If you have children, you will understand what I am about to say.
The atrocities committed by world leaders up until today, have worsened over time because they were never really held accountable. Even the Nuremberg trials didn't really do much to stop it. Project Paperclip comes to mind. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Paperclip
The UN, ICJ and ICC are all toothless tigers filled with complicit nations who point fingers at each other but hardly if ever admit or are accountable for their own countries atrocities, war crimes or inhumanity.
If a parent does not discipline the child, it sets a precedent for the children who follow. It tells them that their behavior can be ignored. In some instances the parent may even defend the child, which tells the child their behavior is forgivable.
Behind the wall of all this tyranny is the fact that these folks have common interests and common goals, which is dominion by any means necessary. Tribal wars have grown to world wars where countries fight against each other to gain dominion over the other.
We can torture and maim the leaders who orchestrate these atrocities against their fellow human, but until we get to the root cause of what is inherently imbibed in the human consciousness as to why humans have the propensity towards dominion over other humans, this will continue. The faces of the orchestrators may change but the psychopathic behavior remains. Keep in mind, that one human being does not single handedly kill thousands or millions of other human beings. It's the order-followers who actually do the dirty work.
I always say, if the order-followers would refuse the orders, all wars would stop.
So folks need to stop voting for these sociopaths. Honestly, only a sociopath would want to control a bunch of people's lives. Look how they sit in Congress, all pumped up cause they got power to determine people's lives.
They should, but humans are herd animals. I'd say that they are not very smart, but that is not the real problem here. In fact, for most people most of the time, the fastest and surest way to wind up dead or seriously disadvantaged has been at the hands of other humans. At the same time, "our group", whether by faith, family, tribe, regiment, whatever, are the people we can trust to have our back.
Therefore, whatever else happens, whatever humans have to do, believe absurdities, blindly follow barking insane leaders, parrot obvious lies to their detriment, do or suffer terrible things, but please whatever you do, please don't kick us out of the group!
What this also means is that when humans are presented with incontrovertible proof that the group narrative is wrong or that the group leaders are mad or charlatans or worse, rather than change leaders or change beliefs or change groups, most people, most of the time will instead double down. Witness the behavior of cultists.
The process is called "cognitive dissonance" and it is abundantly documented (I believe that Fraz Fanon may have invented the term). As alluded to earlier, there are entire religions organized around the principle.
Cognitive dissonance is not limited to stupid people. In fact, the intelligent are at least as prone, perhaps because they are better at rationalizing. In fact, much so-called "knowledge work" is basically learning symbol manipulation in order to rationalize something.
The singular one that gets me is that he authorized a drone killing of a 15 year old boy from Denver entirely on the basis of having already summarily killed his American citizen father, to send a message.
Awlaki Sr himself was killed far away from any battlefield for being affiliated with, but not an active combatant in, the same terrorist group that the Obama administration ended up arming and supporting in Syria and Libya.
This happened as the grandfather had already sued the Administration to prevent the the illegal assassination of an American citizen. Obama went ahead and did it, and then killed the boy for good measure.
Why does everyone forget Obama's biggest scandal: protecting the bankers and allowing them to foreclose on 18 million American families by using fraudulent paperwork?
It boggles the mind that everyone forgets the reason Obama lost the Presidency for the Democrats. SMDH
Yep, it's kinda hard to drone strike without hitting others in the immediate area not to mention the damage to infrastructure and whatever else is around. Obama started that drone madness, now they have AI to target individuals. It still causes a lot of collateral damage. New age warfare is very scary. I think Gaza is the testing ground and shows just how indiscriminate it can be.
When Obama first got elected I read about his life and saw that he came from a lot of money. When I said I didn't think he would be much different than Bush, I was called a racist. Lots of people thought Obama would be great because he was black. As far as I am concerned that is another side of racism. Obama went on to show us that black men are very similar to white men, especially when they have money. Maybe white people keep saying how wonderful Obama was because they think that means they are not racist.
Yes! Had same experience with friends. It was weird. The big deal was a black president! I recognized the historical signifance. But it didn't work that way for me...seems to me that equality means that a black leader can be just as shitty as a white leader...a woman can be just as shitty a leader as a black woman...and so on...
