"soulless, artless, conscienceless expression of egotistic masturbation lubricated with the blood of dead children is the empire at its most honest."

I submit to your brilliance. One cannot frame the ugliness of the US/Israeli/Capitalist monstrosity any better than that.

Basically, Trump is what happens when the empire stops pretending to be anything other than an empire, when it finally drops the happy horseshit as so much extra baggage, like a lizard man shedding its proveribial skin, like a pimp who no longer is interested in sweet talk but is all business.

It’s not new. This has been used for years, but you might not be exposed to the anti-Israel population, growing at record speed after the genocide.

What can you expect from a Country that wiped out at least 15 millions of Natives !?!?!?!?

gypsy33's avatar

Thank you for pointing that out Marten!

THIS was the Mother of All Genocides, along with the tens of millions of Africans kidnapped and sold into the slavery.

We have genocide in our blood.

Duane McPherson's avatar

That was a different time. If you had been around then, you would probably have supported the mainstream view. Stop pretending to be superior.

You are the one pretending to be superior, a genocide in a different time, is still a Genocide !!!!!!

Siham Karami's avatar

True, nailed it, it’s absolutely its most honest. But also Trump et al are literally destroying everything at warp speed, the good, the bad, and the ugly. USAID was a wasp nest of dirty CIA dealings under cover of “humanitarianism.” They’re also getting rid of the whole veneer of statecraft and morality which was nothing but a veneer. The question is will Americans give a damn? Will they feel anything? Will they take action at all, now that they can see our tax money goes to Israel more than it goes to Americans? Now that they see the rich get richer and the middle class goes into poverty row? Will they realize Black Rock owns everything and we are just pawns to them with no value?? Will they realize Palestinians are us, that what they do to Palestine is what they’ll do to us, make us fodder to feed the “machine” and killing compassion, mowing down “voters” like they do Palestinians? Because the US is Israel, whatever Israel wants, they will do. Nobody can stop them but the American people and even then, only if the right and left join forces. And good luck with that. (But it CAN work, just needs ppl to realize they’ve been brainwashed to hate one another for no good reason.)

Duane McPherson's avatar

'Genocide' is a term invented after WWII. You are displaying your ignorance.

JennyStokes's avatar

Doesn't matter when the word was invented!

Gnuneo's avatar

The word did not come before the thing itself. You have a legalistic mindset, not a realist.

An act happened. We now call that act "Genocide". It was still a genocide BEFORE the word was invented to describe it. Pretty obvious stuff to anyone interested in human suffering.

You are displaying something ugly, if not your own ignorance (Ironically).

And FWIW, PLENTY of people were appalled at all the atrocities back then. They were airbrushed from the lamestream narrative.

Just as you will struggle to find out that ~60% of the general western population had sympathy for the SMO when it started, understanding it WAS provoked.

And people found slavery obnoxious all the way through too.

There are always SOME moral people, no matter the depravity of the general society and "elites".

Duane McPherson's avatar

That's easy to say from where we are now. Try putting yourself into that time.

Gnuneo's avatar

They have only to see how they are responding to THIS time. Consider that the hypnotic mass media had not been invented back then. Unusual groups tried to help the Irish in the British-created famine. Incl American Indians on reservations.

Real history is a lot more interesting and messy than children's school history books present it as.

Slightly Lucid's avatar

I don’t need to put myself back in a time of genocide, endless war, racism and violence. We are there now, and how we are responding now is likely how we would have responded then.

The vast majority of the Amerindian deaths were from infectious diseases that were transmitted by natural, as opposed to intentional, means from the white colonizers.

See the graph that summarizes the 90% population decline in central Mexico. The link is

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Native_American_disease_and_epidemics

You implied far more intentionality than can be documented. Misleading rhetoric is not a smart tactic.

gypsy33's avatar

Native Americans were DELIBERATELY infected with diseases like smallpox by white European settlers. Don’t give us your bullshit.

Jim Jackson's avatar

AI Overview

There is one documented instance of colonists intentionally spreading smallpox to Native Americans during the French and Indian War, and there are other accounts of intentional spread.

Documented instance

In the early 1760s, Sir Jeffery Amherst, the British commander in North America, discussed using smallpox against Native Americans with Col. Henry Bouquet.

Other accounts

In 1763, a fur trader wrote in his journal that he gave blankets and a handkerchief to the Delaware tribe.

In the 1830s, a reformer wrote that white men spread smallpox to remote tribes with tobacco or infected clothing.

Impact of smallpox

Smallpox was a devastating disease that killed millions of Native Americans. It caused blindness, disfiguring scars, and death. The disease tore through the continent, killing an estimated 90% of Native Americans.

