached from its planning. Drawing on secret presidential tapes, Marc J. Selverstone reveals that the withdrawal statement gave Kennedy political cover, allowing him to sustain support for U.S. military assistance. Its details were the handiwork of Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, whose ownership of the plan distanced it from the president.
Selverstone’s use of the presidential tapes, alongside declassified documents, memoirs, and oral histories, lifts the veil on this legend of Camelot. Withdrawal planning was never just about Vietnam as it evolved over the course of fifteen months. For McNamara, it injected greater discipline into the U.S. assistance program. For others, it was a form of leverage over South Vietnam. For the military, it was largely an unwelcome exercise. And for JFK, it allowed him to preserve the U.S. commitment while ostensibly limiting it.
The Kennedy Withdrawal offers an inside look at presidential decisionmaking in this liminal period of the Vietnam War and makes clear that portrayals of Kennedy as a dove are overdrawn. His proposed withdrawal was in fact a cagey strategy for keeping the United States involved in the fight—a strategy the country adopted decades later in Afghanistan.
(Ref: "The Kennedy Withdrawal: Camelot and the American Commitment to Vietnam" by Marc J. Selverstone)
HaHaHa. Yes, people love extolling their heroes. You will find similar articles for almost EVERY controversial important figure.
Eg. Books have been written about Winston Churchill on both sides of the aisle. Similarly, books about Israel have been written on both sides of the aisle. If someone doesn't like a book, they simply write a criticism of it (like the one you provided) as some kind of 'debunking'. That's a kindergarten strategy. I thought you'd be wiser than that, but I guess people hate it when their 'heroes' are attacked.
“The Kennedy Withdrawal is so agenda driven, so littered with dubious assumptions, so averse to logic and common sense, that its less a book than a curiosity piece.”
~~~
The article I posted was focused on the book you are promoting. The above quote applies to the book you are promoting. What’s this Ha Ha Ha shit? Argue the merits of the criticism leveled against your so-called “evidence.” Try to read the article first. Your dismissiveness is unbecoming.
He didn't start any new wars during his first term in office, not so much because he was opposed to war, just because war didn't seem to interest this self-involved narcissist.
He wasn't when he bombed Syria nor when he was supplying killing cylinders to Ukraine and Israel i.e., he never was. MAGA is as dumb as the people they oppose.
Trump has blown it three ways...more bombings, refusal to condemn the mRNA poisons and enacting the "hands off" for 10 years policy for his retarded A/i initiatives. Our pal Trump same as our pal joey.
The flag is a shroud stitched with dead men's oaths,
the White House a tomb where democracy choked.
They take minutes for mourning between stock trades,
The Supreme Court's scales are rusted shut—
justice dangles from a meat hook, gutted.
The Constitution's parchment feeds the fire
while lobbyists piss gasoline on the pyre.
Watch the Senate chamber: a dissection theater,
cadaver-laws twitch as donors breathe into them.
The President's speech is a ventilator's hiss—
flatline rhetoric in a war-lit abyss.
B-52s write prescriptions in the desert sky,
each missile a syringe for the oil-rigged vein.
Back home, the ambulances circle the capital,
but the medics are vultures, the cure is treason.
We are the necrosis. We are the infection.
The founding fathers' bones rattle with laughter
in their lead-lined graves. The American Dream?
A cadaver spasm. A death rattle. A fever scream.
The autopsy report, unsigned, reads only:
The Lincoln Memorial is a morgue slab now—
they hose the marble down at dawn,
washing away the protestor’s blood
The National Archives? A butcher’s ledger.
Every amendment a self-inflicted wound
stitched shut with barbed wire and stock tickers.
The Bill of Rights peels like dead skin
Watch the State of the Union:
a corpse puppet with lithium eyes,
lips moving with someone else’s scream,
while beneath the podium—
a slow drip of meltwater
The Supreme Court’s robes are woven
from Guantanamo jumpsuits,
their gavel cracks like ice
over a detainee’s kneecap.
*"We find for the plaintiff"* translates to
The Capitol Rotunda’s frescoes peel—
angels becoming drones becoming flies.
Beneath the floorboards:
And you—citizen—
your ballot is a toe tag.
Your protest a seizure.
Your hope a biohazard
in the CDC’s darkest freezer.
The only remaining monument:
a single, rusted IV pole
on the National Mall at midnight,
dripping black ink
into the Potomac’s paralyzed veins.
The autopsy was falsified.
The coroner suicided.
The disease *is* the cure.
Reject the American-Israeli (judeo-Christian) aggression against Iran!
Israel is outside the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and is not subject to comprehensive inspections. Iran has accepted the highest number of inspections, but instead of being thanked, it is being bombed and its civilians are being targeted.
America's cowardly aggression against Iran's nuclear facilities violates all international laws and conventions."
