"There are no anti-war Trump supporters." There aren't any anti-war Democrat supporters either. Obviously. We have an upcoming election here in Canada and I keep hearing, even from supporters of Palestine, how important it is to vote. We are supposed to vote for candidates that oppose the genocide in Gaza. But it won't matter. They are still part of the same system.

That should be the case, everywhere. Revolution. In Australia, 5 weeks away from a "here we go again" election, where one side is the mirror image of the other, peas in a pod, so to say. My recommendation is that anyone over the age of 18 (preferably female) deserves to get the votes (not a party hack), experience not required, people who don't know or care what antisemitism is, whether the USA gets the thumbs down on having this country on hand for the next USA generated war (been on board them all since 1945), those who consider that 4500 + amputees of children and women is really enough for one ethnic cleansing exercise in Palestine and those who consider that the USA under this compromised President called Trump has nothing to offer the world but war and more war and who has sold out his 360 million people to a disgraced country called Israel and who jumps every time that same Israel needs a 2000 pound bomb to kill some more innocents in Palestine..

A bit of a mouthfull.

Clear enough, though.?

I hope so. Sorry. I did forget the $380 billion bill for submarines , delivery 2042 (if there is a world around then) designed to make American industrialists more profits and even more Australian subservience to the likes of Trump, Vance and the rest of the Israel-controlled puppets. A.k.a. the US government on a downhill slide.

I will never recover from the shock of hearing that Australia is going to waste $386 billion of hard earned taxpayer money to purchase 4 submarines that we do not need. Our politicians have shamed themselves and smeared shit on the faces of the Australian people so many times but that theft from the people is an obscenity way beyond the usual filth of our sycophantic prime ministers.

We have to work without their frameworks not within them. They use all forms of violence to prevent that, we must use it too. Utilize all three. But with cultural violence leading the way, attack the culture of Bourgeois of Ruling Classes not any other cultures. This is important.

How many people believed in Tulsi Gabbard? Once they get in, like Tulsi, they crawl to the great Whore of Babylon...the profits of Mammon from the Zionists ATM known as AIPAC.

Mike Fish's avatar

I never believed in Tulsi Gabbard.

She was a war whore before she joined trump’s stable of prostitutes.

She may have said a couple of things in her lifetime that indicate otherwise, but if you believe a word coming out of a prostitute’s mouth, you’re bound to be disappointed.

Remember all of the gushing over Gabbard and Bobby junior, not so long ago???

How’d that turn out???

Problem is people don’t like admitting that they were fooled/were fools.

Too quick to hop on the proverbial bandwagon as soon as somebody whispers sweet “nothings” is their ears.

I say Show Me, Don’t Tell Me.

Both biden and trump showed us who they are their whole miserable lives.

Yet millions, tens of millions, hundreds of millions turned out to support those irredeemable pieces of human filth.

What does that say about their lack of judgement, or their lack of decency???

There’s a large segment of the population here in the u.s.a. that is just plain beat down and pretty much hopeless.

There’s another segment that’s partying like it’s 1999.

I’m not talking democrats and/or republicans here.

Just people.

There’s the crowd that’s enthusiastic about the bomb, bomb, bombin’.

Then there’s the indifferent ones who are too busy goin’ to the “fitness center”, gittin’ their bodies bronzed and buff for all of the summer fun that awaits them, to notice a little live-streamed genocide.

Then there’s us.

We converse.

We rage.

We protest.

Some get beaten.

Some get deported.

Some get murdered.

Some light themselves on fire.

Didn’t light enough of a fire underneath us to sufficiently move us off our duffs though, did it???

That might seem pretty far removed from the subject of Tulsi Gabbard, but Bushnell performed his unselfish act of extreme protest long before the elections of 2024, yet Tulsi and her sniffers still decided to go full bore into mass murder, rape, and starvation of innocent men, women, and children.

All in the name of the Star of David, and the whorehouse called ‘Murica.

Thing is, that murderous mayhem is soon coming to a neighborhood near you.

That’s when the indifferent will realize, the party’s over.

The democrats and republicans are working overtime here in Wisconsin, to determine the outcome of a supreme court election.

What if the riff raff fooled these assholes for a change, and while the professional liars are out canvassing the public, we go burn the courthouse to the ground???

That’s a real good example of show me, don’t tell me, if ya ask me.

Maybe the men who pay for sex feel as if nobody would want to have sex with them unless they paid (and maybe that is true, who knows?) so they have to run down sex workers so they can feel better about themselves. And I don't think the word prostitute is really the problem. I didn't like Mike Fish's use of the term "war whore" to describe Tulsi Gabbard. For some reason, I find the term "whore" to be more degrading than the word "prostitute". I guess it is better to just say "sex worker".