Genetic susceptibility

Native Americans were also genetically susceptible to smallpox. Mutations in the human leucocyte antigen (HLA) gene HLA-DQA1 had been beneficial to them, but

likely became harmful in the presence of smallpox.

Another source:

https://www.history.com/news/colonists-native-americans-smallpox-blankets

Reduction of the Amerindian population was mainly a side effect of the appropriation of the land from which they obtained food.

Vin LoPresti's avatar

"Genetic susceptibility

Pardon me, but do you know what you're saying here. It is simply this. The background bacterial floral populations in which the Native populations evolved selected for the presence of HLA-DQA1 as a beneficial asset to their T cell immune recognition of pathogens in their environment. That it was not an asset in the presence of the European bacteria is NOT A DEFICIENCY but rather a simple fact of the way evolution happens!

Most obvious is his daughter's marriage to kushner and conversion to judaism. That makes trump, biden, and clinton all having jewish grandchildren.

Unfortunately we all will have to pay a price of all the accumulated sins done in our name. Trump is hardly the beginning of it, I'm sure.

Have we paid the price for the native American genocide, of the horrors of slavery, of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, of Vietnam, of Iraq, of bloody military coups in countless countries?

If you believe in a just God or Karma, that's some scary bill when it becomes due to pay in full.

dale ruff's avatar

Trump represents the worst of America.....those who represent the best, who have called him a fascist and called the operation in Gaza "genocide" and who have worked to pass a bill to stop US from shipping weapons to Israel, are often, on these pages, denounced as evil. With this kind of thinking, we may as well give up. We must support the best in America if we want to stop the worst from running the show.

Eddie's avatar

We had the opportunity to course correct by electing Jill Stein for President.

The Revolution Continues's avatar

Yes, we did. Think of what a better world we'd have if so many hadn't been convinced that voting third party is "throwing your vote away" or that Trump was "the lesser evil." You can't have "less" of evil. It's not quantifiable. There's just evil and it went by the name of Biden and Trump.

smokygirl2006's avatar

And Harris.🤔☹️😞

Eddie's avatar

Everyone who voted for Biden/Harris or Trump in 2024 should have just been honest and said they like and support the status quo, especially the liberals who are now "protesting" because a Republican is getting the glory of war crimes instead of their Democrat.

dale ruff's avatar

You can have less of evil and if given only the choice of less or more, you do not choose less, you are choosing more. If you have only two choices that are possible to win, claiming both are evil and so I will not choose between them allows the greater evil to prevail. Voting for the lesser evil is not embracing evil but preventing more evil. If you fall and have a quick choice to stick out your hand and break it or let your skull crash into the concrete, choosing to put out hand is done not for love of breaking your hand but preferring not to crack your skull. I know many disagree with this logic, but it is irrefutable. And there are levels of evil: shoving someone is an act of violence and so evil; killing someone is also and act of violence and so evil. There are not the same. There are degrees of evil or harm and in some cases, which we call moral dilemmas, we must choose the least harmful choice to avoid the more harmful. A dilemma is an undesirable choice, and life is full of them. The moral act is to do the least harm to prevent the greater.

CrumpledForeskin's avatar

Lol, what a ridiculous stance. Where is your morality? Oh wait, you don’t really have any. Voting for a war criminal, after saying all your bullshit about war crimes. Voting for the very people that funded the Gaza genocide. The most illogical, contradictory statements, one can make. Quit being a fucking hypocrite!

Eddie's avatar

"You can have less of evil and if given only the choice of less or more, you do not choose less, you are choosing more."

That wasn't the case, not in 2016, not in 2020, not in 2024, and I'm pretty sure it won't be case in 2028. We didn't only lesser evil or greater evil, we had several choices that were good (Stein, La Riva).

I'm sick and damn tired of being told we have to settle for ANY evil when we know we can and should do better. What's the point in voting if all we ever do is throw away our votes on the supposed "lesser evil", especially when said "lesser evil" is always in cahoots with "greater evil". If you are happy with the status quo, and be honest and say so.

"The moral act is to do the least harm to prevent the greater."

What happened to DO NO HARM and go for the greater good?

Please spare us all of the entire "lesser evil" fallacy.

JennyStokes's avatar

........and Ralph Nader. Bernie Sanders at the beginning.