Hell! The 1963 post Cold War deep state ameriKKKa and the 1954 AIPAC American Israel Public Affairs Committee wrote the script!
It is. Critical remember the deep state’s 1947 Truman doctrine, the 1948 Marshall plan, the 1997 PNAC project for a new american century ‘rebuilding america's defenses’, the 2001 ‘full spectrum domination doctrine’ and the 1996 ‘clean break; strategy for securing the realm’ policy documentation. Don't forget NORTHCOM command (continuity of Government group), MILNET and the GOLDEN DOME project!!
"War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent states alone, but affect the whole world. To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole." – International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg
It's not a war it was a military strike. Being "anti-war" doesn't mean you don't do what's right against evil actors. Trump has been clear when saying he will not start foreign wars or want to participate in regime change.
While it’s true that Trump is a dangerous warmonger it doesn’t matter who is in the presidency now - this horror was going to happen one way or another with anyone allowed near the office.
It isn't totally correct to blame any President alone. They are the figure head yes, but as Brian Berletic points out all the time, the US Deep State conjured up these plans long, long ago. The US "continuity of agenda" always wins no matter who is President.
And that includes Trump. He wouldn't be doing this if the "Deep State" hadn't given hime the go-ahead.
He was neither poor not innocent. He was a pawn in their game, like all presidents of the uniparty in this 21st century. Deep State wrote the PNAC playbook and implemented it by engineering a "pearl harbor-like event".
Obama was a creation of the overlords. Was not a "community organiser" in Chicaga - that was a long term move in brand positining, decided by his patrons.
Mom was likely CIA too. And grandfather. And he was in Skull & Bones at Yale.
Not electected. Selected. Politics in the US is a theatrically staged charade.
I remember, in his first presidency, Trump saying, referring to nuclear bombs, "If we have them, why don't we use them?" Direct quote; I heard it myself. He WANTS to use a nuclear bomb on someone and, since he's beholden to Israel, it will be Iran, another innocent country, but this time, it will affect all the world, the bombs now are many times what the ones used on Japan were. He may end our world.
He opens his mouth and crazy shit pours out. Whether or not he acts on these insane ideas is up for grabs. He's also likely to say one thing and backtrack on it the next day. He's unbalanced and capricious.
41 years later, any year now! They have 8 nuclear facilities but any year now they'll build a nuke to retroactively justify Israel genociding everybody they see! They're all prosecuted, don't you know! Persecuted by all the victims they constantly create.
Caitlin is absolutely right to declare that Trump authorized this entire thing. It is a fiction to believe that Israel runs the US.
Now if you want to talk about the "Jewish Supremacists" that populate the American Government and the deep state, sure. But they don't really care about Israel. They are pushing for US Empire Which is slipping through their fingers.
They struck Iran while Trump was deceptively going through the motions of a negotiation with them to lull them in to a false sense of security. This is only a steeping stone to Russia and China and I do not believe they will stand by much longer. The U.S. is like a mad dog and the sooner it is put down the better.
Completely agree with you on this JohnOnKaui. I wonder why more people don't realize this and are still misled by the 'Israel' narratives. Could it be because of 'American Exceptionalism' biases?
Agree completely. We have but one party in the US, and it is wholly corporate-owned and pro-war. It is totally devoted to the expansion of empire. Human life doesn't matter a bit (and is always expendable)--what matters is profits. We are ruled by sociopaths.
"it doesn’t matter who is in the presidency now"? Did it matter when there was a senile man in office, did it matter it Trumps first term, or during the 8 years of being doped and economic pain, or the 8 years prior when this centuries crusades began? The last time the US president who wanted peace, he was shot in head. Perhaps Trump is simply trying not to get shot again.
I did not intend to imply that Kennedy was entirely against war. To be the Emperor of an empire built on aggression requires that you be at least a bit of a warmonger. We will never know anything for sure, but it was not long after Kennedy's Peace Speech that he was assassinated. I highly recommend you read or listen to it, it is a profound speech. It’s a shame few truly understand its depth of humanity.
Jimmy Carter may have been the least aggressive [president]. Interestingly, it was another buffoon actor and warmonger, Reagan, who helped end the Cold War with the USSR. I’m not a fan of Reagan, but it was not Reagan who betrayed the world, and Russia, with belligerent NATO expansion.
The potential for peace that Ronald Reagan and Gorbachev gave us has been squandered. The arms treaties they helped forge have been abandoned. Russia is lost. The significance of the betrayal by the U.S. and Europe has yet to be understood by many, but today's young Russians will never think of themselves as Europeans, and those that did have discarded such notion
Sure, many speeches are profound. But I would be naive (and a fool) if I judged people based on the speeches they gave. FYI, Presidents (and higher-level politicians have speech writers as official govt. employees of the administration).
There is much more to JFK than the revisionist narratives after his death. I recommend reading REAL history about JFK (especially those written before he was extolled to no end after his assassination).