Obama was a junior Senator in a pool of talents and experiences of 120 Senators, 50 governors? The likelihood that such a guy wins against a veteran senior senators like Dole or Romney is impossible. However, our democracy include vote buying, and machine rigging.
He had a speech leaked he gave from the Brookings Institute as he was running during the primary, that basically took the entire mask off as to what interests he really represented, but it only got limited air time in alternative media, and everyone - including myself- was so hungry for justice against the Bush White House that it was easy to overlook.
You may be a bit befuddled with age, but being there makes a big difference when the propaganda is so pervasive. He was half African, that is his father was from Kenya and even some folks wondered about that.
Also, he never really was entrenched in the "Black Experience" here in the USA. He only related because he had brown skin. He was propped up as a "Savior" and Peace Maker, ironically got the Nobel Peace price and then went on to make more war. Wrap your brain around that.
There were two problems going on as it relates to "what he appeared to be."
1. African Americans could finally feel they had a representative for them. Which sadly he did greatly disappoint. Believe it or not, as an African American, I could barely speak above a whisper when it came to BHO. I was called a race hater!
2. White folks could use their vote to show they were not racist. LOL. And I believe that many of them "thought" he would end the wars. Fat chance!
Quiet as it's kept, there were not enough Black votes to get him in the white house. He depended on rich white folks because that is how the system is set up. You can't run for president if you don't have the backing of corporations, banks and rich white people. Thus only those folks who sing to the tune of these backers will get into the White House.
Back in the day, when DemocracyNow was really independent, their reporting exposed Obama's backers.
Basically, Obama was a band-aid on cancer. He didn't fix anything but was put in place as a smokescreen to keep the agenda going. He spearheaded a lot of what is happening now.
K'Mala 1.0. All "Identity" politics, but your income doesn't count as part of an authentic Identity OF COURSE.
Garland Nixon has eviscerated that entire line of fraudulent thinking over the past few months.
As though rich White people wouldn't happily work poor White people to death too, rich Black folk wouldn't also happily have slaves, and rich Women would be horrified that a single woman alive was living in poverty.
I mean, seriously?
I don't need to tell you at all that it was just a scam, and an obvious one at that. And with K'Mala it went up another key too - that vacuous airhead was ALSO a woman too! Wow, it was like Obomber and Killary combined! You'd both have to be a racist AND a misogynist not to vote for her!! :o
Fortunately, the voters saw through it, or enough of them did. I wouldn't trust my own demographic as far as I could throw them. Choose GOOD PEOPLE, not sociopaths with incidental similarities. Not that in any way I think that Trump and his backers are good people. They are not. But they are also more realistic than the demonrats, less warmongering, less willing to sacrifice all of us to nuclear fire for their Imperial hegemony.
Trump even thinks allowing genocides makes him look bad! Compared to the last four years - although it's too early days yet to be comfortable - this has potential.
I'd have preferred Stein myself, but the System is the System, and in the Greatest Democracy on Earth, you cannot choose clean healthy water, only corporate poisons Coke or Pepsi.
Too funny.... I hear the underlining meaning and it's so true.
"I'd have preferred Stein myself, but the System is the System, and in the Greatest Democracy on Earth, you cannot choose clean healthy water, only corporate poisons Coke or Pepsi."
Exactly. He did have an extra hard su.ply because he was black. Of course I never stood for that. He ran on a false hope. Got a good of a new generation caught up in then by, his second from the start of totally dashed them. I from the start knew was more the same That no matter of a victory was proclaimed cause he was the first black pres, still I know a hollow victory.First of all ,he indirectly very proved how racist this still was .That while many celebrated his election as a black victory, even stretching to prove racism was soundly dead. Actual reality proved neither was true. Also he change a damned thing He may well as have been a conservative old with man. His centrist / right of policies that no different then a centerist/ right of center " moderate republican white old man would have been. No, he definitely didn't disappoint me,I got what my rational self expected going in, no more no less. No surprises were had by me.
I understand why you would think that matters to the specifics of the post you replied to, but Obama was the President, elected on hope and change, and he did nothing for black people or killing by police.
