We're different in that way. I am in my senior years somewhere near the end of this life, and I've found that being kind and doing my best to see the goodness in people - recognizing that I can't account for their past but that they are part of the same humanity as I am - leaves an opening, however small, for us to inch towards understanding. If not today, one day. I speak of daily one on one relationships. Those in the echelons of control who are of mal-intent have their own demons and karma to face. They are trying to prop up structures which are crumbling. I'm looking towards the shoots of a new world being born and I want it to be born of kindness. Kindness doesn't obviate standing grounded and true to one's values.
