How does this mesh with Trump's preferences for governance? He doesn't value democracy at all, he prefers corporations over countries as I see it. He won't countenance a popular or popularist government that doesn't inherently bend to corporate management for profit. If he could, he'd turn the United States into one big corporation-state that he would personally OWN.