There is often a large gap between 'the image' and 'the reality' of such figures. Another example is Winston Churchill. There are actually numerous examples from history, but few people bother to actually DIG IN into the nuts-and-bolts of such histories.
Not sure why you're comparing Presidents here, as it is irrelevant to this discussion.
Peace to the Western Empire means the U.S. arms industry getting its way and killing millions of innocent people. Until this irrational, dysfunctional entity is destroyed there will be no significant peace.
Every leader of every country that has supported Israel by sending weapons or not sanctioning Israeli leaders is complicit in this horrible, unprovoked attack.
True, but all those leaders owe their position of power to the American Oligarchy. AIPAC finances their political campaigns as well. AIPAC is a front for "Jewish Supremacists" but it is also assisted by non-Jewish Billionaires. The US Deep State has been writing about this war for years.
You have correctly stated that Trump is the US empire, unmasked. What I saw tonight in his address to the nation was the US empire, unhinged. He looked demon possessed.
However, the USA is in charge. Specifically the "Deep State", but the definition of "Deep State" is quite convoluted. Mostly though it is the American Billionaires who continue to seek American Hegemony -- but that's too simple.
Anyway, Israel is just a proxy state exactly like Ukraine.
What in the world makes you think anything I said indicated Congress is in charge of anything.
AIPAC is the front for the "Jewish Supremacists" that Finkelstein talks about. Congress only gets elected if AIPAC supports them. They do what the "Deep State" tells them to do.
I recommend Aaron Good's "Empire and the Deep State" series on YouTube.
Or if that's too much work, Good's interview with Jeffrey Sachs:
I think this thing is so nuanced. It's like we all have on masks and were are at different parts of the elephant. Optics are one thing, reality is another. I bet that even on the inside, the insiders don't know it all. And are fighting with each other.
I read that Tulsi was not even in the meetings when they were deciding about whether to bomb Iran. My mother always said, "There's no honesty among thieves." If they can throw their base under the bus, we mean nothing. Epstein might just be a red herring, there are probably even worse things these folks are doing. #PDiddy perhaps??
It seems even Putin has thrown Iran under the bus with comments on how much/most of Israel is Russian. I despise Pakistanis, but if their government follows through and nukes Israeli targets I'd raise my glass to them.
Mark Sleboda reports that Iran specifically asked Russia (and China) to not help for fear it would give Trump more of excuse to attack. What happens next, who knows.
The Pakistan threat to nuke Israel has been shown to be a hoax.
I am well aware of that and yet Putin's comment reeks of screwing his allies. And this from someone who has long viewed Putin as one of the more rational leaders on the world stage.
What does Putin stand to gain from Israel? They're already implicated in providing support for the attack on the strategic bombers. And they provided air defense missiles and other weapons to Ukraine and hosted many Russians who dislike Putin and fled to Israel including Zelensky's parents, at the start of the SMO.
If he didn't want to take action that Iran did not want then it would be preferable to keep his mouth shut as the comments he made signals to others like the US that he doesn't have his ally's back.
There is a difference between not providing support which wasn't sought and sticking the knife in. It gives the impression to outsiders that the Russian government is just as badly infiltrated with zionists as the American government.
Bombing any nuclear site is a crime, a violation of international law. How many news publications even mentioned that? Radiation is dangerous to all life and may be for tens of thousands of years. These jokers are bragging about violating the law, breaking the peace, violating sovereign nations, and endangering us all.
Like Netanyahu, Trump is using American troops in the region as human shields practically daring Iran to launch missiles at U.S. Military bases and kill American soldiers.
Then, Trump would, perhaps, use a nuclear weapon to escalate the "shock and awe" aimed at all the BRICs nations who are the intended targets of this terrorist campaign.
Several analysts have pointed out that the Nimitz is ending its life-cycle. It will be useless in the Persian gulf. But it is being set up for a false flag as Israel sinks it -- like the USS Liberty.
Actually even before that. Berletic often refers to the 2019 RAND paper on how to use Ukraine to "extend Russia". There's also a Brookings paper that discusses the operations needed to take down Iran. In both cases, the US was to act as if it was reluctant to take on these roles.
If you need more, Brian Berletic of the New Atlas is on Substack and YouTube.
Not sure which is more despicable - the continued unprovoked attacks on other sovereign countries, or the western penchant for assuming the victim role when the us provokes a military response from (again) another sovereign country IT JUST FREAKING BOMBED.
I'm fully disgusted with this. We can kill any number of foreign civilians, but a single american soldier dies because of us actions, it's fodder for MOAR WAR!!!
All countries in the Global South should have their own nuclear weapons, so as to safeguard themselves from the Zionists and white supremacists who seem to think that only they are entitled to have them. And threaten others with annihilation.
In a saner world no one should have them. But the realty of the dystopia we live in is such this just doesn't seem possible.
