I often think about running away. But where to? I did run away to live in a cabin in the mountains once many years ago. It was wonderful. The US has been gunning for Venezuela for a long time, for the same reasons it attacks any country: a leader who refuses to surrender sovereignty and raw materials to US dominance, oil reserves. They've been trying for decades to do it through elections, coups or lawfare, which has worked in every Latin American country that toyed with the pink tide except Venezuela and Cuba. Cuba has been harassed and blockaded the entirety of its existence as a sovereign nation, yet has not surrendered.
