I would contend that the powers that be could use a loose cannon like Trump and allow him to occasionally make a spontaneous off-the-cuff remark, and then use that remark to fit into their agenda. There are so many MAGA followers that actually believe Trump is fighting the "deep state" and by allowing occasional spontaneous outbursts by the Donald reinforces in the eyes of his followers that he is "working independently" of the State apparatus. I think what we are witnessing is western “civilisation” in its final stages before a cataclysm. Unfortunately it will most likely destroy the world in the process.
It’s obvious that democracy and the international institutions setup post WW2 have failed and fascism/supremacy and brute force have total impunity. International law, morality, ethics - have been crushed. This is the era of raw power. Trump is merely a symptom and agent of this collapse.
Perhaps also worth contemplating that when WW2 ended, the age of western imperialism and white supremacy did not. It was merely given a window dressing and papered over with a veneer of decency and morality. That too has been stripped away. The German Nazis were defeated only because they threatened other Europeans, but the spirit of violent hatred and supremacy, eternal war and endless expansionism, ethnic cleansing and genocide, land theft and conquest survived in the Zionist project. Zionists have achieved the kind of global domination Hitler could only dream of.
The next world war will almost certainly take place this century when nuclear weapons will be used in large numbers. What’s left of humanity, if anything, will then have to begin the long and enormously difficult road ahead, but with an opportunity for a true reset.