Expand full comment
Susan T's avatar

Men who prostitute themselves are called prostitutes. The problem with how the word is used is not only that it is mostly used to talk about women, but that it is used in a way to suggest that the women (or men) who get paid for sex are somehow bad people. Odd how the people who pay for the sex (mostly men) are not denigrated in the same way.

I know that Zionism is the ideology of many donors, but I think the framing gets blurred by the likelihood that a few billionaires aren’t Zionists, but very fond of war, and its steep profits. The USG needs war, and a consensus of elites are convinced that Israel, and the Greater Israel Project, are a safe investment in war and chaos…which can yield more wars. The Zionists tend to promote Israel as the initiator of the violence and mayhem that Westerners consumes on a daily basis, but I believe that is to distance the money from the crime.

Americans need to know with no ambiguity, that it is the American ethos and American policies and American decisions that direct the killings in West Asia. Attacking Israel as the problem is as close to self-criticism as many Americans can come without willingly taking a shot on the chin.

If I was an Israeli who rejected the Zionist mission, I would argue that the perpetual war agenda is engendering a perpetual hell for the Levant, and it is all because the apartheid doctrines are an affront. to the goal of peaceful coexistence. That being the case, if enough Israelis fought for a free Israel, rejected the ultimatums from the U.S. and broke bread with their Palestinian cousins, the Zionists in Israel who are ALL Ashkenazi Jews would emigrate to cushy homes in the empire.

Joe Biden the POS who told his friends in the Senate that if Israel didn’t exist, we’d have to create it. Well if the Zionists don’t destroy Israel AND the United States, the Zionists will not have a beachhead from which to terrorize. Our monarchy is hereditary while the American presidents are carefully chosen by the puppet masters with a little bit of intrigue to lend the process a facade of legitimacy. We the people have absolutely no say in the formation and application of our foreign policies and have absolutely no control over how our military establishments are utilised for the benefit of the filthy few.

All of Trump's policies are 'isolationist policies' - he thinks that the world needs America and cannot survive without the U.S. - he's isolating the U.S. from almost every other country on the planet (I consider Israel to be a part of the U.S. at this point in time).

In a way, I hope it works out for the rest of the world - since I don't think anyone can destroy America like the way Trump can...

So do MORE than "just making money" - join and support unions, fight against the Capitalist system, work to improve the life of workers in the U.S., support socialist programs, get involved in local politics to make your voice heard, be an agent of positive change - there are LOTS of things you can do to make the U.S. (and the world) better (even from within the U.S.).

So many - in fact, most of the world - think of South America, Africa, India, Russia, many parts of China, most of Middle-East, the list is almost endless...

For example, do you know the rate of unemployment in India currently? It's 25%. In a population of 1.5 billion, that's over 350 million unemployed. Do you know the wages of the average Indian worker? Do you know the poverty rate?

Similarly, do you know that there are still over 600 million people that live in poverty in China, especially in rural areas? (Chinese prime minister: 600 million people earn less than $145 a month - https://www.wsws.org/en/articles/2020/08/19/chin-a19.html)

And don't even get me started on Africa or South America.

The people in this substack have a blind spot when it seems to come to China/Russia/Iran/etc. Just because things are bad in the U.S. doesn't mean that things are good everywhere else. One has to look at REAL DATA and statistics and then make an analaysis, rather than on pure emotions or personal experiences (i.e. anecdotal evidence).

The Colonial Zionists have lost their collective soul and have no observable intention of regaining it. The world -- esp. the Palestinians -- is the victim of this awful tragedy. [The great hymn "God of Grace and God of Glory," at Verse 3, begs "Cure thy children's warring madness; bend our will to Thy control." What I've come to notice is that you westerners don't live in reality most times. It can be cute and funny if one looked at it as entertainment and parody, but your willful ignorance on the atrocities committed by your Nation's in your names all across this planet is causing real death and suffering to untold millions and billions of people across the world and I'm fucking sick of the people at the epicenter of the root cause of all this evil just going about their merry old life like all is well

The internet has been on for decades now so it is no longer about you guys being unenlightened about these issues but that most of you are deliberately choosing to stay ignorant because of the material comforts you do not want to tamper with. The whole world is much bigger than just you guys and the rest of us are fucking sick of paying the price for your willful ignorance and cowardice while you guys act like you don't have the numbers to fuck up the few in power

Honestly, the more I learn, the more disgusted I am with most of you people and the more I lose the respect I was once had for your peoples. Man the fuck up and take care of your messy evil political class.. or are you expecting we outsiders to come do that for you?

Unfortunately in the English speaking western countries the brainwashing, dumbing down, poisoning with fluoride and destruction of critical thinking has been extremely successful. Very few people are even interested in knowing the truth about what is going on. The masses are obsessed with celebrity sport, celebrity entertainment, fashion, gadgets and gourmet food. So you are addressing the few of us who do know and do care. Can we wake up the purposely created ignorant masses? I don't think so. Only a complete financial crash, collapse of western governments and a halt to the inflow of goods created by slaves in other countries will stir the ignorant into action. While the west is rebuilding from the ruins the rest of the world will have time to recover from our abuses.