Israel flouts international law and won't even disclose how many they have. Why is that possible?Follow North Korea and have your own.
Trump is merely following orders from Netanyahu, his political patron and close associate of his son-in-law’s family. His actions are also a way to justify the massive financial support he received from Miriam Adelson, the billionaire casino magnate. At the heart of it, his decisions are driven by personal gain and loyalty to powerful allies, not national interest or principle. Compounding this danger is the influence of fanatical, superstitious figures in his inner circle, such as Huckabee and Lindsey Graham, whose extreme evangelical beliefs fuel reckless policies. They are fixated on triggering apocalyptic events, viewing unwavering support for Israel as a means to hasten Armageddon and the return of the messiah. It’s deeply irrational and alarming that such delusions are shaping real-world geopolitics with far-reaching consequences.
Incisive as ever and so much for Trump's a la carte isolationism. I'm putting together my own response for substack NOW with some historical context, plus the observation that the media is no longer covering the genocide in Palestine. The fact that it is Adolf Trump in the White House is significant because Israel has always needed a war with Iran to annex the West Bank and while successive US and British administrations have picked up the bill for Israel's crimes active participation at this level wasn't on the menu - until now. There's also the issue of Trump's internal problems, overplaying his hand by sending troops into California ILLEGALLY to prop up his ICE Gestapo. He needs a war and a state of emergency but this won't be his Falklands moment - it will be his Suez.
Right, Roger. This action helps to distract from tRump's domestic 'difficulties'. We must also consider his very fragile ego. And the fact that in your guts, you know he's nuts. He really is the ultimate loose cannon. A psychiatrist's dream, the world's nightmare.
So much for the “anti-war” president…
In fact, Kennedy was ambivalent about withdrawal and was largely detached from its planning. Drawing on secret presidential tapes, Marc J. Selverstone reveals that the withdrawal statement gave Kennedy political cover, allowing him to sustain support for U.S. military assistance. Its details were the handiwork of Defense Secretary Robert McNamara, whose ownership of the plan distanced it from the president.
Selverstone’s use of the presidential tapes, alongside declassified documents, memoirs, and oral histories, lifts the veil on this legend of Camelot. Withdrawal planning was never just about Vietnam as it evolved over the course of fifteen months. For McNamara, it injected greater discipline into the U.S. assistance program. For others, it was a form of leverage over South Vietnam. For the military, it was largely an unwelcome exercise. And for JFK, it allowed him to preserve the U.S. commitment while ostensibly limiting it.
The Kennedy Withdrawal offers an inside look at presidential decisionmaking in this liminal period of the Vietnam War and makes clear that portrayals of Kennedy as a dove are overdrawn. His proposed withdrawal was in fact a cagey strategy for keeping the United States involved in the fight—a strategy the country adopted decades later in Afghanistan.
HaHaHa. Yes, people love extolling their heroes. You will find similar articles for almost EVERY controversial important figure.
Eg. Books have been written about Winston Churchill on both sides of the aisle. Similarly, books about Israel have been written on both sides of the aisle. If someone doesn't like a book, they simply write a criticism of it (like the one you provided) as some kind of 'debunking'. That's a kindergarten strategy. I thought you'd be wiser than that, but I guess people hate it when their 'heroes' are attacked.
You might find the following books of interest ->
“The Kennedy Withdrawal is so agenda driven, so littered with dubious assumptions, so averse to logic and common sense, that its less a book than a curiosity piece.”
The article I posted was focused on the book you are promoting. The above quote applies to the book you are promoting. What’s this Ha Ha Ha shit? Argue the merits of the criticism leveled against your so-called “evidence.” Try to read the article first. Your dismissiveness is unbecoming.
He didn't start any new wars during his first term in office, not so much because he was opposed to war, just because war didn't seem to interest this self-involved narcissist.
He wasn't when he bombed Syria nor when he was supplying killing cylinders to Ukraine and Israel i.e., he never was. MAGA is as dumb as the people they oppose.
Yes never was. A candidate cant “win” elections without the blessing of and concession to the MIC.
.....blessing and concession of Israel, the covert arm of the MIC.
"no new wars" except all the wars he continues and all the new ones he starts!
To no-one,
All American presidents are war criminals - Noam Chomsky.
Trump has blown it three ways...more bombings, refusal to condemn the mRNA poisons and enacting the "hands off" for 10 years policy for his retarded A/i initiatives. Our pal Trump same as our pal joey.
Am I truly the only cat who recalls what Musk said about Trump and the Epstein Files?
I remember and pointed out that anybody who says 'he'd hit that if she wasn't his daughter' has definitely got an ugly past buried.
"Washington’s Hubris is the Disease"
The flag is a shroud stitched with dead men's oaths,
the White House a tomb where democracy choked.
They take minutes for mourning between stock trades,
count votes like coins in a dead banker's throat.
