Of course the killing in Gaza continues. AND, the killing in the West Bank has intensified. I fear that much worse is yet to come...

THIS "ethnic cleansing and genocide" perpetrated by Israel and the US is far from over. We need to continue to FIGHT, boycott, resist... (we may be in the next phase of this global problem) and need to regroup and continue supporting those in need.

It would help if we dissolved the United States into smaller countries.

IDK, I'll leave that kind of thinking (and decision making) to more intelligent people...(though inteliigence may not be the most important factor here - morality, compassion, etc. may be equally important)

BUT, I DO like your idea though...

Thank you. Anything to reduce Washington DC/Pentagon's ability steal money from its citizens and fund their wars and warlords for profit, which has been going on my entire almost 48 years on Earth, probably longer.

I don't see the country uniting any time soon.

Free Palestine!

Hi Eddie

I have long shared your opinion. This awful regime is too uneven to be ruled as one entity.

Why should we in Michigan, for example, have to put up with the insane diatribes of the likes of Lindsay Graham? Let the “Deep South States of Amerikkka” deal with him.

California would be its own country, as would be Alaska. Probably Texas as well.

I love the idea of the Great Lakes States of Amerikkka; we’d control 1/5 of the world’s freshwater supply 😁

Then those smaller countries would go to war with one another. It would never end.

Yes, and that would keep them busy and preoccupied enough so that they would leave the rest of the world alone. Works, doesn't it?

Do you object to the self-implosion of the US from within? Is there a better way to end the US Empire?

Well covered yet again. Let’s also remember that the west backs this! The trump administration backs this and already have their eyes and bellies large enough ready to take pieces of the Gazan pie! Then there is the West Bank - Jenin, Tulkarm… where Israel has been besieging and bombing towns inside of their own country ffs! Where they’ve also sniped an 11 year old boy just yesterday! All of which are backed by the west! The ceasefire cannot be allowed to derail! If our governments aren’t trying to remotely do the right thing, we must as citizens of the world place enough pressure that they do!

Something like 33,000 people were victims of the Bosnian genocide, and remember how much was done about it, relatively speaking? A great deal. I've never been one to throw around the word "racism" (it's very real but people have been known to exploit it), but this conflict is so dripping in racism it takes my breath away. It's as if, when it comes to the Palestinians, the world's IQ drops like a stone and its humanity vanishes. It's really extraordinary. I truly cannot make sense of it except to assume that I had way, way overestimated our progress as a species.

Do you recall when Russia initiated the special ops in Ukraine? Our Amerikkkan MSM reporters were aghast. “They look so much like us! They have blond hair and blue eyes! They even have Netflix!”

Doesn’t that say all?

I guess the Palestinians don’t “look” enough like us. Well, I look like one of THEM now. I have naturally tan skin and I recently dyed my natural blonde hair dark brown. Solidarity!

What’s most galling of all is the fact that when there invariably is a response from the Palestinians (one that will be allowed to happen by Israel, if not outright orchestrated by them), then this will be used as justification for unleashing yet another genocidal wave of terror, Netanyahu all the while proclaiming, “see, we gave them a chance to be peaceful, but these animals just couldn’t help themselves…”

Needless to say, the western propaganda machine will diligently do the rest.

Yes, They are still slaughtering civilians in Gaza, and in the West Bank too. The Israeli regime and their Nazi leaders did not expect - the bombed, starved, brutalised, tortured, worldweary, exhausted, grieving - Palestinians to trek back to the wasteland of Gaza. They have lost everything but amazingly they are not demoralised.

A ceasefire that is not a ceasefire didn't daunt them. They were reclaiming their land. The Israeli regime is hell bent on preventing UNRWA from providing them with sustenance. While they start again with putting together their shattered lives. Is the world community - I am not including the West - going to stand back and do nothing? Again?

The West complicit with Israel in the crime of genocide are carrying on a campaign which can only further the war. President Trump signed a blatantly authoritarian Executive Order that promises to use the whole of government to attempt to crush the Palestinian rights movement. This executive order has nothing to do with protecting Jews. Instead, the far-Right is weaponising "Jewish safety" and antisemitism ( read anti-Israel) to advance their's and Israel's destructive, bigoted agenda. Right-wing populism has seized control of the levers of power in nation after nation. Still hopeful.... ?

On the national news two nights ago there was a Zionist spokesman who said “If Hamas remains in Gaza people will suffer.” There you have it. This is a pause only and, as Hamas will remain in Gaza, they can count on more bombs, starvation and murder. Trump pretends moving Palestinians to Egypt or Jordan is some kind of vacation opportunity (the first 100 families to sign up get a complimentary fruit basket!) that may be permanent. Why aren’t nations at the very least sanctioning them?

It is shocking to realise: it is not just Palestinans who have been abandoned by the world. It is everyone who is against the slaughter of Palestinians. Israel, with its support in the West, and the reluctance of other governments everywhere to do anything meaningful to stop the racist slaughter, has given the world its first Globally Approved Genocide.
