The world has been taken over by billionaires and their lackeys. Trump is a bit of both, but mostly a lackey. What a disgusting pair Netanyahu and Trump make. Too bad we couldn't confine them together in a very small space with just a bit of water and a couple of crusts of bread. Enough to keep them alive as none of us would want to stoop to their low level where starving and murder are just the done thing.

Good idea. Let the Bibi and Donnie survive on the same number of calories they decreed that the Palestinians in Gaza should live on. And drop bunker busting bombs on them at the same time so they can enjoy the entire experience they've subjected so many innocents to.

Whatever you decide to do, Susan T, make sure that President Adelson and her wayward child, Donny are included together in their confinement and that you send by special delivery a parcel to Netanyahu which will have a pager / walkie-talkie included, similar to those sent to people in Lebanon.

Any crowd-funding campaign should raise trillions for the exercise. But you’ll need such funding to rebuild Palestine and to isolate 97% of the genocide supportive population of Israel, 86%of US politicians and AIPAC and ADL staff, University managements, where required, various governors of various states and the owners of almost all the media in the USA.

Wow. And all this after just 6 weeks. Think on that, everyone.

At this point, I've come to accept that the human species is a failed species as we live in a time of the internet and access to all the info one needs to come to the right conclusions with the evil people openly telegraphing their evil intentions and yet, the collective peoples and nations of the world 🌎 can do nothing to stop their open known plans and evil actions. All we do is cry and wait online andp then go back to the comfort of our homes with not a single action taken

If 8 billion of us cannot use our numbers to end the few in power pushing all this evil shit down our throats and to our collective demise, then it tells me that we do not seriously want any change and more importantly, we deserve to have the evil ones win as they are fewer than us and still whoop our collective asses all the time

We deserve obliteration and extinction and I am done wasting my time yelling at the bad guys when nothing comes out of it. Let the bad guys win for we are a confirmed failure of a species and deserved to be erased from this Universe

To the nine hells and beyond with humanity. I'm fucking done.

The nature of the universe is change that ultimately supports survival via resculpturing, but Israel/US demonstrates only stasis in service of the extinction of life. A fundamental contradiction that demand the removal of this duo from our midst. As in all other cases of fundamental contradictions, failure to act swiftly will generally lead to the far worse consequences of sustained entropic degeneration with much wider impacts than could've been avoided by swift extirpation of the illness.

My own pregnancy was accidental; otherwise I doubt I’d have had children.

Through two marriages, I somehow avoided assisting in conception, and although they might not have been completely in accord at the time, both of my exes (whom I love dearly) currently breathe a sigh of relief that we refrained, given the condition of this country's madness. And I was lucky -- my bro had two sons, passed on the genes, which alleviated guilt. And of the ~10K ex-students out there, I'd say there are around a couple hundred who are as dear to me as my own children.

Agree, Uaifo. Humanity had its chance and failed miserably. Let other species become dominant. Humans need to go the way of the dinosaur. Here we are, witnessing a live-streamed genocide, and the only defenders of the Palestinian people are three small ( but incredibly brave) groups while the rest of the world sits by and wrings their hands. “Oh dear, what shall we do? We’re worried about being labeled ‘antisemitic’!’” Or in Trump’s case: “People give me money and I do what they want”.

It’s too bad there aren’t enough tigers left to dispose of humanity. Maybe the lions, cougars and other big cats could pitch in.

Honestly, the Arab nations are the biggest disappointment for me over the course of this genocide as they have abandoned their fellow brothers and sisters to the hands of a common enemy to do as they please and they just watch it all along with the rest of us

Their spinelessness disgusts me to no end and till the end of my days, I can never have the least atom of respect for them again after this. They are weak failures who deserve to be scorned and mocked forever more

Hell, they are still thinking of a way to normalize relations with the Zionist states after all this and that just shows that money and economy is their real God and not the one they profess to serve with their lips only. Only 1 of those oil rich Arab countries can bankroll the reconstruction of Gaza to a pristine level and not feel the pinch at all but Ii have heard nothing about doing that in a substantive way

Gypsy, the more I think on this issues deeply and all the manner of betrayals that have occured in the last 1½ years alone makes me know that humanity is lost and worships money and sex as their God and Goddess while playing lip service to an imaginary bearded dude up in the sky

USA is going to become unbearable for the people but maybe then they will realise what has been going on in the other countries they violated. It is possible that this will happen in Europe too and here I can only speak of France.

We do have Separation of Religion and State at the present moment. We had so many Religious wars which were detrimental to moving forward. Not many people know this but there was a schism with the Vatican in France. They made a new Pope who had his Papal Palace here in France.

Wars of Religion are very similar to civil war.....neighbour against neighbour/family against family. I know you know this Vin.

All for world domination, to grab everything for themselves like they have been doing; to prevent multilateralism and sharing, coexistence; not let the rest of the world prosper. Greed is the only thing they know well.

The spectacle of the European powers now rallying round Zelenskyy pretending to be caring of the Ukrainians (who were stupid enough to fight a proxy war for them) and full of platitudes of saving a non-existent democracy is the height of fallacy. All this time they were sanguine enough to let Ukrainians become cannon fodder, while also cheering on an on-going genocide with their friendly apartheid state.

It's an enraging and frustrating position to be in; knowing the world doesn't care and refuses to listen. It's horrifying to watch people professing to be Christians cheer Israel on.

On another level it's fascinating and instructive to see the power of propaganda to sway those who believe themselves to be aware of and exempt from propaganda. It's shocking to see people proclaim "finish the job" and say out loud with banal tones they want Gaza laid flat. IDF soldiers behave like perverted creeps wearing intimate clothing from Palestinian women and send photos to girlfriends, shoot terrorized crying children, and murder anyone they see. There is no conscience. They do all this knowing they have full immunity. I wish them nightmares of their crimes.

>>"The trouble with democracy is that it very often shows that the problems of humanity lie with the people who vote, and not with the politicians they elect."

I would say that the problem lies with 'how easily ordinary people are manipulated, propagandized, and coerced into voting against their own interests'. Until that flaw can be addressed and resolved, we will continue getting leaders/politicians that work for moneyed interests instead of 'the people' regardless of 'what voting choices we are presented with'.

Some ways of fixing those 'FLAWS' ->

(1) Media literacy education/skills (skeptical inquiry about MSM and other sources of information)

(2) Critical thinking skills/education (human biases, fallacies, heuristics, cognitive errors)

Your logic is inescapable, Chang. I have seen so much classroom (and "laboratory") teaching" concerned with conveying/rehashing of facts and demonstrating observations, which although interesting and sustaining of student attention fail to elicit very much in the direction of the supposed goal of "inquiry". Lots of words on paper for educational accreditation orgs, but in practice, lots of the same atherosclerotic BS monotone lecturing at students. There's a technique called thinking-aloud pair problem solving (TAPPS), which requires pairs of students to discuss their solution to a problem in front of a faculty or grad student who provides gentle feedback and direction. My integrated-science-curriculum colleague and I used it with college freshmen; it was stunning the misconceptions revealed. But this is labor-intensive education, and in general very few institutions in the US believe that investments in that type of critical thinking education is worth it. That's the bloody problem. We pour money into researching new drugs for illnesses affecting a tiny slice of the population, but refuse to invest in true enlightenment of minds that this country so desperately needs.