The Supreme Court's scales are rusted shut—
justice dangles from a meat hook, gutted.
The Constitution's parchment feeds the fire
while lobbyists piss gasoline on the pyre.
Watch the Senate chamber: a dissection theater,
cadaver-laws twitch as donors breathe into them.
The President's speech is a ventilator's hiss—
flatline rhetoric in a war-lit abyss.
B-52s write prescriptions in the desert sky,
each missile a syringe for the oil-rigged vein.
Back home, the ambulances circle the capital,
but the medics are vultures, the cure is treason.
We are the necrosis. We are the infection.
The founding fathers' bones rattle with laughter
in their lead-lined graves. The American Dream?
A cadaver spasm. A death rattle. A fever scream.
The autopsy report, unsigned, reads only:
*"Cause of death: the surgeon."*
The Lincoln Memorial is a morgue slab now—
they hose the marble down at dawn,
washing away the protestor’s blood
with firehoses filled with chemotherapy.
The National Archives? A butcher’s ledger.
Every amendment a self-inflicted wound
stitched shut with barbed wire and stock tickers.
The Bill of Rights peels like dead skin
in a Pentagon incinerator.
Watch the State of the Union:
a corpse puppet with lithium eyes,
lips moving with someone else’s scream,
while beneath the podium—
a slow drip of meltwater
from the Arctic’s last gasp.
The Supreme Court’s robes are woven
from Guantanamo jumpsuits,
their gavel cracks like ice
over a detainee’s kneecap.
*"We find for the plaintiff"* translates to
*"the mass grave will not be itemized."*
The Capitol Rotunda’s frescoes peel—
angels becoming drones becoming flies.
Beneath the floorboards:
the wet click of bone saws,
the hum of servers mining grief-data,
the sobbing of statutes
burned for kindling.
And you—citizen—
your ballot is a toe tag.
Your protest a seizure.
Your hope a biohazard
in the CDC’s darkest freezer.
The only remaining monument:
a single, rusted IV pole
on the National Mall at midnight,
dripping black ink
into the Potomac’s paralyzed veins.
The autopsy was falsified.
The coroner suicided.
The disease *is* the cure.
Reject the American-Israeli (judeo-Christian) aggression against Iran!
Israel is outside the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty and is not subject to comprehensive inspections. Iran has accepted the highest number of inspections, but instead of being thanked, it is being bombed and its civilians are being targeted.
America's cowardly aggression against Iran's nuclear facilities violates all international laws and conventions."
Hell! The 1963 post Cold War deep state ameriKKKa and the 1954 AIPAC American Israel Public Affairs Committee wrote the script!
It is. Critical remember the deep state’s 1947 Truman doctrine, the 1948 Marshall plan, the 1997 PNAC project for a new american century ‘rebuilding america's defenses’, the 2001 ‘full spectrum domination doctrine’ and the 1996 ‘clean break; strategy for securing the realm’ policy documentation. Don't forget NORTHCOM command (continuity of Government group), MILNET and the GOLDEN DOME project!!
"War is essentially an evil thing. Its consequences are not confined to the belligerent states alone, but affect the whole world. To initiate a war of aggression, therefore, is not only an international crime; it is the supreme international crime differing only from other war crimes in that it contains within itself the accumulated evil of the whole." – International Military Tribunal at Nuremberg
It's not a war it was a military strike. Being "anti-war" doesn't mean you don't do what's right against evil actors. Trump has been clear when saying he will not start foreign wars or want to participate in regime change.
So, when Germany invaded Poland in 1939 it wasn't war? Okay, you've just further cemented in my mind the utter stupidity of MAGA cultists.
So I hope that you are at least enjoying your experience of being a MAGA cult member, if nothing else.
While it’s true that Trump is a dangerous warmonger it doesn’t matter who is in the presidency now - this horror was going to happen one way or another with anyone allowed near the office.
US President Bibi has been calling for this since 1996. So now we are in WW-III while opening the second front against Russia.
Thanks Obama for the war with Russia. The maidan coup was his
They all work together but every 4 years Americans pretend there’s a difference.. they pretend USA is a democracy
It isn't totally correct to blame any President alone. They are the figure head yes, but as Brian Berletic points out all the time, the US Deep State conjured up these plans long, long ago. The US "continuity of agenda" always wins no matter who is President.
And that includes Trump. He wouldn't be doing this if the "Deep State" hadn't given hime the go-ahead.
A go ahead or an order?
A thinly veiled order.
Actually it was Hilary + CIA, Obama was just a puppet. Politics in America is merely a spectator sport.
Sure..
Obama was just a poor innocent good guy…
He was neither poor not innocent. He was a pawn in their game, like all presidents of the uniparty in this 21st century. Deep State wrote the PNAC playbook and implemented it by engineering a "pearl harbor-like event".
I was being facetious.