CrumpledForeskin's avatar

Who is that to you? Don’t tell be it’s Bernie Sanders, because he’s all in, on the proxy war in Ukraine.

dale ruff's avatar

Sanders got 18 Democrats to support his bill (that is 35%) to stop sending arms to Israel. I am sad to see you oppose his bill. As for Ukraine, he tried to prevent the war, provoked by NATO, the West, and Zelensky, before it began. In April, he voted with other Democrats against the bill to fund Ukraine and Israel." When you condemn the people actually working to end the bloodshed, you become complicit in it.

dale ruff's avatar

Who, in your opinion , is "right" about the Russia/Ukraine War......? My position is that Nato/West/Zelenksy provoked Russia, and Russia reacted with war crimes. I find no one to support in that war. But as for Gaza, if you want to stop those working to end arms to Israel, you are doing a good job. AIPAC would agree with you!

smokygirl2006's avatar

“and Russia reacted with war crimes”. You sound like one of my siblings who believes Putin just woke up one day & decided to invade Ukraine. Never mind that the West/Nato/USA pushed nato weapons on Russia’s back door step, never mind that the USA with Obama’s CIA intervened in Ukraine’s affairs by instigating a coup in 2014(Maidan Coup), never mind that the extreme right forces of western Ukraine were shelling the Donbas region from 2014 onward and Russia came in originally to help the ethnic Russians of what was then eastern Ukraine who were having war crimes committed against them simply b/c they wanted to speak in their native tongue(Russian) and didn’t accept the overthrow of the democratically elected president in 2014. The Azov Battalion and right sector militias were the ones committing the war crimes, not the Russians. There is documented evidence that the western Ukrainian military were complicit in war crimes against Donetsk & Lugansk in the Donbas during the years after the Maidan Coup. There is a memorial set up in one of these areas dedicated to 14,000 children murdered by UAF bombs supplied by the US/other western countries and these neo Nazi nationalists burned alive 100’s of innocent people in the trade union building in, I believe, Odessa. The only reason Russia invaded in 2022 was b/c they wanted the US(at that time, President Biden & his administration) to guarantee Russia’s security concerns and for Ukraine to stop shelling the civilians in the Donbas. Ukraine was murdering their own people in the Donbas. The invasion itself was against international law, but really, come on, how many times has the USA and its favorite ethnostate, Israhell broken international law?!🤔🤣😂

dale ruff's avatar

You accuse me of ignoring history in order to refute me with " Never mind that the West/Nato/USA pushed nato weapons on Russia’s back door step," which was exactly my point when I wrote " My position is that Nato/West/Zelenksy provoked Russia, " and this included 11 violations of the pledge not to move Nato to the east and the threat of natotizatoin of Ukraine, obvious red flags that for Russia amounted to an existential threat Please stop making smears and lies.

dale ruff's avatar

I have written to support the Palestinian cause for decades and instead of attacking those seeking to end the genocide by blocking sale of US arms to Israel, I have supported their efforts to end the genocide. Attack those working to end the arms shipments is a direct attack on Palestinian survival and worthy of AIPAC support. The attack on Sanders an others seeking to end the genocide is from the Israeli lobby which you appear to represent: “With Trump and Netanyahu openly talking about forcibly displacing millions of Palestinians from Gaza — in other words, ethnic cleansing — it would be unconscionable to provide more of the bombs and weapons Israel has used to kill so many civilians and make life unlivable in Gaza,” he said in a release." Attacking those seeking to disarm Israel is complicity in genocide.

Sanders introduced four resolutions on February 20 identifying the weapon sales he wants to block. They cover $6.8 billion in sales for 2,166 small-diameter bombs and 2,800 500-pound bombs, along with guidance kits; $688 million for 615 more small-diameter bombs and more than 15,000 guidance kits; $660 million for Hellfire air-to-ground missiles; and $313 million for 10,000 155mm high explosive artillery shells."

You are showing that you are a fascist. I have written to promote liberation for the Palestinians for decades. Trying to silence a pro-Palestinian activist with verbal aggression and bullying...shame on you. Every day we see more and more that Trump views the world as real estate. International relations are seen by him as transactions rather than diplomatic issues that would best consider the needs of all parties in order to reach a satisfactory result. There are no long-term relationship considerations that stand in the way of pounding out a deal he wants.

I reject the idea that he is a heartless man but his thinking concerning Israel is so much a part of who he is that it is inconceivable that it will be altered. I see it as his fatal flaw and it will be the undoing of his presidency and possibly the fall of America. If Israel attacks Iran I have no doubt America will support Israel. America considers Iran to be weak in the same mistaken way it underestimated Russia.

America cannot continue to worship a genocidal state of Israel and run to do its bidding without consequences. What cannot stand will not stand.

In the meantime pray for the victims of Israel and work for peace.