In fact, if you think back you might remember one of his first actions as president in regards to race relations, was having a 'beer summit' with a black man roughed up in his own house for the crime of being there, and the racist police officer who did it.
Obama at best offered mealy-mouthed words, but neither him nor his justice department cared beyond the PR.
Both of his terms were fife war and it's related crimes. Also he and his partner in crime ,Biden's immigration, expecaily at the detion centers Biden pushed to privatized for scandal riden throughout both terms. So much that there were a Congressional Investigative comittes held over them. They came complete with recommendations that were routinely ignored.
While it pales beside the atrocities he inflicted on faraway countries, Obama's hope-and-change promise was an epic bait-and-switch domestically as well. Americans got the Romney-esque, porous and expensive ACA instead of free Medicare for All; a refusal to punish banks in any way for hawking "liar loans" and other sleazy underwriting practices that inflated the housing bubble; and, finally, a deliberately confusing and ineffectual homeowners-assistance program that allowed the bailed-out banks to foreclose of 9 million homeowners - many of whose former homes were then snapped up by private-equity predators.
I had been out of work due to a health problem but had some savings. I tried to find work but wasn't successful because there were few jobs in 2006. Subsequently, my savings were almost depleted in 2007. I couldn't reach my bank lender for a year to try and refinance my loan, and when I did speak with them I was told I would have to foreclose. I also couldn't find a buyer since the market was saturated with similar homes. I still get upset over this even today.
Yeah, Obama is when the cracks in the illusion really spider webbed for me. 2016 primary caved the whole thing in. If I’m being honest, I’m still reeling at how id been living in such a world of confusion, conflicting feelings, cognitive dissonance. Still very upset about it all, if I’m being honest. But who am I but another slave to the rulers, amirite? What do my thoughts or feelings or even my fucking existence matter to these evil, ignorant fucks? There’s nothing legitimate about any of it, nothing of substance beyond the relationships I try to cultivate, but even then, how much of that is based on illusion? If there is a hell, we’re already in it.
I feel ya! We are both in the same boat. All we can do is carry on and be thankful that we now have discernment and try to help others open their eyes!
Well yes. Definitely more we can do. I meant we can’t change the past. Just move forward, be grateful we now have discernment and try to help others to open their eyes also. I’m definitely doing more than that!
He ran on change from the post 11-9 consensus from Washington. He solidified the consensus from the moment he got elected. The Patriot Act never changed, the war on terror narrative only got worse, mass surveillance got worse, domestic propaganda through ndaa's and color revolutions attempts continued with Iran, Syria, Lebanon, Libya, Egypt, and neocons were hired rather than dismissed ex. Nuland who was involved in Ukraine coup. He made it so only a weak part of the democratic party could oppose the 11-9 greater israel project consensus. This is not to mention the neo-Mccarthyism which blames Russia for anything that goes wrong in America.
One of the biggest scandals, if not the biggest, is how Obama destroyed America with his bailouts of the banks and allowing them to ruin 5,000,000 FAMILIES when he allowed the banks to take their homes. The banking sector having so much power today is another result of his presidency, but most dems think he 'saved' the financial system that ruined so many lives from 2008 onward.
Then he sold everyone out on obamacare, which would have been called what it was if a Republican had been president: a bailout for the insurance companies. But people just remember him having to deal with 'birth certificate' racism so he gets about the biggest pass you can get without the ADL or AIPAC giving you cover.
In many ways his terrible presidency led directly to Trump and his first term, but democrats and coastal liberals won't hear any of that.
Also does no one remember deepwater horizon, his treatments of journalism during the worst environmental disaster in the Gulf's history, or how he used corexit [sic] to worsen the damage?
When I saw that Rahm Emanuel was Obama’s chief of staff, I knew we had been had! And we were as well as the World. No respect due Obama or the Democrat Party.
If I remember correctly, the first assembly that Obama attended was to address the Aipac lobby a few days after his inauguration. ???????? Says it all!.
Geithner. Wikileaks revealed that Obama was given a list by his biggest donors (JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup) of the cabinet members they wished to have installed. Every single "suggestion" on that list was nominated by him.