It's sickening and disgusting, and I find no joy in the impending collapse of your society. But like you said, only the financial destruction of your peoples will wake up the masses and that's a sorry fact in itself

But if that's the only way, then that's the only way and I hope it comes soon enough not in some sick enjoyment of your suffering,, but so that the rest of us living on this planet can finally breathe and build our society's without your very irritating and unwelcome interference every step of the way

Aside from a spontaneous mass awakening, accompanied by a dissolution of greed, self importance and lust for power, I think the west must hit rock bottom before the world can begin to recover from our centuries of rapacious violence. Hi dear Uaifo

And after the great “reconstruct” occurs, this country needs to be SPLIT UP. It’s too big, too diverse and too many contradicting opinions to be governed as one entity.

My idea:

The Great Lakes States(any state bordering one of the big lakes, except Noo Yawk. We’ll pawn them off on the New England States. We don’t want Noo Yawk Shitty.)

Previously mentioned New England States. Mid-Atlantic States. Deep South States (ick.)

Midwest States, Rocky Mountain States, Pacific Northwest States. I imagine California and Texas would be their own countries, as well as Alaska and Hawaii.

Then and only then will we be free to elect our own presidents and congress, who must work for substinence pay, therefore insuring that they aren’t in politics for the money.

Yeah, I know… in a perfect world 😐

Thing is, Gypsy, is that this exactly the TechBros plan. Take a look, if you haven't already, at Curtis Yarvin, the Dark Enlightment, or NeoReactionary, thinking that so impresses Peter Thiel, oner of the PayPal Mafia, along with Botha and Musk. Tearing it down for parts is exactly what they want.

Although, I do understand your position, and with good people involved to manage it, I am not sure that there are any honorable ways available at this time to get there. When it gets to the point where it can be split up, the only ones waiting are those with deeply horrendous motives. We need to be thinking about how to outflank them.

It's bad enough to be dealing with the likes of Trump, and old-fashioned fascism, but we really would benefit from realizing that the TechBros have something else entirely in mind. We all need to focus on both Trump and Musk. They may appear to be reading from the same page, for the moment, but I think they have very different outcomes in mind, none of them good for we, the peole.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

I gotta mostly agree with Joy on this one gypsy. While I understand your split, it makes sense if we limit ourselves to the political scene and that's evolution, and I doubt that's going to cut it. The big money interests are always going to be our problem; primarily tech bros, I think. I pretty much believe Yanis Varoufakis' layout of Technofeudalism in his book. It's convincing. They've got us; they're somehow making money off our serf asses as we're having these conversations!! Thank goodness Caitlin is largely user-funded, but that I think probably minimizes it not eliminates it. Sorry if I went on too long, Stream of consciousness. I'm tired.

That part about politicians working for subtinence pay is so fucking crucial and a must in any decent society that will actually work for the majority of the peoples. If not, we are doomed to any future society being infiltrated by corrupting influences no matter it's initial good intentions as the subtinence pay will of itself weed out corruptable individuals from ever thinking of holding office and only allow people of integrity who actually want to work for the people get in to those positions of power... without wealth

As for your plan of dividing America, I will once again defer to your expertise on the subject as I don't have a freaking clue what all those Northwest, east cities are 😅😅

What do you want me to do???

I’ve been residing in the shithole u.s.a. my whole miserable life.

Thought about gittin’ out after nine eleven.

But, elderly, widowed, infirm, parents, put the kibosh on that idea.

I do vandalism for Palestine.

I argue.

I sometimes scream.

I put the Gaza genocide right in people’s faces.

So much so that I’m entirely isolated.

I’ve entertained emulating Aaron Bushnell, but I ain’t got the guts to, yet.

Besides, did he move the needle, even one iota???

He did move me, but so did Rachel Corrie.

And, look at how long ago she made her stand/sacrifice.

Even my own fuckin’ kids, who were raised on resistance and Roger Waters, won’t tolerate me, because I spoil their party, by repeatedly reminding them of the mass murder in the Middle East.

And, let me tell you, when you’re old, and a little infirm, and isolated, you ain’t got the power to do much of nuthin.

So what should I, as a lifelong ‘Murican do about this country, and its dirty deeds???

Should I go out and kill someone today???

Preferably a politician.

Maybe pack up my huge Palestinian flag, and parade around downtown???

I could return to veteran’s pack, and perform another act of pro-Palestine vandalism, but none of my previous outings have changed a motherfucking thing.

I could go light myself on fire, in front of a church on Sunday morning, but I believe that I’d just be labeled as crazy, or a criminal.

So, what do you recommend that I do???

I’m usually pretty adept at arriving at solutions.

But, baby, I’m baffled.

Speaking of what you can do to change things.