Responding to the woman that was likely a fan of the butcher of Libya.
She said Obama was not culpable
I say Obama is a war criminal just like his predecessor and Trump
Obama was a creation of the overlords. Was not a "community organiser" in Chicaga - that was a long term move in brand positining, decided by his patrons.
Mom was likely CIA too. And grandfather. And he was in Skull & Bones at Yale.
Not electected. Selected. Politics in the US is a theatrically staged charade.
I remember, in his first presidency, Trump saying, referring to nuclear bombs, "If we have them, why don't we use them?" Direct quote; I heard it myself. He WANTS to use a nuclear bomb on someone and, since he's beholden to Israel, it will be Iran, another innocent country, but this time, it will affect all the world, the bombs now are many times what the ones used on Japan were. He may end our world.
He opens his mouth and crazy shit pours out. Whether or not he acts on these insane ideas is up for grabs. He's also likely to say one thing and backtrack on it the next day. He's unbalanced and capricious.
I didn't mean 'nuke Iran', I meant 'Knute Rockne' - a great coach.
Nobody 'works together' they are all puppets.
1984: Ma'ariv (Israeli newspaper) headline, April 25, 1984: "Iran in final stage of production of nuclear bomb".
Yes, they claim that every year.
41 years later, any year now! They have 8 nuclear facilities but any year now they'll build a nuke to retroactively justify Israel genociding everybody they see! They're all prosecuted, don't you know! Persecuted by all the victims they constantly create.
The sad part of this is that if they had built a Nuclear bomb we wouldn't have this ongoing genocide in the Middle East.
Fuck
Bibi is not the tail wagging the dog.
Caitlin is absolutely right to declare that Trump authorized this entire thing. It is a fiction to believe that Israel runs the US.
Now if you want to talk about the "Jewish Supremacists" that populate the American Government and the deep state, sure. But they don't really care about Israel. They are pushing for US Empire Which is slipping through their fingers.
"Bibi is not the tail wagging the dog."
Bibi is the dog. He struck Iran first, America followed suit.
Only zionists try to scapegoat others for the wars they provoke.
No, Bibi is just the pencil pusher. Every action he takes is pre-approved by Trump at the direction of the "Deep State".
I recommend Aaron Good's videos.
They struck Iran while Trump was deceptively going through the motions of a negotiation with them to lull them in to a false sense of security. This is only a steeping stone to Russia and China and I do not believe they will stand by much longer. The U.S. is like a mad dog and the sooner it is put down the better.
That’s what the proxy is supposed the make you believe.
Bibi on the phone every day begging Trump to save his sorry attack effort.
So? Yes he was, but so?
Completely agree with you on this JohnOnKaui. I wonder why more people don't realize this and are still misled by the 'Israel' narratives. Could it be because of 'American Exceptionalism' biases?
Because every single prostitician in the US Congress except for the Palestinian woman stood up and clapped to the rubbish and lies of netanhayu
Actually since 1984. 41 years and the propaganda paid off.
Yes that’s what I’ve been saying. Once Netanyahu started this it was most likely inevitable that we would join, regardless of who is president.
There are no presidents.
Agree completely. We have but one party in the US, and it is wholly corporate-owned and pro-war. It is totally devoted to the expansion of empire. Human life doesn't matter a bit (and is always expendable)--what matters is profits. We are ruled by sociopaths.
"it doesn’t matter who is in the presidency now"? Did it matter when there was a senile man in office, did it matter it Trumps first term, or during the 8 years of being doped and economic pain, or the 8 years prior when this centuries crusades began? The last time the US president who wanted peace, he was shot in head. Perhaps Trump is simply trying not to get shot again.
>>"The last time the US president who wanted peace, he was shot in head."
See my comment here for a mini-refutation on that -> https://www.caitlinjohnst.one/p/trump-has-bombed-iran-what-happens/comment/128360376
I did not intend to imply that Kennedy was entirely against war. To be the Emperor of an empire built on aggression requires that you be at least a bit of a warmonger. We will never know anything for sure, but it was not long after Kennedy's Peace Speech that he was assassinated. I highly recommend you read or listen to it, it is a profound speech. It’s a shame few truly understand its depth of humanity.
Jimmy Carter may have been the least aggressive [president]. Interestingly, it was another buffoon actor and warmonger, Reagan, who helped end the Cold War with the USSR. I’m not a fan of Reagan, but it was not Reagan who betrayed the world, and Russia, with belligerent NATO expansion.
The potential for peace that Ronald Reagan and Gorbachev gave us has been squandered. The arms treaties they helped forge have been abandoned. Russia is lost. The significance of the betrayal by the U.S. and Europe has yet to be understood by many, but today's young Russians will never think of themselves as Europeans, and those that did have discarded such notion
>>"...it is a profound speech..."