Same here, the better try to get me to along that thinking. Didn't then, won't now, am in your camp instead, definitely not the democrats then, nor the revisionits dems now. nor the Republicans .
He murdered an American citizen. No trial, no jury, no appeal. Then, two weeks later, he killed the dude's sixteen-year-old son, along with a friend who just happened to be there.
Obama, a constitutional scholar took away all of Edward Snowdens rights for reporting unconstitutional surveillance of the American public including his citizenship. "A hacker" when it was the government who was hacking the public.
He failed to remove and repeal the Patriot Act, the most unconstitutional act the country has ever seen.
He allowed the torture and illegal imprisonment to continue until it became to apparent but never really abolished it.
If these aren't scandals what is the new definition of scandal?
The scandal he perpetrated was on the entire country and all it's citizens, knowingly and wittingly.
24/7 propaganda for your entire life is a massive obstacle to overcome. Fortunately for me I had some unbelievable relatives that left Russia from 1905 until 1922 and were fortunate enough to live extremely long lives ( into their 90's ). Due to some rough times as a child I spent a lot of time with them. I am forever grateful that they taught me how to think outside of the bullshit we were bombarded with in school. Unfortunately most people never had the privilege of being around these world wise elders who from experience saw through all of it.
Did your relatives ever speak of the Bolshevik Revolution? I’m interested in the connection between the Bolsheviks, Rothschilds and current day Zionism.
According to them both sides were equally ruthless. Depending on who occupied the villages you were either Red or White but you had to be very reserved. When the opposing faction took over a village anyone who was perceived as being too supportive of the previous occupiers was shot out of hand. My grandparents and great uncle were the lucky ones. They left at the first opportunity. My great uncle left in 1905 on his own at 9 years old. He stowed away on a ship in Odessa and ended up in Canada. His story is one of tremendous courage as well as a tremendous amount of luck. By a streak of fortune he was reunited with my grandmother in the 50's. Until that time they all assumed the others were all dead. His tory makes me realize how weak and pathetic we are now.
The left/right paradigm is an illusion of choice; both sides of the aisle corrupt, two wings of the same bird beholden to the globalists aka Zionists dba UN/WHO/WEF.
I still despise the left and their inane thought processes and arguments.
if you're in the western imperial core, you have no 'both sides of the aisle'. the (us-)empire virtually has no 'left'. what you want to believe is down that rabbit hole though.
"Until you realize how easy it is for your mind to be manipulated, you will remain a pawn in someone else's game." -Evita Ochel
The media - both news and entertainment - have now politicized nearly everything in our society as an extremely powerful mechanism of control.
Most people will not act to secure their future, so long as they feel they have an advocate fighting for them in the public or political arenas. This is why Republican vs Democrat equals divide and conquer (we fight amongst ourselves while they decimate our support systems and establish totalitarian control). The human mind is binary. Our thought process can often be boiled down into terms (often ultimatums) of – this or that – and our adversaries understand - very well - the art of this war.
(Instead of you taking control of the system or working to prepare for the worst (growing a garden, digging a well, strengthening your community, gathering supplies, and becoming resilient) you hold out hope for a politician to sweep in and solve your problems for you. There is only one place this lack of action can take us. Power corrupts and Washington DC is as corrupt as they come.)
They know that politicization (pitting us at each other throats regardless of relationship status - neighbor, co-worker, friend, family) is so effective at manipulating us because most emotionally connect their personal belief system to the belief system of their political party, and so then any attack on their party – legitimate or otherwise – is interpreted by their brain as an attack on themselves. Reason and logic then jump out the nearest window as raw emotion takes the helm, thus making them even more susceptible to the predatory controlling influences.
These are extremely damaging and misfortunate exploits of human nature. Worse, these exploits are as easy to activate as flipping a light switch for the majority of the population - and they are currently being employed to their maximum effect.
The largest PSYOP in history is unfolding right before our eyes, armed with incalculable amounts of human behavior data harvested from internet and smart phone usage geared toward manipulating us to walk in lock-step into the incinerator of our own destruction.
We're dealing with a captured media and the transparently obvious military grade psychological operations they are relentlessly employing, the millions of sheep that believe their every obvious lie and preach it as gospel, and their near total obliviousness to the self-evident fact that this plandemic is a blatant takeover of the world.
