The absolute worst argument against this strategy is that of damaging political careers. The entire idea of a lifelong career in politics is anathema to truly democratic governance, and is, moreover, predicated on celebrity and is fear based. It's the assumption that if progressives were to be voted out for bold pro-constituent action that no one else (as progressive) would be there to step up; a ridiculous proposition. Bold populist action tends to engender more of itself. So unless you're tied to the celebrity-tainted worship of AOC or any other individual, longevity of congressional residence is a truly weak position from which to argue for inaction. — as those in favor of term limits would undoubtedly tell us.

I think it was toward the end of 2019 that Deagel.com provided a forecast for 2025. Along with the forecast, they provided a prose rationale for their prediction of Western collapse including population reductions of 70% in the US, 78% in the UK and double digit declines in most other Western industrialized nations. They updated the prose on September 25, 2020. In doing so, they stated as a prediction what has already become a fact, "It is quite likely that the economic crisis due to the lockdowns will cause more deaths than the virus worldwide." They are also very critical of "The core ruling elites [that] hope to stay in power which is in effect the only thing that really worries them." It's worth the 5 minute read. I hope we can avoid their most dire prediction of a strategic nuclear war: https://www.deagel.com/forecast