Sure, many speeches are profound. But I would be naive (and a fool) if I judged people based on the speeches they gave. FYI, Presidents (and higher-level politicians have speech writers as official govt. employees of the administration).
There is much more to JFK than the revisionist narratives after his death. I recommend reading REAL history about JFK (especially those written before he was extolled to no end after his assassination).
There is often a large gap between 'the image' and 'the reality' of such figures. Another example is Winston Churchill. There are actually numerous examples from history, but few people bother to actually DIG IN into the nuts-and-bolts of such histories.
Not sure why you're comparing Presidents here, as it is irrelevant to this discussion.
Yes!
Well we COUPD HAVE had Jill Stein.
Only because the American people allow it.
Trump says now there will be peace. Idiot.
"Peace". What does that word mean? !!! What a Travesty. Trump's an IDIOT!! Way to go, IDIOT!
Peace to the Western Empire means the U.S. arms industry getting its way and killing millions of innocent people. Until this irrational, dysfunctional entity is destroyed there will be no significant peace.
Peace is as real as the god he thanks.
Just one bunker buster and you end a war? Wow!
Because it possibly will end now, possibly by internal Iranian action..........I would think.
Interesting days to come.
Every leader of every country that has supported Israel by sending weapons or not sanctioning Israeli leaders is complicit in this horrible, unprovoked attack.
True, but all those leaders owe their position of power to the American Oligarchy. AIPAC finances their political campaigns as well. AIPAC is a front for "Jewish Supremacists" but it is also assisted by non-Jewish Billionaires. The US Deep State has been writing about this war for years.
Too bad they have been so easily bought off and took money and power over the safety of the planet and all that is alive on it.
Not to mention the propaganda machine.
You have correctly stated that Trump is the US empire, unmasked. What I saw tonight in his address to the nation was the US empire, unhinged. He looked demon possessed.
Trump has joined Israel as the greatest threat to human existence on planet earth. Both must be removed!
The Evil Twins. Big Satan & Little Satan.
The name fits. Let them wear it.
Exactly. It hit me so hard one day, I had to write about it. It came to me that they are two wings of the same bird.
Who's In Charge, Israel Or the USA https://topicsfromatoz.substack.com/p/whos-in-charge-israel-or-the-usa
A good analysis.
However, the USA is in charge. Specifically the "Deep State", but the definition of "Deep State" is quite convoluted. Mostly though it is the American Billionaires who continue to seek American Hegemony -- but that's too simple.
Anyway, Israel is just a proxy state exactly like Ukraine.
You can stop spamming your messages falsely claiming the US are in charge.
Facts show otherwise: 91% of Reps and 68% of Senators are *endorsed* by AIPAC. Also you seem oddly silent about the Epstein blackmail ring.
What in the world makes you think anything I said indicated Congress is in charge of anything.
AIPAC is the front for the "Jewish Supremacists" that Finkelstein talks about. Congress only gets elected if AIPAC supports them. They do what the "Deep State" tells them to do.
I recommend Aaron Good's "Empire and the Deep State" series on YouTube.
Or if that's too much work, Good's interview with Jeffrey Sachs:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXvuOG33zLs
💯
I think this thing is so nuanced. It's like we all have on masks and were are at different parts of the elephant. Optics are one thing, reality is another. I bet that even on the inside, the insiders don't know it all. And are fighting with each other.
I read that Tulsi was not even in the meetings when they were deciding about whether to bomb Iran. My mother always said, "There's no honesty among thieves." If they can throw their base under the bus, we mean nothing. Epstein might just be a red herring, there are probably even worse things these folks are doing. #PDiddy perhaps??
Hi there Nana! Long time no seeing. Hope you are well. Thanks for link.
As to your question my personal opinion is Diseaserael is in charge along with other sinister characters.
It's very, very possible. I guess we won't know for sure, definitely because so much goes on behind the scene.
BYW, I've been here the whole time, posting notes and posts every day in my newsletter.
Hope you are well too!!!
But will that be enough? I suspect the U.S. Empire needs to be destroyed (or significantly reduced in size, power, and reach).
Caitlin, all I can say is that EVERY WORD you write in this article is TRUE.
I suspect that in the coming days, weeks, and months the U.S. Empire will embark and engage in a propaganda campaign of magnitudes never seen before.
Could this possibly be the start of WW3?
It seems even Putin has thrown Iran under the bus with comments on how much/most of Israel is Russian. I despise Pakistanis, but if their government follows through and nukes Israeli targets I'd raise my glass to them.
you are wrong on both counts.
Mark Sleboda reports that Iran specifically asked Russia (and China) to not help for fear it would give Trump more of excuse to attack. What happens next, who knows.
The Pakistan threat to nuke Israel has been shown to be a hoax.
I am well aware of that and yet Putin's comment reeks of screwing his allies. And this from someone who has long viewed Putin as one of the more rational leaders on the world stage.