"A mental conflict occurs when beliefs are contradicted by new information. This conflict activates areas of the brain involved in personal identity and emotional response to threats. The brain's alarms go off when a person feels threatened on a deeply personal and emotional level, causing htem to shut down and disregard any rational evidence that contradicts what they previously regarded as "truth".
Thanks for finally speaking fire about the liberal side. BOTH sides are to blame. But your cohort can't see reality that they make. Only their opponents. Fact is, both are evil. When everyone stops putting on the rose glasses for 'their' side, things will get more honest.
"We won’t be free until our minds are free. We can’t have a healthy world as long as we are thinking in the ways the powerful have trained us to think".
Yes! Caitlin, We have to get rid of our colonised minds.
It is said that the hardest task in life is to rid ourselves of the stuff others have swallowed
during their tenure on Earth and trying to instill their beliefs in their children. To disobey or dispute parental directives is a monumental achievement.
Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” and “..in word and deed - for the vision of a world free from nuclear weapons”, all of which is absolutely ludicrous when his many war crimes are considered.
Worse then that.Him and Biden rebuild and increased the failing stocking Replacing a lot of it with mini nukes.More powerful then ones dropped on in Ww2. Still in mini ones in comprasion. This was joyfully done on the presume of " Who in the right mind would drop another " big one" so they deterant potential what so ever. Now this mininukes ,we can easily lobb those at what ever country were currently upset with. So they have a huge deterent potential. At least that was their think as they rebuilt nuclear arensonal towards the end of their last term
Obama, like Bush, Clinton, Trump and Biden, is a war criminal who deserves the fate of the guilty at Nuremberg.
Should Nuremberg become active again, Feral, please reserve my spot as the official switch puller for Biden.
There will be no air fare cost to Nuremberg and no fee for service.
So many Germans died in that place for crimes that paled when compared to Biden and the USA.
I'd prefer the Italian partisan Mussolini solution: hung upside down in Times Square with cheap tickets sold on a first-come basis.
As would i.

I hear you. Have you read Larken Rose's Book "The Most Dangerous Superstition"? https://archive.org/details/larken-rose-the-most-dangerous-superstition-iron-web-publications-2011
I have not.
Fauci is akin to Mengele and deserves the same fate.

Interesting comment, I always said that Obama was more of a Republican than a democrat. Funny you saw that too.
No put it backwards, al though in this case , did so pretty in my eyes, .
Haha...share the old age befuddlement!
Most don't remember that Obama presided over the need to create BLM and all of the unrest between minorities and police.
I have this suspicion that it was the thousands of Black killings by police every year that may have sparked much of that unrest. Call it a hunch.

Exactly. Thank you.
Thought same thing....hell on earth...I think back to my transgressions....there are/were many....but can't think if one bad enough to land here...! 😛
Just attempting to make the world a better place is an affront to these vampires. Blaming yourself for being here is their programming.
I feel ya! We are both in the same boat. All we can do is carry on and be thankful that we now have discernment and try to help others open their eyes!
I’m not convinced that’s all we can do. But that’s certainly a start.
No, because 'red party bad.'
Federal Romneycare.
There are reasons much of the big corporate money went behind him, and it isn't because Corporate America suddenly had an attack of social conscience.
I did not vote for Obama, but I knew that we'd be seeing Bush 3.0 when he nominated Gaither as Treasury Secretary.
Geithner. Wikileaks revealed that Obama was given a list by his biggest donors (JP Morgan, Goldman Sachs, Citigroup) of the cabinet members they wished to have installed. Every single "suggestion" on that list was nominated by him.
Sure, Obama was a corporate imperialist muppet, but his polish, poise and urbanity sure made the muppetry go down smooth.
Same here, the better try to get me to along that thinking. Didn't then, won't now, am in your camp instead, definitely not the democrats then, nor the revisionits dems now. nor the Republicans .
Same here Patricia!
Not to mention the powerful position he gave Hitlery….
He murdered an American citizen. No trial, no jury, no appeal. Then, two weeks later, he killed the dude's sixteen-year-old son, along with a friend who just happened to be there.
Such humanitarian. So brave. Wow.
No scandals?
His tory makes me realize how weak and pathetic we are now.
i recommend an extreme rightwing rabbit hole. they've got that narrative with lots of juicy details and suggestive dot-connecting.
Right on Caitlin!

Barack Hussein Obama was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2009 “for his extraordinary efforts to strengthen international diplomacy and cooperation between peoples” and “..in word and deed - for the vision of a world free from nuclear weapons”, all of which is absolutely ludicrous when his many war crimes are considered.
nobel prizes are a private capital idea. it originated as a pure pr-'philantrophy' thing and probably didn't really change since then.
Either way it’s obtuse that Obama was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize.
i pretty much experienced it as insult, really. to him, to me and the world.
Can you elaborate pls? Is this agreement that Obama should not have received a Nobel Peace Prize?
it is. if he was who he pretended to be, he should have refused it.
At least that was their think as they rebuilt nuclear arensonal towards the end of their last term
.
Even before the targets in Yemen had been "legally" designated as
a Foreign Terrorist Organization Obama used cluster bombs to shred
dozens of women and children in a failed attempt to hit members of
"al Qaida in Yemen (AQY)".
.
The war crime immediately became a dirty Obama secret, covered up
with the help of the MSM, in particular ABC.
.
An enthusiastic White House had leaked to their contacts at ABC that
Obama had escalated the War on Terror, taking it to another country,
Yemen. This was December 17, 2009 only days after Obama had returned
from his ceremony in Oslo where he proudly accepted the Nobel Peace
Prize.
.
ABC was thrilled with their scoop and in manly voices announced
the escalation in the War on Terror.
.
The very next day ABC went silent forever about it, joining the cover up
of a war crime.
.
Hillary Clinton, by the way, committed her own act of cover up.
Covering her butt by backdating a memo (fraud - Federal fraud).
.
The designation of a organization as a FTO (Foreign Terrorist Organization)
is not official nor legal until it is published in the Federal Register.
An oversight? Obama attacked Yemen before Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
had done the paperwork to make the killing "legal"?
.
The designation was not published until a month later, January 19, 2010.
Hillary Clinton back dated the memo she published in the Register with the date of
December 14, 2009, to somewhat cover her butt.
.
Obama's acceptance speech in Oslo for the Nobel Peace Prize was December 10th.
He slaughtered dozens of women and children in Yemen on December 17th.
.
Yemen leaders agreed to participate in Obama's coverup saying it was their
own Yemen forces that had shredded dozens of women and children.
.
Obama gave the Yemen leaders a quid pro quo for their loyalty in the form
of military hardware, much of it circumventing the oversight and constitutional
approval of Congress.
.
Obama was grateful to the Yemen leaders. The Yemen leaders were not
honored in Oslo. But, ironically, Obama ended his speech honoring women
and children, days before he ordered their slaughter.
.
How can one not be cynical.
.
"Hope and Change" Obama in Oslo, accepted his Nobel Peace Prize.
Reading between the lines, Obama described
*** "Hope" as just a childish dream. ***
.
Reading between the lines, the real world, according to Obama's speech is
'a cruel world' with 'punishing poverty',
a world where 'oppression will always be with us',
'deprivation is intractable',
'clear-eyed we can understand that there will be war',
but there is 'still a place for that child's dreams'.
.
One week after his Nobel Peace Prize speech
Mr Hope and Change shredded dozens of women and children in Yemen
and covered it up.
.
Obama in Oslo, December 10, 2009:
.
"Somewhere today, a mother facing punishing poverty
still takes the time to teach her child, scrapes together what
few coins she has to send that child to school -- because she
believes that a cruel world still has a place for that child's
dreams.
.
Let us live by their example. We can acknowledge that oppression will
always be with us, and still strive for justice. We can admit the
intractability of deprivation, and still strive for dignity. Clear-eyed,
we can understand that there will be war, and still strive for peace.
We can do that -- for that is the story of human progress; that's the
.
hope
.
of all the world; and at this moment of challenge,
that must be our work here on Earth.
.
Thank you very much.
(Applause.)
.
One week later Obama shredded dozens of women and children in Yemen
and covered it up.