What does Putin stand to gain from Israel? They're already implicated in providing support for the attack on the strategic bombers. And they provided air defense missiles and other weapons to Ukraine and hosted many Russians who dislike Putin and fled to Israel including Zelensky's parents, at the start of the SMO.
There are a lot of Russians in Israel.
If Putin takes action that Iran doesn't want, how is that helpful?
Iran did not sign a mutual defense treaty with Russia (or China). It does not want one.
I do not dispute your points about Israeli involvement in the Ukraine drone attack. Those same tactics were used in Iran.
But how is Putin screwing his allies if he's doing what they ask of him?
If he didn't want to take action that Iran did not want then it would be preferable to keep his mouth shut as the comments he made signals to others like the US that he doesn't have his ally's back.
There is a difference between not providing support which wasn't sought and sticking the knife in. It gives the impression to outsiders that the Russian government is just as badly infiltrated with zionists as the American government.
Wow, such hatred for Putin for no reason at all.
What did Putin do that stuck the knife in Iran's back? Nothing important.
The Russian leadership is dithering and indecisive.
We have to keep focused on Gaza. The timing of all this was to try to deflect attention from the Palestinians and the genocide. We have to help them!
Bombing any nuclear site is a crime, a violation of international law. How many news publications even mentioned that? Radiation is dangerous to all life and may be for tens of thousands of years. These jokers are bragging about violating the law, breaking the peace, violating sovereign nations, and endangering us all.
Like Netanyahu, Trump is using American troops in the region as human shields practically daring Iran to launch missiles at U.S. Military bases and kill American soldiers.
Then, Trump would, perhaps, use a nuclear weapon to escalate the "shock and awe" aimed at all the BRICs nations who are the intended targets of this terrorist campaign.
Possibly.
Several analysts have pointed out that the Nimitz is ending its life-cycle. It will be useless in the Persian gulf. But it is being set up for a false flag as Israel sinks it -- like the USS Liberty.
The plans for this scenario were begun under the Biden regime..
And Trump joyfully executed it. The sick fuck!
Actually even before that. Berletic often refers to the 2019 RAND paper on how to use Ukraine to "extend Russia". There's also a Brookings paper that discusses the operations needed to take down Iran. In both cases, the US was to act as if it was reluctant to take on these roles.
If you need more, Brian Berletic of the New Atlas is on Substack and YouTube.
Not sure which is more despicable - the continued unprovoked attacks on other sovereign countries, or the western penchant for assuming the victim role when the us provokes a military response from (again) another sovereign country IT JUST FREAKING BOMBED.
I'm fully disgusted with this. We can kill any number of foreign civilians, but a single american soldier dies because of us actions, it's fodder for MOAR WAR!!!
All countries in the Global South should have their own nuclear weapons, so as to safeguard themselves from the Zionists and white supremacists who seem to think that only they are entitled to have them. And threaten others with annihilation.
In a saner world no one should have them. But the realty of the dystopia we live in is such this just doesn't seem possible.
Israel flouts international law and won't even disclose how many they have. Why is that possible?Follow North Korea and have your own.
Iran was foolish not to have gotten The Bomb years ago.
>>"In a saner world no one should have them. But the realty of the dystopia we live in is such this just doesn't seem possible."
Well said Indu! I completely agree with you.
Trump is merely following orders from Netanyahu, his political patron and close associate of his son-in-law’s family. His actions are also a way to justify the massive financial support he received from Miriam Adelson, the billionaire casino magnate. At the heart of it, his decisions are driven by personal gain and loyalty to powerful allies, not national interest or principle. Compounding this danger is the influence of fanatical, superstitious figures in his inner circle, such as Huckabee and Lindsey Graham, whose extreme evangelical beliefs fuel reckless policies. They are fixated on triggering apocalyptic events, viewing unwavering support for Israel as a means to hasten Armageddon and the return of the messiah. It’s deeply irrational and alarming that such delusions are shaping real-world geopolitics with far-reaching consequences.
Incisive as ever and so much for Trump's a la carte isolationism. I'm putting together my own response for substack NOW with some historical context, plus the observation that the media is no longer covering the genocide in Palestine. The fact that it is Adolf Trump in the White House is significant because Israel has always needed a war with Iran to annex the West Bank and while successive US and British administrations have picked up the bill for Israel's crimes active participation at this level wasn't on the menu - until now. There's also the issue of Trump's internal problems, overplaying his hand by sending troops into California ILLEGALLY to prop up his ICE Gestapo. He needs a war and a state of emergency but this won't be his Falklands moment - it will be his Suez.
Right, Roger. This action helps to distract from tRump's domestic 'difficulties'. We must also consider his very fragile ego. And the fact that in your guts, you know he's nuts. He really is the ultimate loose cannon. A psychiatrist's dream, the world's nightmare.
Well said Roger Cottrell!
